I started a new account just to see if my luck changed with the daily work out gift. Several days in, and I'm already getting duplicates - two so far.
They weren't inexpensive either. One a mclaren, the other a lamborghini. On the positive side, I did receive a car that I have yet to win on my main account - GT40 '66.
I'm really starting to think it's not a random number generator on the spin, but that each account gets a random pattern of percentages per car.
this would definitely account for the 9 copies of a mazda atenzas gr.4 whereas I still have yet to win a beat, bug, etc...
I have to say, this part of the game is poorly thought out.
This is essentially a mini game in the game, and collecting cars can be essential to the game - especially enjoying the rare cars. Driving the 250 GT at la sarthe is fun.
but the wheel of misery is designed around a lottery system which is just painful. It kills a lot of the enjoyment for me. I'd rather not have any gift cars or reward system that tricks you into having false hopes of winning something great. sometimes I'll play for those 15 min a day just to get the workout gift, because in the back of my head I'm thinking...well you never know? and I get another atenza. If instead of banking 15-30min a day, I could use my time wisely and really enjoy the endurance races which are 1 hour plus. playing 15min a day every day for a week is 1.75 hours! that's time I could use to play the endurance ai race during the weekend and enjoy myself. instead, I'll run some 15 min race, because I've got **** to do and get the wheel and just say to myself, why am I doing this to myself?
oh well.
