Your daily workout gift

I started a new account just to see if my luck changed with the daily work out gift. Several days in, and I'm already getting duplicates - two so far.

They weren't inexpensive either. One a mclaren, the other a lamborghini. On the positive side, I did receive a car that I have yet to win on my main account - GT40 '66.

I'm really starting to think it's not a random number generator on the spin, but that each account gets a random pattern of percentages per car.

this would definitely account for the 9 copies of a mazda atenzas gr.4 whereas I still have yet to win a beat, bug, etc...

I have to say, this part of the game is poorly thought out.

This is essentially a mini game in the game, and collecting cars can be essential to the game - especially enjoying the rare cars. Driving the 250 GT at la sarthe is fun.

but the wheel of misery is designed around a lottery system which is just painful. It kills a lot of the enjoyment for me. I'd rather not have any gift cars or reward system that tricks you into having false hopes of winning something great. sometimes I'll play for those 15 min a day just to get the workout gift, because in the back of my head I'm thinking...well you never know? and I get another atenza. If instead of banking 15-30min a day, I could use my time wisely and really enjoy the endurance races which are 1 hour plus. playing 15min a day every day for a week is 1.75 hours! that's time I could use to play the endurance ai race during the weekend and enjoy myself. instead, I'll run some 15 min race, because I've got **** to do and get the wheel and just say to myself, why am I doing this to myself?

oh well.

Week XV:

09/07 – Volkswagen GTI VGT (Gr.3)
10/07 – Subaru BRZ S '15 ["Crystal White Pearl"]
11/07 – McLaren F1 '94 ["Platinum Silver"]
12/07 – Lexus RC-F GT3 (Emil Frey Racing) '17
13/07 – GReddy Fugu Z
14/07 – Aston Martin V8 Vantage S '15 ["Selene Bronze"]
15/07 – Subaru WRX STI Type S '14 ["Crystal White Pearl"]

Struck-through entries denote dupes.

As an aside, my brother had a 250 GTO appear on the roulette this week. Obviously he got the Lexus that sat right after it...

Sunday, July 14th, 2019: Jaguar XJR-9 '88 (Gr.1)

It's funny that I somehow get this car, despite the fact that there was a V12 Vantage GT3, 458 Italia Group 4, and a stock Toyota 86 GT. I guess the game's trying to apologize for the pile of dread that I won on Saturday. If I got the god damn 86, I honestly would've just turned the game off.
I hope that my reward today is anything but some unwanted N-class car.

Monday, July 15th, 2019: 2017 Nissan GT-R Nismo (N600) (Dupe)

Ugh, come on. Of this, a Viper GT3-R, a Gr.3 F-Type, and a Peugeot 908 to be my prize car, I had to start the week off with a frickin' GT-R. :grumpy:
Why do I get the feeling that my car prizes are about to get a lot worse as the week passes?

This car prize easily gets a 3/10. Come on, race cars, and my unlucky reward happens to be a dull road car.

Tuesday, July 16th, 2019: 1987 Audi S1 Quattro Pike's Peak (Gr.B) (Dupe)

Yep, this week's about to get even worse. What's my reward for tomorrow, a super slow Sprinter Trueno? Why does it always have to be the S1 Rally Car RIGHT after I say, "Oh, Please don't let my gift be the S1 Rally Car." No unicorns in this wheel, thankfully, because I am NOT having a repeat of January 13th's prize car, where the wheel had 2 UNICORNS, a Prototype, AND a crummy Rally Car. You can kind of guess which one I won.

This car prize gets a 3/10. Not a very strong way to start the week at all. In fact, it was incredibly bad.

Finally got gold on Tsubaka (yes, I know) and got..... Renault Sport Megane RS Trophy 2011. Disappointed.

Next the daily gift, wasn't expecting much after the Megane..... and I got the Infiniti VGT!! Chuffed to bits, in fact I almost nearly bought it recently but couldn't decide between it and the Peugeot VGT (not the LR versions) so didn't...... really pleased, it's a gorgeous car!

My 7/15/19 DWG is a third dup

I also completed the first and second driving tests at the intermediate level and got the GT3 version, supplementing the three GT4 I already have...

And
GT-R '17.jpg

Particularly liking this as i don't have to buy it...

I got the L750R which is a unique car for me in over 700 cars. Fairly useless though since not upgradeable 700hp etc wont cut it in GT1.

Strangely unlike many of you some manufacturers just dont like me. I think I've only ever got 1 x Mito and a think a pair of 4c road cars and I think one each of the GT3 and 4 cars.

Not that I'm complaining... one example is fine.

Daily Workout #628- Citroën DS3 Racing 2011 (455th double) I guess the game decided to throw me the cheapest cars now, since all my three cars rewarded this week were all in the N100 or N200 class.......I´m pretty sure that I got this car like about a dozen times already.....

Wednesday, July 17th, 2019: Alfa Romeo MiTo 1.4 Turbo (N200)

This week just keeps getting worse with the prizes. Out of a Xanavi Nismo GT-R Group 4 Veyron, and a Corvette Group 3, I get this. The moment that I saw the wheel gift me this car, I must have turned my PS4 on/off no joke around 12 times to see if I could AT LEAST walk away with the Veyron Gr.4 that was there, but to no avail. I just got this car every time, and I was pissed because I did not want to win it again.

As I stated before, with every unwanted duplicate I get rewarded, I wish Polyphony could allow you to sell unwanted duplicates for cash. I'm not talking about a fraction of that car's original price, the car's full price. Example, a Subaru Impreza WRX STI Group 3. Instead of a measly 135,000 credit refund, just give the full 450K refund. If this becomes a real thing, I would swim in literally millions and millions of dollars.

While I agree with you that the full credit should be given, especially if you have never driven or put mileage onto it... But beggars cannot be choosy... Partial credit for a car that you freely earn is really not bad...

I haven't tried it yet so I dont know, but I keep on hearing conflicting info... Can we or can we not sell our gifted cars ??!!

(Circuit Experience) Today's Slap In The Face: Ford Mustang Group B Rally Car (Gr.B)

One of my Willow Springs gifts. Oh, and guess what? It sucks. Yep, just like my other rewards this week. The biggest middle finger of all is that there was a 911 GT3, which I actually wanted to be gifted, but of course I don't get it.
Polyphony, patch the DWG so that players can pick their OWN car rewards, not have the game select them.

The Daily Unwanted Duplicate is a major issue. I have 245 duplicate cars, out of 464. That means more than 52% of my cars are duplicates! What do I need these for? I also miss the bonus for logon on consecutive days. You could earn as many points as you wanted and not be capped at 20 million points.
In GT5, GT6 you could sell duplicates, get points and buy what you want. Can't do that in GTS since Polyphony decided if they limit how many points you can get, and how fast you can get them, you might actually spend real money on your credit card to buy a car you want. Guaranteed that will never happen here.
So the whole game sits until an update comes out. I run the new events and unplug the system until the next update. Not a resounding endorsement for the fun factor of GTS.
On line racing is ridiculous for the idiots crashing you just for the fun they get from doing that, so online racing dropped off the "things to do list" a very long time ago.

Daily Workout #629- BMW i3 2015 (456th double) And it´s getting even better, after denying me the AE86 Sprinter Trueno, the game decided to throw me another stupid copy of this car, which I really don´t know why it´s in this game......

For me and a few friends it's become a meme car since one of them works with a research firm and his boss has an I3. Plus there was a time where
we all seemed to get nothing but I3's off the wheel.

I think the moral here is the game loves to stir the discussion thread here because I've had to the AE86 three times off the wheel yet you haven't had it once.

Has anyone ever had a car 16 times though? A friend has had the Lexus RC-F '16 that number of times since the launch of the game.
