What is your favorite Le Mans race car in Gran Turismo 5? Also what is the number on that car because I know that some cars, like the C60, are avalible in different numbers and I would like to find out what some of the different numbers are. Also if it has a cockpit camera angle please say it does! If you would like to include a picture that may be cool too. Thanks!

Online: Peugeot 908.
I hadn't driven it because it was a diesel, but thank god PD ****ed up the sound so it sounds like a petrol car.
Did a 2 hour online race on the Nordschleife, with damage set to heavy and didnt crash it once because it was so easy to drive.

Not the absolute fastest car over 1 lap, but for races lasting more than 10 minutes it;s the car to beat. Especially with damage on servers.

GT-One and R8 Race Car. Not too crazy about the 787B though. IMO, the R10 is garbage.

What is the quality that everybody seems to love about the 787 so much? My personal favorite seems to be the BMW V12 LMR '99, however it really hinders my experience when it doesn't have a cockpit camera. I mean come on, I found the cockpit pictures on the Internet really really quickly and Forza had a cockpit camera for the car. But the only two I have so far is the BMW V12 and the 908, but now I'm out to collect the Le Mans cars as they are the coolest in the game and I'm at A-Spec level 31 so I got nothing else to do.

GT-One since it only cost about 2.9m compared to other LMP cars which are 4m+.

It was such an underdog in the race (it won by sheer reliability, as opposed to speed/power) and it's also the only car with a rotary engine to ever win the 24hr race. 👍

Oh I see, it's the Le Mans and/or rotary engine fans appeal. To me the car just doesn't scream out to me, probably because I like the looks and experience of the open cockpit prototypes the best.

I have one... it sounds NASTY... my personal favorite is the Audi R8 LMP/R10.. im just a big time fan of their sheer dominance of Le Mans... my two favorite racers of all time.. and ive collected each and every one in the game.. im very happy with all of them

Love the sound of the Mazda 787B, it sound soooo good!

Other mentions go to the Nissan R92CP, the Sauber C9 and one of the fastest and hardest LM cars to beat, the Jaguar XJR-9.

Are you kidding me? It was a PPORT N/A 26b Wankel capable of 800+ BHP, Massive Power and Speed, not very reliable. It won because it is purely insane. It should make 1500+ hp with a turbo.

My favourite is probably the Vertigo, Peugeot 905, the R92CP, and the Sauber C9. C60 Hybride is pretty insane too.

It is very very fast. It can't go as fast around corners though. It takes corners about the same speed as the Toyota 7 (330~ at Indy)

That is the Vertigo without a turbo and a stock tranny that only hits maybe 250 km/hr because it wasnt made (in real life) to run around indy at 350+

You put a custom tranny in it and it hits 400 km/hr without draft. If that car had a custom tranny in like the wind it would probably do a few places better.

I like the ones with the least power. No need for 1000hp. So that makes it:

When these cars pop up in the UCD they have much less power, usually around 599hp. I was thinking of putting up a thread in the marketplace: I want lots of miles and switches.
