heh, can't go wrong with the Ferrari 330 P4 :D

I have the 787B, 908 and the C60 #17, and I can't decide which is best. I'd probably go with the 908....

I am not that great a driver so I have to have a car with great handling. After trying out everything but the C9 and the Bentley 8, I have found the GTONE to be the fastest car I can driver around the Nurburgring comfortably. The 787B is almost there, but still too twitchy for me. The next slower car is the Ford GT Race Car II, then the Ferrari P330.

On less demanding tracks I like the Minolta, and on the really easy tracks I like a downgraded X2010(Ie with extra balast and power limited).

Has anybody drive a C60, I'm curios to here what you guys think
I have the C60 Judd GV5 '04. Not a good car in my opinion. On default setup the car under steers quite a bit, and lacks grip(I use racing mediums on most lmp's)
After A LOT of time tuning, it produces fairly decent lap times, but is very inconsistent and I find myself fighting the car all the time.

My favorite has to be my Minolta by far. Easy to drive, very consistent and soaks up any bumps no problem:) Awesome around Nordschleife:tup:

I like the Jaguar XJR-9 the most. Great design, good sound effects, and when you customize it properly, can put out a mean speed of almost 290 MPH.

(That may change if I can get a Nissan R92CP thought, always wanted that car)

For some reason I don't really like the LMP cars. I do like many of the Group C cars though. My favorite in the game is the Jaguar XJR-9. However, that would have changed if they had included the Porsche 956. In real life I prefer watching the GT cars compete.

Are you kidding me? It was a PPORT N/A 26b Wankel capable of 800+ BHP, Massive Power and Speed, not very reliable. It won because it is purely insane. It should make 1500+ hp with a turbo.

My favourite is probably the Vertigo, Peugeot 905, the R92CP, and the Sauber C9. C60 Hybride is pretty insane too.

You are wrong about the 787. I watched that race it won. Only reason it win was because the Saubers broke. It was not the fastest of those Group C cars. It was down some laps to the Saubers C9 until they broke. It's been a long while since I saw it but that is my recollection of what I saw. It was reliability that won the race for Mazda. Btw it's the only time a Japanese car won Le Mans.

787b is my fav Le Mans car in GT5 followed very closely by Toyota GT1 Other favs include Peugeot 908, RCP90, Bentley Speed 8, C60 Hybride, CLK GTR, Mclaren F1 longtail, Viper GTSR.

The most favourite...

Ford GT40 with TC off. Love the farting sound of the car. :P
Next, Nissan R92CP or XJR-9
and last, Pug 908.

I didnt say that is was as powerful Im just stating that its an insane car and was capable of 800 BHP while the other cars were running the same, it also was running carburetors and fully mechanical

No rotary engine will EVER be reliable, apex seals are too poor for that.

That is the Vertigo without a turbo and a stock tranny that only hits maybe 250 km/hr because it wasnt made (in real life) to run around indy at 350+

You put a custom tranny in it and it hits 400 km/hr without draft. If that car had a custom tranny in like the wind it would probably do a few places better.

Ahhh, I see. That good to know, thanks dude

Peugeot 908, in the Le Mans Prototype category. (it was the only one I could grind for). Its a torque monster! You can drive it the whole race without even the first pair of shifting lights going on. Plus you can take any corner in fourth gear, and still get a little wheel spin! Not to mention driving that thing with cockpit camera, no assists including ABS, with a DS3, at Le Mans or Nurburgring, when raining! Thats an experience!! It makes you feel superior when you manage to dominate that thing and actually win the race. You might not be as fast as those people who claim that bumper cam is the best, but you know you´re having more fun than they do.:) Also, my favorite LMP, the BMW V12. Shame its not a premium.:(

For the old Group C category, I would say the 787, or the Minolta. I won the Minolta, but like the above mentioned, its a shame its not premium. The 787, I haven´t purchased it yet. But my favorite would be the Sauber C9. I just haven´t found it yet.

Just got the R10 TDI. In the little time I've driven it it brakes really well but seems to lack when getting through the gears. However the draft makes a world of difference and it acelerates better to greater speeds then the others in the draft. It also is very stable and handles superbely in the corners. Where it lacks in speed and aceleration it makes up for under braking and cornering.

Did anybody else realize that Le Mans car seem to appear less frequently in the UCD since the last updates here?

Ehem....

It has to be the 908 but not for long

Do we even know if they are adding that one yet? They should hit up all this years new prototypes and put them in the new car dealer with a bunch of different liverys
