Your Halloween Costume Thread [Pics, ideas, etc.]

So, Halloween is almost upon us and while I'm not a huge fan of the festival I thought I'd have a go at dressing up and making a fool of myself. My work is having a 'hospital' theme so most people are coming in dressed as doctors, nurses, surgeons and patients. We bought 40 real hospital uniforms for a grand total of about USD115 - cheap as chips! My colleague and I thought this was a bit dull though so we're expanding the theme a little and making bio-hazard clean up crew costumes (on a budget). Our budget is only about USD35.00, but with the biggest manafacturing factory sprawl just over the border I'm sure there are some bargains to be had in the hardware stores of Hong Kong.

It had been my origional intent to jump on The Watchmen train before hit came to the station (dressing up as Rorschach), but time limits and definite budget constraints has otherwise written the idea off completely. Depending on if I'm going to a party or not will likely decide if I'm doing something. I could easily throw a Pirate outfit together in less than 20 minutes, but I did that last year (or the year before?). Anyway, if I'm doing anything, I'll probably use an old lab coat from around the house and go as Dr. Tiki...

I wasn't aware I had to dress up this year but Kate informed me that we were taking her little cousin trick or treating. Guess I need a costume now. I'm kind of disappointed I can no longer go as a broke mini trucker. Looking through my closet I have everything to make an Indiana Jones costume so I'm going to go as that. And by everything I mean the hat, the bullwhip, and whatever else it is he wears.

Me in my Biohazard Clean-Up Crew gear last night. My friend dressed up the same. We had a different ID badge for each bar. We both won a couple of bottles of wine and got a lot of attention from the ladies - result!

Hope Ultimate wears dresses to Huckfest (the Halloween frisbee tournament) every year. I had a nice shiny blue one.
