Just managed this:

I just gotta post this... we just got upgraded to a gigabit network connection here on the campus and the results to other servers is simply staggering.

🤬 This is possibly the best speedtest result I have ever seen! I would long for internet as quick as that!

Do I win? :dopey:.

This is at work. Will have to try at home next time I think of it.

Finally got around to doing the test at home...

Not that great, but havent really had a problem on GT5 until the last couple of months, but I think that is mostly the network's fault, not mine.

That internet connection speed you saw right there is obscene!

Not bad, very few problems on GT5 or any other game

I am the only one on the internet at home right now, and I got a personal best!

Considering when everyone in the household is simply at home my download speed is about 2.8-3 mb/s, this is pretty good.

Doing good. Nice that Time Warner does not limit the download speed if there is enough shared bandwidth leftover in the local Time Warner network. This is through wireless to my desktop computer(located a story under the wireless router).

Not sure what this stuff means, but I have cable modem, and it's broadband, it's fairly fast, I've seen faster, but it does fine.

Test Date: May 4, 2012 6:52 PM
Connection Type: Wifi
Server: Harold, KY
Download: 27.12 Mbps
Upload: 3.35 Mbps
Ping: 77 ms

I recently upgraded from 1Mb to 10Mb. Not much by today's world standards but I'm loving it. And it's just an extra $10 per month.
