Yeah, I know. The school Wifi sucks but the cable is freaking insane.
I did the test several times and it was always at zero ping, download at 50-75, upload at 60-85.

My Dad got some new internet.

Not bad considering the UPC server is 100 miles away and he's paying for 25 Mb/s download & 3 Mb/s.

Been on this connection for about 5-6 years. Fastest available around this area (20Mb down 1Mb up) :(

Hurry up NBN :banghead: I want more speed.

Not to bad for a 3g Galaxy phone on 3g when I did the test. I'll have to see what my home Internet speed is now that we have a new router.

In town at the time of that test I suppose?
I was considering getting the Galaxy S2 4g but I'll hold off until the network spreads a bit. Live in Lara and work in Williamstown, would be pretty pointless really.

Cheers Shaun.

Yeah I was in the CBD at the time. I live in Lysterfield so I'm pretty lucky to get 3G (Still get 11-13mbs at home). A few hundred meters down the road is a valley where you get nothing .

But really wanted 4G as didn't want to be locked into old tech for 2 years. The spread is happening pretty quickly so I'd expect it so come out of town pretty soon.

Too bad that my Asus Wireless Router is on it's way out.

Well it's nice that I happened to find a Linksys E2500 for $25. One that is in mint condition with only half of a day of use makes it a steal.

Well.... I just noticed a 4G LTE icon popup on my phone this morning. They must have FINALLY activated 4G in my area. Best speed test was 33mbps down and 7.5mbps up. Better than what I have on my bonded ADSL!

Time to activate tethering.... :)

Just checked my broadband speed and its downloading at 4.00mb/s, But i am getting S/fast fibre optic installed on tuesday so i will be expecting a huge improvement.

Connection has been utter crap today....

TEST #4 - Upload errored out
2067401073.png

Whelp... Time for me to go to a chat with Time Warner and hopefully fix it. And I just chatted with Time Warner yesterday to have them reset the signal to the modem. I always hate how this happens each month.

For my WiFi:

Is this disturbing or what? Since when do upload speeds out do download

For my Ethernet:

I have to give credit where it is due for these insane upload speeds...

1. All roadrunner plans include 1Mb/s upload.
2. Based on the city and state you test it from.
3. Please mind your grammar. I've corrected it in the quotation. Nothing against you but it's just something I get irritated from.

Im in south wales And the server im on is in liverpool!!!, A different country!!!. I'd like to know what i would get with a closer server.

I have had up to 50MB/s, But it is quite rare. It is all WIFI so its not to bad and It never drops below 20, so im content.
