Similar to living in Japan with a name like Craig then. Kureg. Kuragu. Kuraigu-san. As for my surname? Forget about it. My wife had a nightmare trying to translate it into Kanji for my visa application. Kuraigu-san it is then.

Although my colleagues call me Creg. As in, the American pronunciation. :mad:

Young Drivers of Canada. I got to drive a Yaris and the teacher only had to use her passenger side brake once! My instructor's name was Jill. We talked a lot about school. She was nice. One time I brought her coffee before my driving test.

Told someone to "shut the 🤬 up" once 4 years ago. Smallhorses let me know that wasn't particularly well received 'round these parts. I learned to interwebz shortly thereafter.

Start in the Infield, make my way into the Rumble Strip, make my presence known in the Opinions forum, peek around at Cars in General, and then check on PC and Console gaming.

Previous GT/Racing Experience: GT2 through GT5P. I played GT5 once. Once I got in a race in my car while my brother was riding his bike. When I got home later somehow I was the bad guy for running into him when he cut me off.

Skills and Qualifications: Licenses, WRS, Training, Trophies: I can be the goalie for the GTP hockey team. I excel at excel, and I can burp the alphabet. Backwards.

Skills and Qualifications (Licenses, WRS, Training, Trophies): I hold every license in GT 1-5 in both gold and silver trophy trims, and am a D3 Gold driver in the WRS... which I no longer participate in because GT5 has bored me half to death. I held the No. 1 and 3 spots on Monaco and Monza in the dry and wet in F1 2010 and 2011, respectively. That is until the cheaters came around with their impossible lap times.

Trophies? I don't care about no stinkin' trofeez!

No, I didn't misbehave. Not on the original account anyway...

I only ever made this account because I couldn't remember the password for Renown, but once I did, and remembered to do so, I asked to have it locked up. :P

If yes, where, when and with what driving school?: Hamilton in 2006 for the full G. Grabbed my G1 in 2002 and my G2 a year later. Can't remember the driving school's name, only the loud, angry Serbian teacher and his rusted out 80's Sentra.

Have you been previously banned or received a (major/minor) infraction?: I was probably part of the group a handful of in-thread warnings were directed at back in the pre-GT5-release times. Oh, and one non-official PM warning.

If yes, please elaborate: The PM was regarding an old member in the Open Road who had a massive Audi bias and a habit of making up "insider info" and presenting it as fact. I may have slipped into insults with him. Of course, he was banned...

Current Browsing routine: Main index, open tabs of Infield, Rumble Strip, Site Support, GT5 (and a few subsections within), and GT6. Then tabs of all interesting threads. It makes it harder to miss something.

Previous GT/Racing (Game) Experience: I've owned all the previous full iterations of GT, with all except GT1 being bought on release day. Also grabbed Tourist Trophy and GTPSP on release day, and Prologue very late. Owned the original NFS (1 and 3), spent a fair amount of time (and money on my first wheel) with F12k2 and it's associated mods on PC, before SimBin went legit. Currently play more FM4 than any other racing games, and am typically in the Top 1%.

Skills and Qualifications (Licenses, WRS, Training, Trophies): See above. Can't remember my placing in Academy 2012, but aimed to beat most of my PSN friends, and did (even previous winner Bryan on a handful). All gold licenses on all owned PD games. Believe I was D2B in Prologue's WRS, but could be wrong. Competed in the old Board Challenges in the GT3 and GT4 days. Oh, an won a year's tuition playing GT4, thanks to Sony. Giant novelty cheque still exists!

Incorrect. As of now, there are only 82 posts in this thread. For it to be a hot topic, it has to have EITHER 100 posts or 2500 views. It has 3531 views as of now.

Are you sure about this? Jordan's name is in the OP and it could be a secret way to ferret out the wanna-be's. As well as finding out who will just kill people randomly if given a gun.
And imagine years from now a new member reading this and wondering who was actually made a mod though this application process. Posts made by moderators' when they weren't moderators' are still marked with a moderator's title. Whose to know when they made it?
In fact I can safely predict that TB, T-12, Omnis, Pupik and SlipZtrEm will be accepted as actual mods. Jump two years into the future - and you'll see I was right. In fact maybe sooner. ;)
I would also recommend Fryz and Shem whose immoderation will balance out any overmoderation.

Oh! And Monatsende (did I get that right?) because you never know when we'll need someone with military driving experience.

As for me. No time to do the job right. Just thankful there are guys (and gals?) out there keeping the place decent and workable - and they're friendly, too - all of which is what makes a mod one.

have so far not been convincing enough. When you later apply for a real job you may want to give that some more thought. It is what recruiters are mostly interested in. :)
