Nurburing is my favorite. I like distance racing with the combination of turns and straights. I despise Tsukaba simply because it seems like every other race I do ends up there. I hope they put Sebring in GT5 and 24 Hours of Daytona as well. šŸ‘

One of the tracks I really like is El Capitan, but it is different in that I HATE it in reverse form. To me it's the track with the biggest difference (good vs. bad) in its two forms.

My favorite always used to be Midfield. I used to love the high speed chicane, but it seems like the made the chicane a lot tighter now and I can't seem to go flat out through it like I could in GT2 and GT3. Right now Nordschleife is giving me a lot of headaches just 'cause I haven't been able to totally learn the track, but I can see it being a lot of fun once I get it nailed down.

Your right, i also used to take the chicane flatout, but is doesnt seem to be tighter at all. Midfield is great!!

I hate El Capitan & Infineon Raceway

Updated:

Circuit de la Sarthe I: The two chicanes on the Mulsanne Straight are what takes the fun away. My dreams of reaching maximum velocity for my car get dashed when I am forced to slow down and stroll around these chicanes. I'm not impressed with players prefering the chicaned version over the unchicaned one. Being obsessed with technicality all the time does not make you an elite, state-of-the-art racer. It just makes you fatuous.

Any other oval course: These tracks only go for top speed and the boring factor is very high in these kind of courses.

U said u liek to reach teh maximum velocity :ill:

Me likes -
Nurburgring - Haven't mastered it yet, but it's still fun.
Grand Valley - My favorite course since GT1.
Laguna Seca - I dunno, I just really dig it. Yeah GT3 'felt' better, but this time it's more like the real course.

Me no likey -
Opera - I can run it clean and fast, I just don't like the flow.
Hong Kong - I just can't get this one down. I prolly need more practice on it, I just don't like it enough to practice.
Citi di Aria - WAY too tight quarters, the AI cars get no 5 second penalty. I HATE this track.

monaco is favourite. special stage route 5 also, i guess i have a thing for tunnels.
and that paris city nite track. feel like tour de france there.
hong kong coz the streets scenes are just awesome.

i fear nurburing and icy tracks. suzuka(long one) also i am quite clueless.

hate new york. and seoul. the two tracks are sort of redundant.

one track i wish they have is macau. kinda similar to monaco but even crazier in the hills.

what's your guys (that have played) most and least favorite tracks?
Just like in real life my favorite ones are snow and dirt, and again just like in real life I have no least favorites.

Preferred tarmac tracks are : Monaco because I could do it with my eyes closed after watching so many F1 races since I was a kid, and laguna Seca because I've been there for a two days session with the California Superbike School and that I will never forget how much fun it was.

Favorite tracks would have to be :
--Trial Mountain Circuit (drifting) šŸ‘ :)
--Fuji Speedway 90s šŸ‘ :)

Least favorite tracks:
--Hong Kong šŸ‘Ž šŸ‘Ž šŸ‘Ž
--Opera Paris šŸ‘Ž šŸ‘Ž
--George V Paris šŸ‘Ž

Some of my favorites would have to include:
almost any Fuji Speedway
Trial Mountain
Tokyo
El Capitan
Cathedral Rocks I
Seattle, i wish they had the seattle short course

The ones I tend to not like:
Nurburgring
Leguna Seca- i loved it in the other games
Suzuka
Infion road car course
deep forest.
Grand valley raceway- played it too many times

I don't kno about u all but i like all the tracks, yeah some get boring especially the test course (it's nice to see how fast ur car can get after 30 mins) but yea. Anywayz my Favorite track is Nurburgring- the track is the best everything about is is just awesome and i just love the track. Circut De La Sarthe II- Another awesome track mostly because of its high speed turns u can make and that lovely straighaway.

I see you all don't like Tsukuba Circut, before i read this forum i thought people liked it and honestly i love this track. But i can understand how u all say its too little and i believe it is. But its a kool track especially for stock cars and not ur everyday 1000hp Minolta. Cmon guys be realistic. By the way Tsukuba Circut is a very famous track in Japan and alot of races i download are on that track. I saw a 24hr Race with Miata's in that track, pretty kool how they pit and switch drivers every couple hours nice to see. I agree it must get boring doh. Give the track some credit! šŸ‘ šŸ‘ šŸ‘ šŸ‘ šŸ‘

Opera Paris
i like, but its not too exciting i run there once in a while with my 340hp Impreza Beast.

Tokyo is a great track i love how it gets bumpy on the straight going over 130+mph and watch the building past right by you. I love that cant ever regret that feeling. New and Seoul Central run in this category as well (building type track)

Clubman Stage Route and Specia
l- Great tracks, maybe since there the only tracks at night thats prolly y. Reminds me of Street Racing since its usually done at night*

Im too lazy to list my feelings for the rest of the tracks so i think ill stop here. :)

I unlocked La Sarthe I today, and after the utterly insane IA-16 test (but got Gold on the second attempt - first time I failed after hitting a cone I didn't even see!), I have to say I like this one better. It just seems better, like Fuji 90's is better than Fuji 80's

Also drove Fuji 2005 today in the IA Licence, which was good. Another Gold, too. While some people think the new back section is fiddly, I like it. But may I ask, what's with the banking around the perimeter? I know Fuji was originally intended to be a combination oval/road track, but the banking doesn't really do anything - it's not joined up, and it's not part of the track.

Motegi Road is also fun. While I hate the stuipid short East and West versions of this track (mostly because of the exceptionally narrow roads that link the shorter loops up), I like the full road circuit. The last corner complex (as featured in IA-14) is rather tricky though.

i love all the tracks for all the gt games

tracks i would like to return:

RED ROCK VALLEY
it would look so awesome with the sun effects and would be a perfect testing track

MOTORLAND from gt 2
The best drifting track ever

misfit
what ever happen to Red Rock Valley from GT2 - now that was a good track!

I've been thinking the same thing - that was the best with a good high hp car. You could open it up on the long straights and then use the long curves and chicanes to find out your limits at different speeds - and you could always decide if you were going to beat your friend by cutting through the sand or doing the turns "right." And the colors were cool.

I'm glad they brought back the high-speed ring and those other early ones, but I'm surprised they didn't bring back red rock.

ill be boring and just list my favorites
1.) nurburgring
2.)monaco i cant remember it proper name
3.) motegi east short corse (if thats the one that doesnt go across the finish line fir the full coarse)

my least favorite is
1.) el capitan
2.)the 2 elcapitan rally courses
3.)chamonix

Altough I like the Nurb, I can't say it's my favorite. Too long for me. My fav is suzuka for the real tracks, just long enough, good curves, all good. Grand Valley is my fav among fictious tracks.

Oppositely, I hate hong kong and NY. Small 90 degrees turns, no long straight (hong kong), too long straights(NY). Seoul is also less than fun.

My 2 cents

Does anybody else have problems with Fuji 2005?! As in not seeing the apexs of the first hairpin, second corner and second hairpin because of all the pointless tarmac run-off around the edges? Every lap for eight laps in the Real Circuit Tours today I missed at least one apex because I couldn't see it, and sometimes two. On the second lap, I missed all three. Anybody else have this problem?

Favorites:

Nurburgring -- classic and the thing has every single testy element of ALL the other courses rolled into one.

El Capitan -- getting hammered on this thread, but I love the elevation change coming out of the tunnel and the mix of different types of turns. Plus the length of a lap lends itself to actual decisions on pit strategy in the longer races.

Monaco -- I heard an F1 driver tell a story about a guy putting his ride in the bay before they slowed down the stretch in front of the grandstand and I thin about it on almost ever lap.

Not Favorites:
All the Motorland tracks

Paris Opera ... and it seems to appear all over this game, especially as you roll through the manufacturers' events. No matter how many times I run this thing I can seem to get in a groove and stay there.

Best Tracks = le Sarthe 1+2, Tokyo r246, Nurburgring, Monaco, Fuji 90s, Suzuka love going for 130R flat, Seattle reverse (not forward) screaming down the hill and braking into the left hander inches from the barrier is great I wish it was used more in this game.

Least liked = Soeul Central (it ain't got no soul), Driving Park beginners course (actually its okay with low powered cars but using race cars in the extreme events is just daft).

Despised = Alps rally course

My favourites are Nurburgring, le mans, trial mountain, midfield, infieneon and Fuji 2005 GT. I hate all motegi courses, New york, chamonix, ice arena and grand canyon(escpecially grand canyon).

Schumack

the best track is NĆ¼rburgring because it has all the things you need to test out your car . It has alot of turns and a really good top speed ending .
