My motivation is low right now, I mostly start GT7 and grind Le Mans or 10 Laps Spa Francorchamps for credits because I'm saving up for the Mercedes CLK GTR or the BMW McLaren F1 1997, then I get so tired, teary-eyed and bored that I have to quit.
Wishlist? Things that would make the difference, off the top of my head:
Finally adding all the beloved and legendary GT cars that are still missing would be huge for me. Where is the Mitsubishi FTO LM? The Toyota-7? The Toyota TS020? Etc.
Another thing that would seriously help is more tracks, especially city tracks. I really enjoy tight twisty and technical tracks. GT7 is completely lacking in this regard, we have huge swooping tracks with perfect surfaces which are nice...for a while.
Rome, Seattle, Hong Kong, Paris, Tokyo - those temporary tracks were amazing and provided a great amount variety.
Adding weather to all tracks would help keeping things interesting.
Apricot hill.
Next up - proper endurance races. 10 laps? 1 hour? 30 minutes? Those are rookie numbers. I remember 1000km Nürburgring, 99 laps Special Stage, 24 hour Le Mans etc. The current ''endurance'' races are a joke, that they have like 6 times tire wear and fuel consumptions should tell you how bad they are.
Adding hillclimb events. Point-to-Point races with twisty tight streets and slippery surfaces, I have always liked those events. Late Gran Turismo has been hardcore about the history of motor racing - well let me tell you that hillclimbs were a huge part of motorsport in the beginning when most circuits we know today did not even exist yet. Heck, Porsche got big by winning hillclimbs.
What I find in general is that PD has become extremely serious and is playing it incredibly safe, fun is not allowed.
