Your nightmares.

Sometimes I dream of games I play. Like recently I played some Doom 3 and I dreamed some of the scariest parts of the game as a perspective of me actually doing all the shooting and stuff. Scary stuff for sure. :scared:

I had a pretty weird dream the other night. It started with my parents taking my cell phone, and not giving it back, saying I wasn't allowed to have it back, which made me furious. Then, out of no where, I started chokin' out my mom, and beating my dad senseless, and just as I had my dad on the ground, knockin his teeth out, I woke up.

I never use my cell phone though, which made me wanting it back odd, I don't live with my parents, and haven't for a while, and although I have scars on my knuckles from fighting with my dad from before, me and my parents get along great now. I guess this would be more of a nightmare for them, then myself, but I still woke up a little jolted by it, and stayed away from them for the rest of the day. :nervous:

****ing, ****ing hate those. Excuse my language, but I crap my pants every time I see those. :(

edit: Nightmares...
I had one just a couple of days ago, where my family and I are wanted for something. They manage to get away from the followers, that look like FBI, but I start running to the local trainstation. I then hear large steps behind me, and as I turn around there's a freaking large robot following me. I pic up a large rock and throw it at the 'bot, but it just turns his back at me every time I throw and because it has a large shield-thingy the stones doesn't affect it. So I run into the station, and up some stairs and hide behind the bar at the McDonald's restaurant. :odd: I then woke up.

Another weird nightmare (I got alot) is that I'm driving on some San Fransisco-ish road, you know where slopes like 30 degrees. In my dream it's more like 70 degrees and all the cars are just flying after each drop like it would be freaking GT4, but nobody thinks twice about it. At one crest there's a moped in front of me, which dissapears after the crest. As I start going downhill again I don't see the moped anywhere, so I look in my rear view mirror. There's a large hole in the road, and yes you guessed right it's a freaking moped-eating-monster!
I then start to haul some arse away from the hole before I woke up.

Am I weird?

I just had me one of these...

I hate it when you have erotic dreams, and they end abruptly, and you wake up French kissing your pillow.

I don't have nightmares anymore since I have gotten older, when I do they seem more of an adventure than a nightmare.

When I was younger I used to have the usual nightmares where something is chasing you and doesn't matter how hard you try to run its like your in slow motion. I have had a few nightmares where I was well aware it was a dream and I confronted the problem.

Hhahahahahahaha... even if it wasn't real, still wish you could have finished, eh?

I'll share one dream I had as soon as I get home. (And if I remember to edit my post in here. )

Inked at 2:53; 4:50 AM

Nothing could get me to sleep at all. I first woke at 1:40 AM, after finally nodding off around 12:15. I tried every plausible method to recapture sleep: Fan on, music on, different music, music off, use the restroom, get a drink, but nothing. I think what sealed it was the waking dream I had in the state of delerium after first openning my eyes.

I felt her arms wrap around me: "C'mon hon, try and get some sleep..." "I don't think I'm going to sleep well for a while." I felt her arms squeeze tighter. "I love you, hon." "I love you, too." I turned over to wrap my arm around....nothing. She wasn't there. I sat up in bed in a wave of cold sadness. For about twenty minutes, I sat up, thinking. For the first in a long time, I cried myself to sleep.

Cheesy, I know, but still one where I wish she were there... :(

Speaking of finishing, don't ya hate it when you wake up in the middle of the night having to change your boxers and/or sheets?

I used to have horrible nightmares about Jason Voorhees when I was younger, because a friend of mine's mom used to let us watch the Friday the 13th movies when we were in elementary school. Nowadays my nightmares mostly have to do with my girlfriend doing something I can't stand, and I have no way of stopping her. Lame, I know. But very little scares me anymore...

Dude, I have black bedsheets and boxers. Oh, but I do my own laundry SOMETIMES.

That'd be kinda hard to explain to my mum... but not the yellowed crusty sock at the bottom of my cousin's sock drawer! His mom had no idea!
HAHAHHA!

Where in the hell is this thread heading? I sense disgusting conversation on the horizon; I just pictured that yellow crusty sock and I'm not sure I'll be able to eat dinner tonight!

A question that involves a bed in anyway and is aimed at internet and GT addicts (plus a fairly young grouping) is bound to go wrong somewhere

My friends mom started giving him nasal spray, and we couldn't figure out why till she asked him if it was working because she didn't find his box of kleenex beside his bed the one morning.

I used to have this wierd recurring nighmare. I would picture one of those big swings you'd have on your porch and the background would be all black. All I would see is this swing, but I don't remeber if it was swaying or not. I don't remember ever seeing myself on it, either. It's one of those "falling" dreams that everybody's had, and after a few minutes I would slowly start to feel like I was falling, or like I was laying on the swing in real life and about to roll off. The feeling would build up slowly and then it would bet really strong, just like you feel when you're falling. I would feel, in real life, my body kind of jump when I fell off, like I hit the ground, but I don't remember ever hitting the ground. That's when the dream would end, when I woke up suddenly.
I've had a bunch of different dreams about falling, like one where I slipped off the edge of the Grand Canyon and nobody would help me back up. I was holding on for a little whiil but I'd lose my grip and fall and then wake up. I've never hit the ground in any of these dreams, though. Any of you guys ever hit the ground in your falling dreams?

me too!!!

I havent had any since 3 years ago though

in mine I would actually hit the ground...it felt SOOOO weird...like I broke my bone.

I don't think there are many people who actually die or hit the ground in their dreams; you're a rare breed.

I died in a dream once actually. But it was like terminator style. I was storming a government facility with 2 chainguns in hand. I got blasted with an RPG, died, then came back to life and mowed down thousands of government officials.

I played a bit too much TFC and CS that night...

Holy

If that really happened that would be cool!!!

I was plagued with nightmares for a while, I'd be in my bed as I was and i can see around the room yet i cant move, you think your awake but your not. dreaming that your dreaming, I have this vibration inside my body which gets stronger the longer I stay asleep,to the point you think your gonna explode, im telling myself its only a dream and trying like hell to wake up. after I wake up I have to stay awake for 20mins as I have a habit of drifting straight back into it. another one I kept getting was having the feeling of someone touching me, either by holding me down or with their hand against my throat yet theres nobody there.

oh man, that sounds like ghosts.

or those things where (I don't know the name...) you are actually awake but you can't move or speak or do anything related to movement...

I always used to have nightmares. Mostly me being killed, or falling. I've had those dreams where you're floating above your sleeping body too.

Isnt that...called...sheesh, just went out my mind! Anyways, thats like, leaving your body and walking around isn't it...your soul is actually leaving the body  cool!! I wanna have that!

Can you and do you actually walk around when you leave your body?? If it's just a dream, too bad...I know someone whose soul left his body and he actually sleepwalked but without the body! Cool I think :sly:

I've gone past being killed in dreams, i've actually killed myself in a dream. It was a dream where I was in a hospital room, with a doctor and a friend, and there was a needle with poison in it. I got told not to inject myself with it, because it was going to kill me, but for some strange reason I wanted to anyway. I then injected myself in the arm with it and slowly died on the ground as the two of them stood there watching.

Could relate to back to my drug days, but the only thing I didn't do was needles, so that doesn't make much sense.

Those dreams always end about 7/8 of the way through the movie. They just end suddenly, for no reason.

It's as if my superego decided to fight with my id: "Whoa! You thought you could trick me when I was sleeping, didn't you? Don't think for a minute that's ever going to happen, you miserable simpleton!"

I had this terrible nightmare yesterday where I watched a documentary about an old woman who had a really nasty skin infection and was apparently a pornstar. There was no interaction in that dream, but it was still pretty nasty.

I have recurring dreams about impolite octopuses.

They never say please or thankyou. I wake up in a cold sweat.

This isn't really a dream, but isn't it weird when you all of a sudden get a falling feeling, and then you feel like you just fell on your matress?
