Your nightmares.

Sorry for the double post.

Had quite the dream last night that was abruptly distrupted by my dad waking me up for school. Oddly enough I tend to dream the most between 4-6am. I've been known to dream from 3am-whenever I wake up at 2pm.

Anyways, I forgot most of it throughout the day but I could remember it quite clearly. Here it is.

I remember it, for the most part like how I'm about to tell you but parts may have gotten a bit twisted.

So I was chilling at a Maiden concert, ironically enough as a Maiden fan (I never have dreams about this). But this concert wasn't like a normal one. It was kind of in a woods and there was a bit of snow and a road around it. You could drive behind and see them through the trees performing.

At some point things shifted and it was like an afterparty outside, same setting but in front of the low to the ground wooden stage. There was a bunch of skinny food tents set up and I was hanging out with Janick Gers. I then talked to Dave Murray for a bit and walked off with Janick.

Then the setting changed and I was now in an unfamiliar house, yet somehow I knew it like I'd been there. I could tell this by the way I seemed to know where everything was in the dream. Janick and I were talking and at some point he suggested that my band and I play for everyone. They didn't know how good we were so he said they were taking a risk. We are pretty good so it wasn't an issue. Me and him walked around this house looking for odds and ends and equipment I might need. He said we could use Maiden's gear and it wasn't a problem.

I never made it to the stage in my dream.

Now, things shift yet again and I'm with my uncle, presumably driving home. We are heading through my town, and I knew where we were and could pull it up on Google maps but in the dream the area wasn't, at least to my memory, as detailed as reality. We were in his Tahoe. We took a right and headed out towards the local Walmart and Home Depot.

This is where it gets strange.

As we were going a giant white light started on the horizon, flashed very bright blinding us and everything went white. In my dream it was equivalent to that feeling you get of a nuclear bomb going off and you know you are in the path and you know within seconds you are likely going to die.

That's how this was. Funny enough, nothing was destroyed, no one dead just that there was next to no detail in the world other than the road and a few odd buildings (you know in dreams when you can't really pinpoint detail you just know your there and it's happening). Something then happened, like I was trying to fix something or other but I can't quite remember that part...

That's when I woke up. I was like damn what just happened.

I remember this so vividly in such detail I could easily make a video of what actually happened in this dream.

Wait, what!?!?

Anyway, I had a nightmare in which all of my old friends replaced the new friends and my ex-GF died somewhere in the confusion... All I can remember from that dream was my ex's death. It was very graphic. There was this earthquake, and the ground came up from under us. All of us kept our balance, except my ex and she fell through and hit a ledge 20 feet below. Then there was a scream, and I woke up.... turns out, it was me who screamed. I never saw her again IRL :scared:

That thing has been haunting me ever since....

Well. I guess I could share. I'm not able to sleep, my schedule is messed up.

I had found an old friend during the summer time and I hadn't seen her since 5th grade. She moved to Spain because of her parents wanting to live near their relatives. I basically fell in love with her. We spent time talking and reminiscing of the times that we had and all of the things that we did in elementary school. While I couldn't physically go see her since I obviously can't afford tickets to Spain we sat up on Skype. It got to like 1-2AM in the morning my time so I decided to go to sleep and obviously that's when the nightmare started.

While this was relatively short it shot through my body and made me sweat right when I snapped out of it. It was just me and her on the beach, you know, nice surroundings, sun going down. I reached out to give her a hug and her body just turned into sand. Just disappeared into the ground. Probably one of the scariest most shocking dreams I've had in years.

The last bad dream I had that I can remember was a while ago, but I had a fear of heights for a while.afterwards. It was a double dream, the first one I was falling into a massive rocky pit, the "waking" up to find yourself in you're bed, which is falling into the same pit you just woke up from. Scared the crap out of me, but that was near the time when I stopped remebering my dreams so I at least have that.

This night: riding a bicycle at Road Atlanta and crashing in the pit wall because of the unexpected last corner. I was confused when I got up...

Oh, and another: 4 years ago I was in France and one night I dreamed a volcano eruption near Arche de la Defense... Yeah, no comment, right?

..... I would ask why, but dreams happen spontaneously....

Recent nights my dreams were about fender-bending. Not like crashing a car but just parking lot bruises :/ It's quite annoying.
I get those when I'm borrowing a friend's car for more than a day, or when I buy a new car. Indeed it is VERY annoying.

Wow, this is an old thread I forgot about. :P

I don't really get any nightmares anymore. Been like it for a few years now - just suddenly stopped.
