Do they push enough air? The ultra-silent, 120mm Yate Loon (Basically just slightly faster Nexus fans that haven't been rebranded yet) fans I'll be using in mine push somewhere around 40cfm - and I'll be using 3 of them - one for intake, one exhaust, and one for the PSU

Anyone look at the size of my heatsink.
It's not bad, but there's bigger, quieter, and more efficient ones out there than Thermaltake's :D

If you're looking for an upgrade, consider the Thermalright XP-120 (silent enthusiast's cooler of choice since fans are sold separately) or the Zalman 7700cu

I be glad when I get my replacement for my faultey PSU coming through then I can turn down the heatsink speed. But since its hot outside of the house I have my heatsink on full speed plus its not that loud.

Actually, I looked at the wrong post. You've got the Zalman - good choice :D

My newest rig, its under construction right now. Ignore the junk in my room right now, I'm in the process of cleaing out some stuff in the attic which is above my room. Anyways the computer right now has a stock Viao mother board, 1.6 Ghz processor, ATI graphics card, Creative sound card, 80Gb hard drive, 512 ram, and CD burner.

Upgrades to come: 3.0 Ghz processor, 2 Gb RAM, 300GB hard drive, new mother board, and DVR Dual layer buner. It's cheaper then a new computer. Also I have a 19inch flat screen coming.

Oh my god, you suck.

Grado 325's AND HD650's with ZU MOBIUS?!

Jeez. I envy you. Awesome room. 👍

That's not a DIY amp, is it?

Thanks, man. I know, it is overkill... that's my style :)

And about the headamp. Naw, it's not a DIY. Wish I was that good with electronics. It's a Musical Fidelity X-Can V3, check it up on their homepage if you like. Haven't really compared it to anything else but it's working great, especially with the Senns.

Why does people buy Intel P4 when AMD 64 thrashes it even the AMD 64 3000 is the same as a 3GHZ even if its speed looks different.

Intel chips run cooler, and are mostly better at audio/video encoding and rendering. And most big companies like HP and Dell use Intel.

Do they now? I don't know about the recent P4s but my friends' 3GHz CPUs tended to heat up to 50-55C with stock cooling idle. My A64 3000+ which surpasses their performance in games for instance, is as cool as 30-32C with stock cooling idle.
However their CPUs were prescotts, infamous for over-heating etc. I don't know about more recent models..

Erm you know AMD has got fastr at audi and video encoding plus it mainly depends at times on ram aswell. Also AMD are taking Intel to Court, for un fair sale tactics since they told Dell to only use Intel.

I can see Intel getting failing at court then getting shut down.

WIth my experience, Intl runs cooler than AMD, but then again, I don't have any facts to back that claim up.

do have facts to back that up, though

Intel is the clear winner in each of these tests of Audio/Video encoding. Still not convinced? Want any more unnecessarily large pics? I have more.

Lets not make this another "Intel vs. AMD" thread.

I should be able to post some pics of a recent computer I just built. Unfortunately there isn't any "Bling-Bling" installed, but it gets the job done.

Just setup the computer area with some new cabinets and organization. It supports two complete systems broadband access with an additional desk for a third station or DF wheel for GT4. It seems to be working out, although tonight is the first time to use it.
