EventIntel is the clear winner in each of these tests of Audio/Video encoding. Still not convinced? Want any more unnecessarily large pics? I have more.
17 inch LCDs suck major A when it comes to gaming. The companies have put all their resources on the larger panels which are more efficient to make. If you have to go 17 inch, go with an 8ms monitor. The 3 and 4ms screens very heavily sacrifice image quality for speed. IMO, the color depths and accuracy of image reproduction is far more important than crazy high response. Frankly, you will barely see any ghosting with even a 12ms monitor. 8ms will be more than sufficientTVR&Ferrari_FanEither Hyundai ImageQuest Q70U 17" LCD Monitor with 3MS or Viewsonic VX724 17" LCD Monitor with 4MS. - Waiting till Mid Next year or Late next year to get one of these.
What I need to ask which of those 2 monitors is the best for gaming, I know lower MS is better. But I need to know which has better value for money, image goodness and build goodness.
TVR&Ferrari_FanJust ordered:
G.Skill 2GB DDR ZX PC3200 (2x1GB) CAS2 Dual Channel Ram
Should be here this week, I be finally getting rid of 1 bad DDR2700 512MB Ram. While getting rid of just a silenty better DDR2700 512MB Ram aswell.
The next thing for me to upgrade will be the HDD. But I leave that after i get a new TV.
Jon.I didn't understand much of that, but perhaps you should invest in a new monitor in future, and not an overkill ammount of ram. I don't think i know anyone with such a high spec computer running games at 800x600, and normal windows at 1024x168. You're wasting that lovely graphics card of yours
