So that's now:

Round 1: Nissan Nismo GT-R at Silverstone
Round 2: Nissan Nismo GT-R GT3 at Brands Hatch
Round 3: Zytek Z11SN at Spa-Francorchamps

Which more then likely leaves us Round 4 with the Nissan Nismo GT-R LM at Circuit De La Sarthe.

Also:

Wait a damn minute...why the hell is this thread named with "for the Final GT Academy 2015" when its almost certainly Round 3? Its more then likely about to be incorrect as hell.

Yep, the title is officially incorrect. @FrzGT , change it NAO

You get 1.2 mil if your at day 1 so probably like 2.3 mil orso if your at 200%

This is when you get gold first time out tough

Great car, handling is phenomenal. The car is much more stable than LMP1 but that is probable due to lover power than LMP1... I wish that there is one or two more LMP2 car in game for better online races :)

Can it have it's power increased? And if so, to what?

Also, what are it's downforce values, default and maximum?

What I'm trying to find out is whether it can be turned into an at least semi-viable LMP1 competitor.

No at all as for the power upgrades im afraid.

The downforce is 480/600. Max is 600/800.

Competitive with furai, Mclaren F1 LM, and for some reason the GT5000 cars.

I ran a 2:07 at Spa on my second lap on RH tyres, the TS030 is still miles ahead performance wise, especially considering it only is rated at 623PP instead of 615PP for the Z11SN.

Car is probably a bit too quick in a straight line, even on max downforce. Handles great once you sort the setup out as the baseline one has a ton of understeer. The rear tyres look too narrow compared to the real car, I'm assuming that's just graphical though and not reflected in the performance.

This car has the relatively same PP, power, and weight as Alpine VGT Race.

Very competitive.

Depends on the track. The Alpine Race can be competitive on tracks that need a lot of downforce. On the other tracks the non race Alpine VGT (with racing tires) is a better choice because of the better acceleration and top speed. The Alpine Race Mode is too slow to be competitive on those.

Wheel users: Any changes with how PD tackles 1:1 in-game/real world wheel movement ?, or would I just see the same 180' of movement ?

I think I must check on that one when I arrive to home from my job later.

Edit: I know why many premium cars have same steer angle like 90' to DS3 and steer wheel equipments.

A less than mediocre time of 2'10.819 for 1,170th place atm. Really enjoying this combo, car is a real treat to drive here. Though this is just another meaningless round and I don't really car about the standings at this point and time, I may just stick a good amount of time in on this one and use this event as a tune up for the final round just because I like the car so much. Well done PD for giving us average drivers a great and easy car to drive in this round.

Is it my audio setup or does the Z11SN sound different in game than the gameplay video shows?

Wouldn't be a surprise, the hacked car was essentially an unpolished asset(like the hacked GT-R was last year).

Yet again those ridiculous toe values... Why? Just why??? Can anyone give me an answer?? After setting a decent time in the GT academy test, I tried with the car on practice mode with both toes set to 0 and I immediately improved 3 freaking seconds.
It just seems to be a tuning philosophy that Polyphony has. I can't speak for wheel users but on a DS3 the default toe settings make 95% of the cars understeer horribly.

Toe at 0/0 (followed by Camber at 0/0 but that's a debate that doesn't need to brought up again) are always the first 2 things I do to a car when I can tune it. That immediately neutralises most cars and makes them more fun for me to drive.

I do exactly the same except for powerful RWD cars and race cars like this Z11SN that I put a decent amount of rear camber to make it more stable.
And yeah, thats why I complain so much. They want us the DS3 players to get understeer all day. Its pathetic.

I compete with a racing club, and when we switched over to GT6 several of our regular drivers gave up after a single season because of how bad the stock settings are. We did a spec series for our 2nd season and lost half our regular drivers by the end.

There are very few cars in my opinion that work well in stock trim on a DS3; I've only come across 2 that are both fun to drive stock and also allow average DS3 users to be competitive with average wheel users.

I ran Spa 24H. Putting when the midfield cars pitted. I ran Semi- wets to start. Refueled at lap 3 to RM tyres. Long stinted to 6minutes left and switched to Wets. Pitted again when the front runners pitted for RH. Finished 6th on the final teobturns when the 787B ran wide on the wet edge of the track.

Missed the other 2 stages, but had a lot of fun going through them just now. Awesome car too, felt really comfortable driving it. Will gather up for some weekend endurance fun
