pmed you warrius....38 mil

no good though if your not that good at the game, and to be honest it kind of ruins the getting credits part.

Watched the replays from Mondays races. It was fun to watch Sparkz and Kings battle on Motegi, reminded me of all the battles Warrius and I had a couple of years ago in GT5. In the first race it looked like Warrius was trying to get a Yellow Flag going (correct me if I'm wrong). On Suzuka I suspect either Sparkz, RobinNova or both couldn't see each other (again correct me if wrong), or was it only confusion during yellow flag?

Kingklingeling I wasn't sure if I put you in the sand in the first corner on Suzuka, I was going to let you pass but you spun again so I don't know.

Anyway nice races all in all.

Everythings fine cobrius , just a normal race incident followed by my own stupidity . You did concede , fair enough

@cobrius yes I was trying to tell @KingKlingeling that if he fancied it, he could do a Yellow Flag despite being under pressure. He didn't seem to pick it up and since I made a real mess with Watermelon and Drandiiski at Brands Hatch, trying to do a mini Yellow Flag, I decided not to insist for the sake of the race.

So I was not asking for a Yellow Flag, I was just offering Kkg the opportunity (I was not trying to break my own rules!!).

I bought the Lotus yesterday and actually spun it right at the first corner. So it is more challenging then the car we had monday that's for sure. As I also bought the Golf GTI I compared both on the Silverstone course, and I am 100% certain you made the right call Warrius.

Looking forward to monday!

But untill that time: if anyone wants to try the car out on circuit and drive a few laps with me (so we both can adjust driving lines and get some overtaking possibilities out of the way) let me know what time you prefer (maybe tonight?)

Let's get something planned then shall we?

I suggest CET Time of 21:00 (that's 20:00 GMT if I am correct?)
Other suggestions are welcome as well, but by that time my kids are asleep! :-)

Yh we couldn't see each other i noticed in one of RobinNova's photos

Yes I noticed as well when I suddenly thought that you just might have left.
I am using a wired connection but will clear my cache prior to next race just to make 100% sure!

Maybe my PS3 and yours don't get along that nicely? :-)

Setting up a lobby now: Zero Cup Practise

made some laps with @KingKlingeling and was nowhere near as fast as him. Huge differences on driving skill with this car! But great fun and sometimes a big challenge. When the Lotus goes sideways it's hard to get it back in line again! (But that just might be me driving)

Most people are nowhere near as fast as him, most of the time...
And you're having trouble with the car because it's an MR. Don't lift off when turning. I know, I can't either...

I had a go at the Europa yesterday evening and indeed, it's trickier than I thought when I quickly checked it with the DS3. It will be a case of being patient and disciplined, at least in my case.

Note that I haven't changed the number of laps.

A maintenance is scheduled for Monday morning so be careful, there may be an update to install. If you can, check early if it is the case so we don't end up having to wait for people asking for a delay.

The gas pedal on my DFGT developed a problem. At first it did not register at all, then started, but fluctuating like mad. I hope it is just a matter of cleaning some dust or cat hair from the potentiometer. Will try and fix it today after work, but I'm not sure if I'll have the time or if indeed this is the problem. If it is in the cable or in the port in the wheel I'm not sure when I'll be able to race again. Anyone had a problem like this?
Also the pedals are indeed not that great and I can replace them with Fanatecs, but that combo will only work on the PC.

There is also the option of remapping another gas pedal by using a button. Not great at all, though...
I hope you get your gear fixed soon for your own enjoyment.

Edit: and no, I still haven't had any trouble with my DFGT.

When I am not pushing I can do some laps without too much problems.
But with that pace I am really a lot slower then my racingmate from Germany (like almost 10 seconds off from his best lap).

Then when I start pushing I can close the gap to around 4 seconds slower, but I hardly can complete a lap then without seeing my backend passing my front :boggled:

Then again... I found the previous car maybe a bit too easy to handle, with this one you are bound to move up spots by just racing a bit more carefull!

The answer is where you'd expect it... :)

Monday 10/3/2014 at 8pm GMT
Lotus Europa S.2 '68 - Comfort Soft - No TCS
Madrid: 11 laps
London: 17 laps
Silverstone Stowe (10:00 - random weather): 18 laps

Think we might have to call this race off because PlayStation have said there is a maintenance today from 4:30 to 22:00 GMT :(

Ok thank you and as king already knows I'm terrible at London. I will try to be careful but I will probably end up in a wall many times. I'm not very good at Madrid either and Stowe should be okay but I'm not sure.
