The BMW vgt is awesome. I wasn't a fan until I turned tc off. I forgot to switch it off during the seasonal :dunce:. I also drove it around the ring and at night too and it was really fun. It also bears a striking resemblance to the m4 coupe. Just look at sparkz pics and they do look pretty similar at least from the front.

I just had a go at Ascari with Sports Soft and it's quite fun...

EDIT: and I just realise that Third_Reign is the only driver currently racing in the Zero Cup who was around for seasons 1 and 2... That's a bit strange for me.

:Dyeah, but you forgot the massive amount of steroids they put into the VGT's body .

Megane Trophy '11 (and base model)?
There would be no tuning allowed, of course, and it would be on Sport Soft... ;)
I would love to drive this car :D
so ,buy it , paint it , get fresh oil and ss tires and don't change any settings :sly:
but there's no way to be sure everbody's on stock setting :odd:
I'll be , because anytime I touched any settings ,the car only got worser :mad:

My providers internet issues seemes solved , till next monday at least:crazy::D
so I'll join every zero cup in the future

Well true it's like an m4 on steroids. It was faster than I expected. I'd like to see the mercedes vgt race car and the bimmer vgt duke it out against each other. You know, I wonder if running a vgt race series would be a good idea once they release some more of them?

@KingKlingeling you put the doubt in my mind... :)

I had to check this morning, before going to work, and I can confirm that in a 'tuning prohibited' room, you can use such a car and the game won't let you go on track if you change one single setting by the smallest amount (checked with spring rate: the default value 12.10 was ok, 12.11 was not).

We'll drive the Megane, then. Your enthusiasm is enough to convince me it's the right choice.
I've already thought of some tracks. High Speed Ring Reverse and Bathurst. Feel free to argue about HSRR and to make suggestions.
(And now I realise that we went to Bathurst when racing the Megane RS for the season opener)

As for racing VGTs, I've been thinking about it since yesterday. But for now I only imagine driving a single car, and that would be the BMW.

Last thing. Are there any cars we've already used that you would pay to race with again or that you wish you hadn't missed?

Well yeah for now it would be only a one make race. Maybe later if a good amount of the vgts have competitive performance it might not have to be one make. We still need more of them before anything like that could be started up.

As for HSRR, I have no objections to it but I will no problem if it gets switched for something else. It's not the most interesting track but the last time we were there, we had an epic draft battle that went on for most of the race.

👍 To the idea of using ft1

PD need to release new tracks if not at least bring the old ones back Midfield Raceway, special stage route 11, the old Rome circuit, and some of these are my personal favorites, if they do this in the future that would be awesome!

Midfield! That's the name of that track. I forgot the name of it and its been bothering me for weeks! I loved that track. I also liked ssr11 also. Yes I rely wish they would bring back a lot of the old tracks like cittia di arria and costa di amalfi. Opera Paris and Hong Kong. Yeah I'd like a lot of them to make a comeback. Or if not add old ones back, add new ones.

What I'm waiting for is the custom tracks. This used to be one of the founding bricks of the early seasons.

When I drove the FT-1 I was not that excited. Maybe I should have another go...

And the Hyundai is my pick as well for a replay.

Did you drive the FT-1 on SH? Because I remember using that car in a seasonal event at Fuji and I couldn't get around a corner without sliding once, it rakes skill to drive that car well on SH anyway not sure about SS

Who remembers the Super soft tyres, these also had an unrealistic amount of grip:scared:

Sorry can't race tonight, my TV upstairs is broke and needs looked at:nervous: So until its fixed I might not be there next week:ouch:

On the plus side, I'll have all these updates to download:D

Have a fun race guys:tup:
