Great racing last night guys! Somewhat of a personal high for me. Two third places and very few mistakes and bumps. The car felt great on the SS tires, but tire wear got me by the end of Suzukas' race. But man I love those tracks! All in all can we say it went better than expected with this type of car?

I've been practicing nurburgring so I better not miss this one. I've just been busy lately. I can't believe it took me 8 years to finally remember nurburgring . I just had to race on it a bunch of times in a row to memorize it. I never did that before because I was too bad at the track before but I've improved my skills and although they will never of the scales of kingklingeling, longbowx, sparkz, litchi sorry if I leave the other aliens out. I'm not very familiar with you guys yet. Anyway I felt like I could race nurburgring and now I've remembered it finally.

Boy that sounds crazy ridiculous. Nurburgring is hard enough to race in any fast car. I drove a huayra there once and it was tough. I also tried taking the diablo gt2 there once and I've gotta say that that car is the most undrivable car in the entire game! It was awful to drive that thing. I'd rather do this than drive that thing. If you ever decide to use that car for the zero cup for some reason I will definitely not be there. Sorry about my rant but that car really is horrible . If even go as far to say that I would rather drive the red bull fan car than drive that thing

On another note, the senna content won't come out until later this week

Thanks. I like it more than the old brands better. That turn after Druids is much smoother and easier and more of the course is covered in grass so going off isn't as painful.

Since this cup started have we raced on Monza before? I love that track would you mind picking the 80's version of Monza for the 3rd race for the Ford Focus ST?

I don't really like Monza, which is why we haven't raced on it yet (there are other tracks I don't like that we used so it's just a question of time).
The newly available old layout is nicer so we'll use it.

But not with the Focus. The reason is that, I don't know if it reflects the reality, but the 5th gear is painfully too long, it ruins the fun, so I'm only picking tracks on which we don't have a chance to use 5th gear at all.

I got gold everywhere fairly easily until the very last one. I gave up for now with a 1:08.9. I really struggle with turn 1.


Edit: and yes, it's a nice content, just a bit short. Nice on the ears...

I found Monza easy, with a 1:22.7.

Monza was fairly easy the car is scary though.

So we can go unrealistically fast in this video game because I doubt anyone of us could actually beat Sennas time in real life.

My guess is that the difference is in the tyres.

Yeah but don't we get sh for the events and wouldn't f1 drivers use a soft compound for qualifying?

The racing tyres in the game are reported to have a lot more grip than their counterpart in real life.

Also we have the ability to push things and crash many times before finding one perfect lap.

loved the second car he used, actually hated the john player black car even though i bought it for 3 mil....Senna was and is a Legend, i still remember that day

Hi guys! I’m not sure if I’ll participate tonight. It was a six working days last week and I did not get any rest or practice on Sunday. I’ll try to get a nap and put some laps after work because I really don’t want to miss Nurburgring, but I can promise.
The Senna content is great. Short but well done. The one thing that sucks is that you can do only single laps. You can’t just lap as you do in the seasonal events and that really breaks the flow. Got gold only on Monza and I can’t be bothered to restart every lap to get the others.
Also I have been racing NASCARs in career mode and then the Bently Speed on the final iA championship and now I’m on the S license tests. And there is a new VGT car too. And there is the Zero Cup! Been having so much fun in the last week with GT6 that I now remember why I got a PS3/GT5/6. I have been missing a sim like that on the PC.

I like the john player car, reminds me of Nortons in the late 80s, ridden by Ron Haslem. Will have a go at the test, but if I can't drive it, will just have to buy it

Had a lot of fun today, great race (especially at the Nordschleife! ). AWD cars and I don't really get along so I'm fairly satisfied.
