Great races last night racers! I was surprised to win at Monaco not really a big fan of that track, nearly lost it in the last lap...

RedBull Ring I actually started the race on CS maybe that was the reason I couldn't keep up with hain and gtp.

Grand Valley I was surprisingly consistent throughout.

I really enjoyed the Lotus much better car to drive then it was in GT5 I'll never forget that top gear event....

You're right, that Lotus is better than it was in GT5.

Good races, despite that it's still one of my least favourite cars EVER. I was surprised.

For some reason it feels like racing that car is like scraping sandpaper across the pavement.:odd: I find that it doesn't "feel like" driving a car :boggled: - Not sure how to describe this.
But that feeling is less pronounced in GT6 than in GT5.

Anyway, you know I'm so careful to always race as cleanly as possible. I really get nervous about the Cote D'Azur chicane, because for many (me included) this is a big pet peeve (and rightly so).
So I try very carefully not to cut it by accident :nervous:, because I worry someone might think I'm cutting and get angry behind me.

During the warm-up laps before the race, I was testing my brake point for the chicane, and dived into it in a ridiculous fashion and crashed just before Drex behind me, and he came through and saw this.:rolleyes:
And then when Drex made the comment in chat about me "cheating" :scared:... I at first wondered if he was accusing me of cutting the chicane!! :nervous: I was practicing so that I would NOT cut the chicane in the warm-up!! (This wasn't qualifying so it didn't matter, after all.)

So in the race, when 2 cars crashed beside me in the chicane (no fault of mine I think), and I had to steer over the chicane to avoid being involved in the crash... I felt very awkward about it. :guilty:
Even though I had no choice.
If I didn't steer over the chicane, I would've hit the 2 cars which had crashed and made a bigger obstruction in the track. :ill:
But I'm so trained to maneuver the chicane properly, that even though in this case it wasn't, driving over the chicane seemed so wrong.
And I didn't want anyone to think I would cut the chicane!!! :ill:

Very much looking forward to next event. Two of my favorite tracks and the car is tame enough to be pushed around the ring with relative confidence.

Good racing today, sorry about the first lap havoc on the Nurburgring:nervous:

I had a sticking throttle, first two races, so was going more quickly, no feel now I removed the ball.:odd:

Good races last night! A few bumps here and there, especially on SPA. I was on the giving and receiving end, but nothing too bad I think. That ring is so narrower when you are not alone.

And one more thing – DAYUM! You guys are fast! I could hardly believe how quickly you got me on tracks that I was feeling confident and faster than usual..

GR!
