I was beaten to diesel MBs, but the Mercedes W123 240D can run on about anything for a very long time.

Then there's the Kawasaki KLR650, even the Marines and Special Forces use these, adapted to run on diesel.

But to go do battle, what would be more frightening to zombies than a psychotically grinning, turbocharged monster?

I EAT ZOMBIES!!!

Cause you can drive away from them with heaps of style, and even if they caught you they'd go up in flames.

I'd have to start out with the Volkswagen Touraeg. Its record on the Dakar rally makes it ideal because common sense dictates that the most isolated places will be the best places to hide from zombies. Depending on where the outbreak starts, the best place will probably be somewhere in Tibet or western Mongolia. Maybe the Russian Far East; Kamchatka Peninsula cannot be accessed by road, which would also be good. On the other hand, if the outbreak begins in Asia and/or eastern Russia, then central Africa or South America will be the places to hide out in. Whatever the case, the Touraeg should be able to get there with relative ease.

German 'Schwerer Gustav' 800mm Rail Gun

German Maus Tank

Both of these are real - the rail gun was designed for ultra-long-range artillery bombardment. The only time it was used was the siege of Sevastopol, though. The tanks were built in 1944 - only two concept models were ever made. Canadian forces promptly destroyed one, and the other ended up in a Russian museum (see above)

So yeah, if the zombies are invading I want FIREPOWER!!!!:sly: You can never go wrong with big guns - I'll install a staircase for the zombies that leads right to the barrel...💡

Dunno if these strictly qualify as 'cars' but all the same...

I would choose a Dartz Kombat T98 which is a $1.5M Russian Armour Plated Bullet Proof SUV. Take that Zombies!

Even she doesn't stand a chance

Robin.

I would love to ride these right above my post.

My choice would be this, though:

Troller T4.

First of all, it has a turbodiesel engine which is reliable and sturdy as a rock, the chassi is copied based on the very same unit underneath the legendary Jeep Willys, wide attack angles and a really useful snorkel, very clever to cross those wonderful rivers that cannot be crossed by zombies. ( Unless they are triathlete zombies )

Inside, it has cheap plastic parts that can be easily cleaned ( c'mon, it's zombiepocalypse but that doesn't mean you can't wash your car... ), decent air conditioning, power assisted steering and enough space for two people, rifles and ammo.

Hell, even the name is cool. :D

They see me trollin', they hatin'....

I'd go for this:

If the road's too rough for that, and if I'm on a killing spree, then I'll just go with this:

But this would be the most sensible choice, since this one is common in the streets of the Philippines:

Unimog. We've got one for work with a small crane/lift on the back, and a giant snowblower on the front. The snowblower would be perfect for chewing up zombies.

If it's capable of surving arctic temperaturs and an active Vulcano, I think it should be able to do well during a zombie invasion - I'll just drive somewhere where a zombie can't reach me... Frozen bodies aren't very good at chasing people around, or so I've heard :D

back+to+the+future.jpg

Drive 88mph and time travel back to a time before the Zombie Apocalypse, And somehow prevent it from happening.

This is what I thought too...until I thought of time paradox. :ill:

My choice is this...

rinspeed-squba31.jpg

The Rinspeed sQuba.

It can drive on or under water, and it can drive itself. Zombies can't really follow you down there, can they?

And yes, it is an electric Lotus Elise. :irked:

Actually C-ZETA brings up a good point. Does it have to be a car? Given a zombie apocalypse, I'd find the nearest shoreline, find a boat, and get the hell off dry land.

1999_mazda_miata.jpg

Really? Nobody thought of the greatest zombie car ever? The Mazda Miata? Sheesh guys. :sly:

I'm sorry, the Miata can't win this one. That other guy posted a Elise that can go underwater man, and we all know that Zombees can't go underwater. :P

It's german so it's good.
It's a Porsche so it's fast.
It's a Dakar winner so it's reliable.

And if I need to flee to a snowy mountain:

And this because it looks cool.
