ummm, did you even check out the first post of the thread?

there's 5 settings already posted....
of course, 3 have aids, and 1 is arcade mode... but I'm sure that Sheron's work well.

If nothing else one of them should give you some point to start from.

Beginner + Lots of Power = Slow progress. Start out with something with less hp and learn how to shift the weight of the car. Any silvia, RX7, trueno, or other moderate FR car would be good. AWD drifting is more simple then FR. I suggest you learn FR/MR first.

As posted on IDM :

CUSCO ADVAN Subaru Impreza JGTC (2003)
Exhibition settings (race capable)

430 PS
N1 tires
Stage 3 turbo

Springs: 12.0 / 6.0
Ride: 75 / 82
Bound: 7 / 2
Rebound: 8 / 4
Camber: 3.5 / 0.4
Toe: 0 / -2
Stabilizers: 3 / 1

Brakes: 3 / 12
Downforce: 30 / 21
LSD: 20/50/10
Ballast: 50 / +50

VERY grippy car.. took a lot of forcing to make it driftable, but the result was a very stable car capable of very high speed drifts. The added power and ballast isn't totally necessary, but they help making it a more rewarding drift car. Brake, lift and feint combinations are my preferred techniques with this car.

To make it compatible with a bigger turbo, I suggest tightening up the rear a bit.. though this car has a lot more power than you need.

And swift.. the impreza JGTC is FR ;)

My fourth post in 5 months, lets hope I can get my steez back...

Ride Height: F - 92 R - 99
Shock Bound: F - 6 R - 7
Shock Rebound: F - 5 R - 5
Camber: F - 2.5 R - 2.0
Toe: F - -2 R - 0
Stabilizers: F - 3 R - 4
Driving Aids Off
Ballast Weight: 150
Front/Rear Balance: -50

Other Notes:

The car can power oversteer to step the rear out at mild speeds but shows understeer when trying to get the rear end loose when all the weight is shifted towards the rear when going straight. The car favours a more feint style and also the steering whilst under braking works quite well now that I've put the ballast in the front, that's the crucial part to this car. It's got a very linear feel to it whilst mid-drift and can sustain high angles with long distance.

One of my more controllable, complimenting setups.

Hope you have fun driving and tweaking,
Eddie.

ske thanks for the setup, works great!

RUF BTR (1986) - As posted at IDM
Exhibition settings (race capable)

Camber: 2.5 / 1.2
Toe: 0 / 0
Stabilizers: 3 / 2

Brakes: 3 / 8
Downforce: 0 / 0
LSD: 20/40/20
Ballast: 0 / 0

Gears: Auto 7, 2nd gear ratio 2.000

Amazing drift car, very flexible, predictable and stable. Definitely a favorite of mine right now, and right up there with the Sileighty when it comes to easy handling. Slight feint and/or brake as usual for me, but this car can handle power over/lift as well.. it's good from any angle really (pun intended ;) ).

The springs are harder than usual for me to help minimize the quirks of RR handling, but I think it can handle softer rates as well

This car is easier to control with this setup for me. Drifts good for my tastes. Steering was with the analog stick. alternate setup to come

This setup makes the car easier to control on the wet track surface. This setup can be used for either exhibition or racing. I left the S3's on to aid in manuverability.

comments:
This is an exhibition only setup. Analog steering is a must on this one. This setup is a lot of fun to drift with. The power-over technique and the standard e-brake drift techniques are what I found works well with this setup

These are the competition settings that I came up with. For this setup, i put a bit more direction and control in it than the exhibition setup.

This is what I got so far. This one is a work in progress. This is my second use of standard tires on a D1GP machine. Speed control is a key to car control with this setup so far. Feel free to try it out and make any mods to it that you needto and share them; cause I am trying to get it comfortable for me.
