I didnt think Fraps effected FPS, but i wasnt gonna put my arse on the line as i didnt test it.

Conclusion, the exact same ****ing framerate! Now stop giving us the excuse that FRAPS lessens your framerate and give up some screenshots with FRAPS running.

Nice try but it can affect some PC's when they are busy. Also UT2004 is not memory hungry like modem day games, like COD2, Fear and BF2. Plus you can always lower some stuff in game, which makes it look the same at its highest setting.

Anyway more COD2 screens up on Wednesday or Thursday guys.

Edit: On a personal note: Stop stalling. Your just making excuses to keep your lame-o C.O.D 3 FPS screenies on your own computer. Just quit being a little girl and show us the screens. Im calling BS until I see the frames.

I did not say i had a big bad PC. I don't spend as much, plus i get more frames then 3FPS in COD2.

And remember some games do look nearly as they do in the highest setting, it is just down to what settings you choose. Plus you can buy software to speed up your PC for games, while running fraps. Another thing you can close down programs and pretend Fraps does not affect stuff while it is not recording.

One more thing you got to remember this I proved Shannon wrong about removing 2 different dimms of DDR2700 ram, then upping it to 2 Dimms of Dual Channel 3200 Ram that are both the same can help get way more frames. Like in games and benchmarks.

No it is true there is software and you can lower some setting which will not affected the look of a game. And if you don't belive me about software which can help in game frames, then check here:

Plus I will not post the screens up now, since i have work in the morning. And people would not play games on there highest setting, if they could not because of low frames like below 20 or 25.

Another thing to show fraps can affect your frames, well read this:

But when they mean System configuration, sometimes they mean what programs are running in the background. In other words UT04 is not memory hungry, but UT07 most likey will be memory hungry.

You keep saying about this speed-boosting crap, thats not even the subject.

The subject is how your lying about your frames. I don't care about your software, OK? We want your screenshots. And yet again your making another excuse as to why you shouldn't post shots. Look, your on right now, correct? Obviously you have time to get some screenies.
 
I do not get poor frames, a year ago i would of. But remember my ram has helped me boost my frames up, and if I can see stable frames.

Then I know i can see stable frames in COD2, your not the one on this side of the monitor so you cannot see the stable frames i am getting. Plus non memory hungry games will get more frames, then memory hungry games. UT2004 is out of date, and its graphics engine does not use the lastest graphics coding.

If you and Shannon do not have anything to say which will add to this review, then do not reply plz. Shannon knows he was proved wrong, when he thought my old ram would allow me to play in high settings on most games.

When in fact my old ram was not good ram, which caused me to use lower settings for more frames. I will prove Shannon wrong about my frames. Aswell as my graphics card having a bios of its own.
 
Fraps takes 5mb of RAM AT MOST!! you have 2gb!!!, even BF2 doesnt even use 1gb.

Quit stalling and talking BS.
 
Anyway why are we arguring about fraps!!, you could just use a command to get the fps's to show!!

"But oh batman, that's so complicated!", "My print screen button wont work!" , "I'm paralyzed from the waist up!". I'm guessing you're going to be resorting to these excuses next. Just either:

1. Quit being a liar and tell us the truth.

2. Prove to us your not lying.

I made a 8min 40 vid and it was 4 - 5gb at 46fps, 1280x1024 resolution, and it basically had no lose in sound or video!. Though once I put it through windows movie maker the resolution got cut in half, and running at 1.5mbs and it was down to 92mb and 30fps. Looked so much less detailed, but then again it was 92mb vs 5gb :lol:

Fraps worked fine for me... got FPS all over the place. I set it to take continuous pics and there wasn't any slow down at all. I don't think I even went below 30 with it on. I did a vid and it was even better no disturbance. Hell, if you ask me the stupid ping or the auto save disrups the game more than Fraps. :grumpy:

Well im just sick of this guys utter bull. He is lying straight out of his anal cavity and he knows we've all found out. I'm probably never going to trust this guys judgement again. He seriously need to ball up and apologize unless he DOES have some proof to show us. If your not lying, I'm still not going to apologize because you've been an ass to everyone (and more-so to Shannon). Hopefully you decide to do what is right for once. Just let me tell you this if your actually lying: Having a nice video card doesn't make your penis bigger, or make us respect you more. Having a great attitude and being honest will. Trust me, lying is NOT the way to go about getting respect. Take it from me, I've had experience, and had to learn the hard way. I'm trying to save you the trouble of being shunned on by every forum in the universe, but if you decide to not heed my advice, so be it. Just don't say I never tried.

While I would hate to go off-topic in a thread which obviously has so much going on in it at the momement I would like to ask this; how do I find out how many rep points I have?

Anyway posting in this thread should bring it to the top, who knows perhaps its creator will notice and acknowledge its existence, perhaps even post in it with some screenshots of FRAPS running.

Edit: Nevermind, I just found out how to view my rep points and since you guys seem fated to never learn the true performance of TVRandFerrari fan (or whatever he's called) I'll post a FRAPS screenshot myself.

Oh believe me, i know what TVR&Teletubbie_handbag is like. There's a ton of threads where he goes on about how he's going to do something, never does, and then comes out with bulls*** reasons why he hasn't. I've been the main person shouting at him in a few of them, but not anymore. Basic rule: I don't talk to teletubbies. It's still interesting to pop in and watch who's doing it now though. Some things never change.
