We haven't done Tokyo reverse, but you don't count it among city tracks, do you ?

tokyo is just as much a city track as is ss5 so that's welcome. ponder about a car: spyker or seat never saw wrs did they?

Spyker and Seat have only one car... But the Spyker is a nice car.

Tokyo, it's got too much of a real course to be a city-course. It's kinda like Trial Mountain, only simplified... I only count those peskier tracks as city-tracks. Hong Kong is the top "citytrack", NY, Seoul, and the rest of the tracks that actually feel like a city. Citta di Aria and Costa di Amalfie, well, I consider them as something like a mini-Nurburgring.

What's all the hate against FF? The only time when FFs get terrible is when they're badly set-up, or are overpowered (almost everything above 200BHP). However, the smaller ones can be a great fun...
 
Yes I know that, one of my best cars are a FF(Honda ACT Z:D).
But I have found that most people would like to drive a FR car
more than a FF car. As for do I hate them, no not at all.
 
On the last LAN we drove the Trial Celica SS-11 (Tuner car)
on Grand Valley reverse.
A very cool combo ,FF car,and with stock HP(276) and medium tires.

You will get very spectacular replays if the TCS would be banned.
My point of view is always that people can make free choices in their driving aids so it is only an option which the race administrator can ignore or follow.

Actually I believe the Spyker was used in the WRS for a week when someone filled in for flat-out during a Board Challenge (recently and I apologize for not remembering and honoring the name :bowdown: ). :D

Suitable subs for GV reverse are (IMO) Motegi, Ring, TOKYO246 ;) ;)

I've been watching the Road Atlanta race too. 👍 Still can't quite get my head around a diesel running at the front. I remember when we were all called petrolheads. :D

My LMP car of choice would have to be one of the Pescarolo cars but as for doing it at Grand valley or the ring. :eek:

Motegi would be good. ;););)

I think the weeks Colby took over we did the Proto motors Spirra, I'm probably thinking of the wrong week but you might be mixing that up with the Spyker Kent? :confused: I'm probably wrong though. :dopey:

Nope, actually I think you are right.
I was going through my garage to find something to race (to earn money) and the Spirra went by, I thought to myself that it may have been that car and not the Spyker.

Makes me wonder if we've done the Spyker. For some reason I still have the feeling we have but I don't know. :confused:

Regarding the suggestion... Pescarolos are alright in my book. 👍 I wouldn't mind running Motegi either (awesome course in my opinion). In any case, the idea of LMPs is on the table so I've done my part! :cheers:

I'm pretty sure that was the Proto Spirra car. We havn't used the Spyker yet.
 
Yes it was the Proto Spirra car as I ran that WRS race.
And about Motegi race track, I can drive that with no problems
because I did alot of testing on that track.

About the suggestions :
GV reverse was used in week 60, and an LMP car in week 66 (Toyota GT-One). Since I'm away on monday, I'll have to post race #76 tonight (GMT time), I'll see what I can manage.
And both Motegi and the Spyker already are in my plans for october :mischievous:
 
Has the Suzuki GSX-R/4 ever been used? Because I would race that week
even if the world was going to end. And one more thing, I'm now over 1000 posts:D.

if i did my homework well, the mine's skyline has never been used. why not program that? i'd say gt mode (off course), s3 tyres, and the track ... well as long as it is no dirt or city i'm a happy man.

the car is the best of all the 100's skylines present in the game, only rivalled by the 'nur version of nissan. and the tuning is a challenge of itself.
 
Hmm... I looked through the list of unused tracks, and thought, perhaps, a multi-lapper around Twin-ring Motegi West or Foogee '80s. It's the only suitable use I can see for them. Motegi West is just too short for anything but the Sunday Cup. I wonder why they even bothered to put a pitlane in there...

Steven seems like a GT Mode fan.. While I like tuning, and trying different "styles" of the car (Hard, Soft, Smooth, sudden), I prefer Arcade for OLR - simple, honest and equal.

Cars: How about a TVR? Sounds like heaven, its' the proof that PD actually recorded the cars, rather than synthesizing. Tuscan Speed 6 :drool:.
Or... another non-race Concept-car? I'd love to see some of the weirdo concepts in action. Mitsubishi HSR, Honda DualNote, Or some other weirdo with "Concept" in the name... Perhaps even the Toyota Triathlon or Nike '22?
Or... though not really possible, since we've done the 'Ring on Week 74, the Auto Union Streamline? The Super-weirdo on the Super-track. Casio will have some extra excuses... Or the test-course? It'd be dead-boring, but still... A possibility? It'll be the closest-ever WRS, I reckon that the only thing that will seperate people will be not the Division (WHAT can go wrong on such a track? Where's the time to loose?), but perhaps by controller - DFP will receive a smoothness-bonus, I guess.

Dome Zero is a problem, since a lot of people don't have all golds in the IA licence. And a lot of people also don't have a MaxDrive to get a 100% Save...
 
maybe something completely different...

ie. a Huge NASCAR like sedan around Motegi Superspeedway (no im not a nascar fanboy but i'd imagine that be a close wrs, and a race or the tuning kind if done in GT mode, or maybe the F1 around the superspeedway.. ala the IRL??

Any other track I don't care to nominate simply because of love a random track being picked (with me being totally oblivious to the possibilities as the week approaches).

if you haven't had enough input, here is a list of my 5 all time favvie cars and tracks to pick from.

cars: gtr racer, shelby series 1, cerbera, hsc, evo tme

tracks: le mans 2, el capitan, forest, apricot hill, valley

but on the other hand i am with kent when he says
