I'd love to see a race with the Renault 5 Maxi Turbo Rally Car. (Preferably arcade mode, on a tarmac course) Failing that either of the RWD Nissan Rally Cars 👍 (Again arcade mode, with no power modification, on tarmac.)
 
Even though we did it really recently. I think we should give a fond farewell to Suzuka becuase of it's exit in Formula 1.

So what could be more appropriate than the Formula GT at Suzuka.

And although I absolutely despise Fuji 2005, it might be interesting just because that's where F1 will be next year.
 
true about spa being belgian but they all do french over there so i group it with the other lovely centre-west race tracks.

oh and i forgot OFF COURSE the ultra-great audi le mans concept car in gt4 which is now coming to life IRL as the audi r8 as an absolute favvie. check out this site for it. helas for it the evo tme has to go.

Oh yeah... I hear one great combo coming up. As long as it's not overpowered (since most of 'em are FF), it's good...

I'll post the combo tonight when I'm back home.
For the first time I directly selected a car and track from my personal favs. And I think it will please the aliens much more than the rest of us. :mischievous:

I'm no alien but this sounds fun to me.
Despite using the roofcam these days, I still love combos like Nurburgring and McLaren F1, so whatever you've got for us Cyril- I can handle it. ;) :mischievous: :lol:

I'm just glad to see you posted one of your favs and not something else based on the same stuff you use every week to decide. Good for you Cyril. :cheers:

I just hope you also managed to do the french/french combo as well (since I don't think you ever did one). In any case...

If it's a French/French combo, and Cyril's personal choice.......?

It's gonna be Le Mans (Circuit De La Sarthe)!

And either the Renault racecar or either of the Pescie's.

That's my opinion anyway!

My choice is a french car but not a french track. And the combo is fun to me at least.

Hmm... What kind of combo scares away only D2 drivers?

Your work is another kind of work - and since Schumacher didn't race according to OLR rules (AI contact?), he doesn't deserve a tribute :indiff:

But the important thing is, that you find that combo fun - and for the first time in ~50 weeks, you can really race.

Does this mean I'll have some company down the lower end of division 2 this week Cyril? It'll be good to rub shoulders/wheels/mirrors with WRS royalty before you take your break. :D

While I'm in here I think I'll suggest something for Colby our new steward for his first week although I suspect he's probably got it covered already...

How about the FPV Typhoon? An Aussie car to signal the dawn of a new era in the WRS.

Well, it is artificial, and it is intelligent - therefore it's AI.

Lots of free time this week - it's just between the tests.. So you'll have company from below :P

To Colby: Take a car you like on a mighty track - something fun tough. FPV sounds fun, but please - heavy pigs in GT Mode, so we can get that understeer out of them...
 
We used the FPV one week on Suzuka West (Or East, whichever one has the 130R) on N-Tyres, that was a blast, one of the best weeks ever.

We haven't used the Commodore SS yet?
 
What we need is a big heavy car at a tight twisty track, like an oddysey at citta d'aria, or a tank car at cote d'azur.
On a side note, I had a new WRS idea in the Enthusia forum. Maybe Cyril can take that over ;)
 
Sorry, I do have Enthusia but stopped playing at the licence using the 206 WRC on the dirt indoor track. Just don't like it much.

As far as suggestions are concerned, I've always wanted to post a race using the Nike One Concept Car. My first impression about that car was very negative, but having read Phil Frank's posts in this thread, I gave it a second go and actually quite like it now.
It's pretty difficult to find a track for an interesting combo, since the car can't be tuned and tops at 250 km/h. The track has to be rather twisty. Tsukuba wet perhaps ?

I suggested the Nike car on autumn ring mini. Shorten up the gears and shift away.
 
maybe a NICE city track such as ss5 or tokyo NON reverse would do for the nike car. but both have been used recently. costa di amalfi then?
 
Keep those suggestions coming folks, they will be VERY useful to me in the coming weeks :sly: 👍 Keep in mind we need variety too so GT-Mode vs Arcade, Tyre preferences, Single vs Multi lappers, drivetrain preferences etc...the more ideas the better 👍
