That Daihatsu I don't know that it only comes in one color because I've never played with it.
Why is it that so many people neglect the little cars. That was the first car I jumped in.

I'm guessing it's because it's not 250HP+, high-powered cars are the only ones that deserve to be driven.

You know, it isn't the size of the engine that matters, but how you drive your car. :sly:

*sigh* Lost cause. I'll just go win another 150 point A-spec race in GT4 now.

Honestly, I don't really like the black portion under the grill. Makes the front grill look larger than it actually is. Vertically-elongated grills are great as long as its done right. Like what newer Audis have done, Chrysler with the 300, and a lot of other cars and makes I can't name. Now I actually got to see some YouTube videos of yet-to-be-unveiled cars. What would be an interesting touch in Gran Turismo 5 (eventual release) is that when you win a car as a prize, it's wrapped up and unveiled to you. Even if it's a tuned version (remember tuner car shows where new rides are unveiled?), it would be an interesting touch.

I'm still very behind on GT5: Prologue. So I'll catch up on information about this deal as much as I can. Here's what I found on that Daihatsu OFC-1: < http://www.worldcarfans.com/9070911.029/daihatsu-ofc-1-concept-world-premiere >. It's told to be a Copen with a change. It looks less dopey than the Copen, but not as stylish a sports car. My Kei sports car would either be the old Mazda AZ-1 or the Suzuki Cappuccino. Sorry to venture off-topic here, but I wanted to get that across.

I was being sarcastic there, ya know...

Well, the memo talks about unveiling events, so I hope it creates some kind of fanfare and doesn't just let me wander into the showroom and find it for myself.

Do you have a PS3? You need to get one if you don't. So far 80% of my friend's list is GTP members from the UK that are rarely awake when I get home from work.

:ouch: Sorry, too many people do think like that and so the sarcasm and the serious statements all look the same on screen.

Am i retarded or were they supposed to be released today ?
Today was the presumed day, but they are running on a Japanese schedule and they may be coordinating with the TMS. The end of day for TMS today and tomorrow is 18:00, so whatever 18:00 in Tokyo is would be about the time I gave up hope.

Right now it is 4:18 in Tokyo. The show doesn't open until 9:00. so you still have nearly 5 hours for the earliest possible unveiling to happen, by my guess.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HURRY YOU DAMN CAR SHOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Does anyonw know what time tokyo auto show start, then we can estimate for our time zone when they will released. Also will we get new tracks ?

I just hope they unveil it/them before I go to bed (still it will be really late, it's past 8pm here)

Ok, thanks.👍

I don't think we will get any more tracks, but we have to wait and see.:)

Nowadays 25hp is no where near high powered, and a lot of people don't car about the Daihatsu because it's slow and boring as hell. If I wanted a fun, low-powered car I'd hop into an AE86 which I hope they eventually include.

Unveiling news

The GT-R in the game won't be ready due to the delay of unveiling the real GT-R in Tokyo Motor Show 2007.

On October 24 around 2:30 PM the GT-R should be ready again along with Lexus IS F and Mazda Atenza Sports.

Cheers,

MasterGT

No, the earliest we'll be racing on new tracks I think will be GT5:P.

So, we will probably get the Subaru today?

Cool, even the Tokyo Motor Show has delays when cooperating with PD...

Now that's realistic. :D:tup:

I assume this is Tokyo time, in which case then it would be in just over 6 hours from now?

BTW: I know this is going to sound silly to some... but I have come to really like the look of the silk covered cars... I hope PD will have an option to "cover" your cars in your garage. (besides, it would help protect the finish from dust) :D

Seriously though, I really like the look of having the cars covered. It would be a fun option to have to be able to cover your cars. 👍

Not that silly, but to expand on that idea, show case the power of the PS3 and allow you to adjust the lighting and wind sources (fans or opening and closing windows) to show off the lighting and physics engines....
