No, he was talking about the Lexus IS-F, because the Ferrari F430 doesn't have a V10 it has a V8.
Good point... but the Lexus also has a V8... so between the two at least the F430 has a HP closer to 500 than the Lexus. :)

Either way.. one thing is clear, his post wasn't. :)

I also first thought that lexus in game is LF-A, the one with 500Hp V10. I had not seen photos of LF-A unmasked by then.
LF-A:

Likely LF-A is also in GT5.
I love that car! New footage of it is also on the latest video available on GT-TV from the Tokyo Motorshow. 👍

That's true, the Lexus IS-F has a V8 too, so the car he was talking about with a V10 and 500HP might just be the BMW M5.

Can't say i like the IS-F although for what it is its not bad, after all its not exactly going to be a Lotus Exige round the corners. The power delivery seemed ok though.
Personally by far my favourite car to drive of the bunch is the BMW 135i. Plenty of power and acceleration but most of all i love its handling. I love the way you can always feel that the car could easily go into a powerslide should you so wish, I've been taking a whole new line round 130R with it by putting two wheels on the grass on the outside before turning in, allowing a huge 'dirt drop' drift as its called, and with so much run off with road surfacing it doesnt matter if you run it a little wide.

I really don't like the GTR. It always feels too understeery. I've tried it on Sport tires and Racing tires and it always seems to understeer, I much prefer oversteer to understeer. I do like how the car looks though, and its making history already. I've never liked a Skyline before.

I agree about the understeer bit. Is it just me or did the "Black Mask" version not understeer half as bad? But it certainly is beautiful. And it was really nice to finally see it in a color other than silver. Red looks fantastic.

i just saw the latest gt-tv vid and there's a bit there where ir says the gt-r has 480hp. that's quite a leap from every previous gt-r's...
can't wait to see a nismo (or other good tuner) pumped-up version of it, should be just mindblowing. 👍

I'm sure too that the masked one was less understeery too. Must agree the red looks fanatastic on it. :sly:

The Lexus is OK in AM mode, but sucks big time in Pro mode. Also, if you're in Pro mode, you have no real choice but to put on traction control, which I don't like.

Lexus with Pro mode, without TCS, with controller = Horrible suck fest

My three faves:

1. BMW 135i Coupe
2. Impreza WRX STI (Blue and gold)
3. GT-R

I managed to get third with the Lexus in Pro mode (w/o TCS; w/ R3's; w/ SixAxis), beaten only by Ferraris and a GT-R. I feel that's pretty impressive for a big fat ugly Lexus.

The first part of unveiling looks ultimately realistic
specially with the flashes reflecting on the front bumper
PD really did a great job! I guess the prize car screen in GT5 will be mind blowing
