As far as I know, we have three judges still planning on rendering verdicts - STIdriver in both divisions, RJ in 64-72, and Mafia_boy in 63 and earlier... let the nailbiting continue :sly:

If only my GameShark still worked...

Err, that means, If I hadn't left it laying around and let it get scratched to hell.

Both the cars I need are available in the 'classic' lots of their respective manufacturers, they're just not priced. The 'all cars free' cheat fixes that...

Then it's just lack of an oil change and that's it.

Sup here's my entry into Vintage Phase II - Classic Club Racers.

mustang, congrats on the victory and im glad your goal is complete. i had to stop and take rests cause i was in a motorcycle wreck in the middle of tuning the cuda. mine was tuned at infinieon btw thats why its good there ( i forgot to mention that)

Snyp: GT4 measures weight in KG as it stands, so no need to convert there (the weights you listed in lbs are actually in KG), and it looks like you got your hp-to-kw conversion backwards.

Notes: After nearly 28 years, the R5 is back. And ready to destroy some modern monsters. The RCV Motor Works/Renault 5 Turbo R-Maxi is one of the two 'reborn' R5's that RCV and Renault collaborated on to build, with this one being the full-tilt racing version. All traces of the Renault Le Car that the Renault 5 Turbo was based off of have been erased, and the car has been turned into a monster. Sticky tires, stiff suspension, more power, and closer gearing squeeze the last bit out of the car's potential. The car can and will bite you if you don't drive it the way it tells you to, but when you listen to it... It reveals its inner monster. Cornering speed and resultant g-force is enough to induce vomiting in the faint of heart, and laptimes show it.

A few recent updates to the suspension have increased stability and cornering speeds while sacrificing nothing; the car is ready.

Anyone opposed to stretching it one more time until Saturday at 11:59 pm US Eastern? We need these last few reviews to make this all worthwhile!

Phew! *Wipes forehead* Hangin' with my girl monday didn't screw me over!

I can't wait for Vander's judgings!

Notes: After nearly 28 years, the R5 is back. And ready to destroy some modern monsters. The RCV Motor Works/Renault 5 Turbo S-Maxi is one of the two 'reborn' R5's that RCV and Renault collaborated on to build. More biased towards street dominance, the S-Maxi uses a slightly smaller turbo, softer and less aggressive suspension tuning, and a front splitter that creates a bit less downforce than that of the R-Maxi. The gearbox has been tuned for a slightly wider gear spacing and a longer top gear, to aid fuel economy and street launches. While slower than the R-Maxi, the S-Maxi is every bit as good to drive as the R-Maxi, with its precise, yet slightly oversteer biased handling.

Those Renaults are really good when tuned properly :scared: This will be some seriously tight competition in the Phase 2.

I geared the R-Maxi to top out at 156-158 for a reason.

My car doesn't have wheelspin.

And can your car handle this kind of angle at WOT and come out of it without lifting?

EDIT/ADDIT:

CLS, your Alpine just isn't right in the head. That's all I'll say. And it's good news for me.

I almost feel left out with just my [lies]puny little 520hp camaro 302[/lies]

I won't give into your mad small car craze, even if it costs me the cup, seeing as I do it for fun, and to beat people who choose the same car.

:scared:Leo said something about using a 302 Camaro in this event:scared:

Judging from my laptimes at Grand Valley, and my inherent 10-second deficit there against the good drivers... My car is probably a comfortable 1:55-1:57 car. (The S-Maxi)

And I only get up to 142-143 down the main straight there.
