Red-Zone Autoworks (Demonstration Car now out!)

I think it might be the difference of what alignment shop workers are told to do and what the line workers are told to do as well.

Then again, most alignment shops get it within .1" and call it a day.

Volkswagen's cars are famous all around the world. Aside from the Beetle, their very own "hot hatch" Golf became even hotter on the release of its 5th generation. Now gaining more popularity than ever, even import tuners begin to like the Golf and make this car turn heads with their customizations. But we aren't import tuners. We are Touge Tuners, and we are about to make this car turn heads because of its performance and ability to keep up with Japan's nimble sports cars. To add a bit of twist to this car, we made a little bit of "import tuning" ourselves. A nice-sounding exhaust, red-hot paint job, rear wing and larger intercooler are not just for show. Is it me or is it getting hot in here??

Holden Monaro Touge Machine Review
Well your garage is safe from the likes of my henchmen you needn't worry :sly: You've done Holden relatively proud. The suspension work feels great and seems very well suited to touge, combined with the diff work and it is one damn fine automobile. The weight holds it back a little but it still hammers along very nicely. The car had just a slight hint of oversteer which felt absolutely great on the touge. I think the brake balance could be revised, to give more turn-in. You had 5/4 and I ended up using 3/7 because it felt much better and allowed me to maneouver the car better and achieve faster times. If you increased the downforce I bet it would help too but I'm not worried about that. It was smart to decrease camber for better traction and make up with the spring rates, something I think could only work like that on touge but it works. The gearing was fairly nice too, I was able to use 1st gear at the hairpin on Cita. Well done TTL, you've made a fine Monaro touge machine. 👍

As a side note- do you do requests? It's a hard one, hard in that the car is rare and difficult to acquire- you may not have it yet. I could tune it myself but I thought I've already done circuit tunes for it so I'll give you the business as it's your area of expertise. The car is a Pontiac Solstice Coupe, quite the sexy looking thing, and loads of potential. Do you think you could do a touge tune of that for me? If you have it. You might have to try and get it.

Call it what you will, I imagine you'll be calling other things worse names soon. The Solstice is won, not from an enduro, from getting all silvers in the S license not including the coffee break. It's not hard but I don't know how good a driver you are.

Edit: Oh yeah, I had no problems getting the Monaro around Cita in very low 36sec T1s all the time. Just fix the brake balance would you? 3/7 works well ;)

oh.....my......goodness........ *sweat drop*:nervous::scared:

sure, will do..,

Good luck with the silvers. If you don't feel bad about it some tracks you can wall ride if you must, just don't hit the wall with a large force.

to be honest, i haven't got my S License yet.., AND i'm not that good at licenses either, lots of bronze.., :D

just need 3 more silvers on that S License..., Pontiac Solstice, here we come!! Cheer for me lads!! :D

that damn Coffee Break got in the way again.., WTH, i still took it, the Beat looks like a mouse in a maze, and those cones are pieces of cheese, "hey look, cheese!!"

Remember though, you don't have to do the coffee break to get all silvers.

i know that, i just want to do the Coffee Breaks.., speaking of licenses, i just got my S License! 14 silvers, 2 golds.. I now have the Solstice, will get to tuning now..,

man, my garage has been forgotten, so have I, because of my race report :dunce::ouch: not to worry, i have some cars undergoing tuning now.., expect the Solstice and a few other cars to roll out of the garage.., 👍

Cool, and you're not the only one who's garage has been forgotten. We always get reviews promised that never come around. Soprano at least has an excuse, he said he'd drive the Cobra Venom, then he lost his PS2 poor man.
I'll drive the Solstice as soon as I can 👍 (Gotta wash my Ute tomorrow, then go and talk to an apprenticeship company, me need job now )

i have a beauty of a car. it is a 96' or 97' RX-7 Type R Bathurst R and it drifts like crazy. you do have to kep the powerband up tho, because it will whip bakc on you if your not careful. i will have the spcs and what not when i get them. hope you all like it. it was a treat to find this RX-7 in the used car lot.

i have to say a few things:

1st of all: you can't post your car settings in here, no sir you can't.., because this is MY garage.., anyway, if your FD is tuned right, it won't whip back at you..,

2nd: since when did a RX-7 Bathurst got produced in the year '96 or '97?? it's in the year '00..,

BTW, though has 6 letters in it, not 3..,

Pontiac is known for making great muscle cars. But who would've thought that they would create such a small, exciting vehicle like this?? When the Pontiac Solstice Concept was revealed to the public, it attracted a lot of attention, especially the youth. Now on production, it even made its way to the big screen, as seen on the movie Transformers. It gained more popularity than ever. Here at TTL, we were surprised at the amazing performance of this car, so we thought, "Let's make this thing better". A touge-tuned Solstice, that's what we came up with. It runs better than before in stock. Featuring a rear wing, reworked engine, race-spec suspension and high-performance tires, take this lil' bugger out of here and on to the touge..,

Hmm, that looks like some hell of a car!:) Anyway, I'm having some trouble getting my hands on a 22b... So it's taking a little longer that I had expected, sorry. I will get on it asap I get time, which hopefully will be thursday, or friday.

same here, i still can't get a Coupe R Ver. VI.., I'd like to try out your Subbie too..,

haha, funny.:P

When you do, please put your times into the review, so I can do a comparison review on the same track.(propably Citta d' Aria, since you're a Touge fan.;))

The Solstice is here eh? I'll drive it when I get a chance. I'm waiting for a certain Skyline to appear in the used car lot so I can finish judging TCV3 already. Plus I just got hit with a bad wog (floo, disease, whatever you call it) today. My head is killing me whenever I'm not asleep, and I lost some sleep on it, so I'm very tired as well. I will do the review though, yours too Vince. I try to be a man of my word, even though I get GT5:P today if it isn't sold out.

PS- Yep, that Solstice looks cool. :dopey:
