Grip is not a problem for me in 500 PP. Not the spinning out kind at least.
When they updated it, they only changed the PP value, so quit the bull.
Also, read my post again, did I say I hated either Elise? Did I say i hated those who drove it? Did I say that it was a crap car? No I didnt say any of those things, so wtf with your response.
I can't see why you would want one car to dominate, it just makes it boring, regardless what car it is.
And, yes, if one car dominates again, I do expect PD to update it so they do not. Fortuntely though, that doesn't seem to be happening, all cars are equal performance in PP600. The problem with the Tuned Elise was that it blatantly wasn't meant to be that low PP value and had clearly been mistakenly placed there because it had a low power to weight ratio thus falling through the loop that PD must use to determine PP values. Seriously, you can't defend such a car being able to be in PP650, it creamed all competition, regardless of driver skill. This is not an issue with realism, its an issue with regulations for competition.
Wow what a muppet, calm down I was expressing my opinion on the Lotus not dissing you. I have formed my opinion from some really good drivers and they tell me the Lotus does not handle well at all like it did pre update so instead of dissing me perhaps you would like to diss them instead?
The point of GT5p is that it is a car simulation yes? A car sim reflects how a car handles in real life or near to it as possible yes? If you agree on those then even you should agree that the Lotus does not handle like it does in real life and the pre update it was very much closer not just the pp either, I got that from a guy who has driven a Lotus.
I couldn't care less if you think it dominated or not, personally I wouldn't care if it was the slowest car in GT5p but I like Lotus's and would like to use them in GT5p but the way they are I struggle which is why I came here to ask for a tune. I disagree with you and think the Lotus is less realistic than it was again I got that from Lotus drivers (real life) as there is no way on earth that I could, lol.
If any car dominates in GT5p and is shown to do so in real life then it should do in game as well otherwise what point is there having a sim? Perhaps you would be more suited to Grid?
there are two Lotus's in the game as far as I'm aware. You could also repeat yourself untill the cow's come home for all I care, people who I listen to are civil and as I said before also have driven one in real life and if they say it handles different now then thats good enough for me.
The Lotus is built on handling, that is it's trademark, watch top gear and they will show you. I'm not bothered about about different events like pp650 I'm concerned about the Lotus's handling whatever you might think PD have or have not done. I'm not interested in how fast it goes compared to other cars, events it gets into ETC I am just voicing what Lotus drivers have said about the car in game. In fact one real Lotus driver said the car was more difficult to drive in game than what it is in real life especially after the update.

I just switched from using the analogue sticks to trying to use the triggers on the sixaxis controller and I have to say it is a pain to get accustomed to the new set up. I find myself looking for the next button i need to press, but i guess it will come with time.
I decided what better place to train my fingers than london in the z4 and it is much easier to control the throttle with the trigger but it also takes a toll on the index finger and so now i have to take a rest after every five laps i run. I also keep hitting the walls at london cause for some reason they appear further then the y really are, especially the walls on the inside of the turns. Anyone else having this problem?
Now i am at 1'05 with the triggers and hopefully i can get lower this time because this car should be able to run one minute flat.
I am liking your Z4 tune, I have to get used to them tires and the London track, but at the moment I am running 1.05.xx and I know I can shave some time off that, need to get that long left/right turn better.
TBH, if they think the car handles worse in this game then they are full of it. Try my Tuned setup, extremely good handling. They also won't realise that in the game they have no fear of crashing and dying and are definitely going to be pushing harder bringing out more faults in the car's handling. In a game every lap is essentially a hot lap, not many people seem to settle into a race pace come race day, GTP'ers normally do, which is why we don't all crash so much. I'm just saying, push a car to its outer limits, especially with a short wheel-base like the Elise, and you will break traction. These guys should drive the in-game Elise around a track they drive it on themselves, and watch their real life lap time disappear in history. I'm not having a go at you, and I personally never felt a difference in the Elise after the update.
I hear what you are saying. I can't seem to find the Elise tune for 600pp. I will be most eager to try it if you have.
The only current Elise I have is the 111R/Tuned. It is for 750 PP. Your Elise '96 is done, I just have to find some time to send it you. It handles extremely well but is so poor on the straights it won't even be close to competitive in 600 PP.
Thx for this one. I've been driving the GTR but now I wanted to try a RWD car around Suzuka 600 PP. Since almost all RWD drivers are driving the F430 and the NSX, I'll try this one for a change (at least in the look of the grids, lol).
Oh, and btw, I don't mind if this car isn't a "front runner", I still don't care much about finishing position, what really makes me glad is to finish a race knowing I was clean to others and didn't mess up myself. Anyway, thanks for the warning
Sure, I only ask you to wait until next monday 👍
Fine with me, are you up for a morning race?
I was referring to the review asked by nd 4 holden spd
I'm always ready to race, weekdays only late night (between 23:00 PM and 1 or 2 AM), because of work and family.
Weekends, during the day, it's whenever I get a chance (ie, my wife doesn't need me urgently to save the world; my son isn't playing GRID; my daughters don't need me to save them from their mother ).
At night, I send them all to bed and the PS3 is (again) all mine, lol
I think Viper has better acceleration, but Corvette out-handles it by miles.
UK time is the same as Portugal's I guess. I'll do my best to attend at 23:00. If I can't, I'll send you a PSN message 👍
beware, I've never driven the Corvette, so I'll probably look like a noob, messing it up for several races before I can be at least competent driving it
(notice: I just said "competent", not exactly "competitive", that should take a few more training sessions )
I popped in here on the off chance you'd got round to making a 600pp RW car, low and behold you have, unfortunately having test drove it without much success i've had to alter the suspension settings, probably to suit my driving style, more than likely because of being a fairly new driver on he RW scene i'm a bit too aggressive and the Vette doesn't like it. After the tweaks, hmmmmm i like it, took it for a race and i'm pretty sure cars moved over to let me through, probably amazed that a Corvette had suddenly appeared in their rear veiw mirror...oh and the pleasure, pure pleasure when i'm ever so slightly sliding it round the corner and i see in my rear veiw mirror the scoobies/Evo's sliding OFF the track(no tags), i'm sure other new drivers end up trying to hard, thinking to themselves i can't have THAT beating me, if only they knew, my windows are down, the tunes are playing and i got a ciggy in my mouth, enjoying my sunday drive, lol
she, was talking to much, so she's in the boot, you get use to the thumping coming from the rear as you know its not the car
