vs. PAL lineup #1
Nissan R92CP
Mazda 787B
Toyota 7
Nissan R390
Bentley speed 8

Qualified for all races except High Speed Ring, Fuji and Nürburgring. Some very close and exciting races, especially Test Course and Suzuka. Note the change in downforce for the Test Course.

A race I've been wanting to do for some time, a new WPR record for El Capitan:

Endurance races: El Capitan
Car: Chrysler Crossfire '04 (S2 tires) / FR / 215HP / 1361kg / 6.3kg/HP / 200 A-spec

My first ever race report can be read here:

Crossfire at El Capitan

New entries for me:

Endurance races: Infineon World Sports endurance
Car: Chaparral 2J Race Car '70 (R1 tyres and oil change) / MR / 719HP / 821KG / 1.1 KG/HP / 200 A-Spec points by mynameissport

Can't remember the exact lineup I used but do not get a lineup containing either the Panoz, Dodge Viper or the Corvette C5 GT1 cars as they reduce the A-Spec points. But once you get the setup correctly you can last till about Lap 19/20 and was a quite easy victory for 200 A-spec points. Just don't push too hard as it is very easy to slide off and the car is a little difficult to control on cold tyres but once warmed up it makes up time.

Endurance races: Fuji 1000km
Car: Chaparral 2J Race Car '70 (R1 tyres and oil change) / MR / 719HP / 821KG / 1.1 KG/HP / 200 A-Spec points by mynameissport

Against PAL Lineup (can't remember something like lineup 17 after console reset, lost count but it does exist)
Mazda 787B
Nissan R89C
Nissan R92CP
Toyota GT-One
Sauber Mercedes C9

Once you get the setup correctly again this is a easy race as long as you do not over push during braking and cornering and slide off as it is very easy to over do it. The tyres should last till about Lap 23 which means you only pit 9 times in the race compared to the other field which pit significantly more. The 2J is easy on it's tyres and its fuel so it is easier to run longer than the AI. However running for a long stint means you will need to fuel the car to the brim which means a longer pit stop. Probably one of the easier 200 A-Spec points endurance races I have done for a long while as long as you do not go crazy in the corners. Just be careful in braking and steering as this car prefers to brake straight in line after than turning and braking at the same time because of the lack of downforce. In addition watch out for its handling with cold tyres as it does become a little handful.

Extreme Hall: Like The Wind
Car: Panoz Esperante GTR-1 Race Car '98 (Min downforce) / FR / ?HP (garage value 752HP) / 1150kg / ?kg/HP (1.5kg/HP using garage value) / 200 A-spec by mynameissport

Pretty much most lineups with little downforce and the right gearing and setup should be an easy win for 200 A-Spec's on the Like The Wind race.

Car: Nismo Fairlady Z S-tune concept by GRANTURISMO (S2 tires) / -- / 278HP(garage value) / 1320kg / 4.7kg/HP / 200 A-spec

This appears to be one of those cars that do not have a specified drivetrain.

Against lineup #1, this was quite enjoyable. Had to block the Shelby on the last straight, but otherwise clean.

Endurance races: Laguna Seca 200 miles
Car: Proto Motors Spirra 4.6 V8 '04 (R1 tires) / MR / 320HP / 1205kg / 3.8kg/HP / 200 A-spec

vs lineup #1, which has the Saleen S7, Ford GT and the Shelby Superseries.
Not all that difficult, I only needed three pitstops and matched the Saleen's laptimes.

Endurance races: El Capitan 200 miles
Car: Proto Motors Spirra 4.6 V8 '04 (S1 tires) / MR / 320HP / 1205kg / 3.8kg/HP / 200 A-spec

You'd think a car fast enough to beat the Saleen at Laguna Seca would cruise to victory at El Capitan, but this was actually the harder race. Not because of the AI, but because the Spirra is so unstable and will spin out at every opportunity..:banghead:

Car: lotus motorsport elise/ MR / 224HP / 700kg , ok I'm sorry if this is in the wrong spot, and I'm really just posting this to give someone else a fun challenge. I bought this car, no oil, but I did install a race tranny, and basically all driveline components, and a stage 1 turbo. However this is where it gets fun, I took it to the british gt championship and took 200 aspec points for every race against cars that should've outclassed me. A db9, lotus esprit, and a tamora showed up. they were the main competition. each race was close and the biggest MOV was just over 5 secs. good stuff very exciting to take the little elise and fight for every win. Right now I'm in the pan-euro championships and have finished off the first race for 200 aspec. This is a great little car that I almost forgot about. Just throwing this out there if anyone gets bored.

The CLUB 200 list in Post #1 is now up to date with our latest new members, ZeroG & flyingkiwi.

I really shouldn't leave it so long between updates, as it's taken almost 2hrs of time tonight to do this!
Thanks again to all who're still submitting, and rest assured that I've not succumbed to the temptations of GT5:P either!

Could've sworn that flyingkiwi was amongst our number already, but it seems that he's submitted before without ever getting to the 200 A-spec point! Valhalla that we're all seeking!
So a personal congratulations is due  to getting over that hump and securing the stock 200 point goal! :D

Keep 'em coming folks 👍

Managed to finally complete the Fuji 1000km with the Gilet Vertigo Race Car which has been left in my garage for a very long time. Not an easy race due to the lack of downforce so setup and having a good strategy will be crucial plus getting some practice to get used to the car is useful.

Not a 200 A-Spec pointer but at least a high A-Spec value race.

Endurance Race: Fuji 1000km

:D
You're ahead of me! :(
26 to go, 9 race cars, 9 road cars & 8 tuner cars. Only got 7.9 million Cr left to earn in order to afford them all, and only 3 of them are 4,500,000Cr cars.

I'm preparing for SFGTP4, and running in the MX-5 Cup so I've not done much with my GT mode game recently. Was trying to win NY200 miles in a stock Holden Monaro, but it's a teeny bit too much for it. :grumpy: Trouble is I know it'd trounce the El Capitan 200, so I don't want to run it there just for money's sake.

Cars:
Volkswagen W12 '01 (oil changed) / MR / 630HP / 1300kg / 2.1kg/HP / 200 A-spec
Tommy Kaira ZZII '00 (oil changed) / 4WD / 578HP / 1000kg / 1.7kg/HP / 200 A-spec
Ford GT '05 (oil changed) / MR / 586HP / 1451kg / 2.5kg/HP / 200 A-spec

Couldn't resist seeing what other cars were capable in (largely) stock form. The W12 could almost completely be modified, so it easily managed a cruising speed of 229mph/369km/h. The GT hit 224mph and the ZZII 220mph. It was fun :D

Now I have maxed points, I am using the worn out maufacture raced cars to see what you can get stock. I noticed that alot of these were not on the list. I will try to add more that I have not seen. (Unfortunatley not many points with stock car)

Another set of 200 A-Spec pointer races around:

The Opera S2000 is slightly better on performance and tends to run better in those endurance races than the Amuse S2000, but both are capable of winning these races. I do wonder where there are other races that can get 200 A-Spec points for both the Opera and the Amuse.

Sorry about that

Sorry Open Addict, but I can't accept entries with questionable values. It's up to you to confirm the correct weight for this car so that the stats are accurate, especially as this will affect the WPR value if it's wrong.

My next entry:

Endurance Hall : New York Streets 200 miles
Car: Proto Motors Spirra 4.6 V8 '04 (S1 tyres) / MR / 320HP / 1205kg / 3.8kg/HP / 200 A-spec points! :D

Had to do a bit of digging to find a 200 point lineup without the Pagani Zonda C12 '00 since it's too quick for the Spirra, but found it after a while and it's documented over in my Endurance Companion, Post #145.

Was surprised to see that this car had conquered El Capitan 200 and Laguna Seca 200 for max. stock points but hadn't done the duty at NY. Now it has! :D

Car: Formula Gran Turismo '04 (Minimum downforce) / MR / 904 HP / 550 kg / 0.6kg/hp / 127 A-spec pts. by RVDNuT374

They should've renamed this series: Formula GT Off Road Championship, because I spent nearly as much time off track as I did on in an attempt to control this beast. :P  Every race except New York involved multiple crashes and off-road excursions. I wasn't going to even bother posting an entry with such sloppy driving, but I never gained any time from doing it. 👍

Extreme Hall: Real Circuit Tour- Nurburgring

Car: Pagani Zonda LM Race Car '01 (Oil Changed, R1 tires, downforce @ 38/50) / MR / ?HP (garage value 694HP) / 1150kg / ?kg/HP (1.7kg/HP using garage value) / 200 A-spec pts. against the first lineup after reset

Just in case this race didn't have enough entries already, here's another! :P

Endurance Hall : El Capitan 200 miles
Car: Acura NSX '04 (S2 Tyres) / MR / 281HP / 1430kg / 5.1kg/HP / 200 A-spec points!

Picked a nice hard lineup and still won by about 50s over the Pagani Zonda, despite pitting 2 more times than he did!

Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII RS '03
Nissan Skyline Coupe 350GT '03
Subaru Legacy B4 2.0GT '03
Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec II '00
Subaru Impreza Sedan WRX STI Ver:VI '99

First ever I think tuner type car to win this championship series, just changed the tyres to SM and tuned the stock settings with the car. You can qualify from pole if you wish but the car is capable of winning for the back of the grid in most races. In R246 just try to gain time in the second and last half before the straight to stay ahead and block on the main straight, but after that make up time in the technical part so it is harder for the AI to draft you. Easier run than the ordinary S2000 but still get the max A-Spec and finally completing this series for 200 points at last.

European Hall: Deutsche touring Car Championship races 1-5
Car: AMG Mercedes 190 Evo-II Touring Car '92 (R1 tyres, downforce 32/42) / FR / 376HP / 980kg / 2.6kg/HP / 200 A-spec by mynameissport

Once you nailed a good setup to deal with the front heavy understeer it is a good way of getting 200 A-Spec points for all races. Can win capable from the back of the grid without qualifying, if you can qualify if it is a struggle. At Fuji Speedway, try to get on the leading car as quick as you can or you will lose time and cannot win the race.

Possibly the most expensive 200 points I've earned, in terms of cost / mile, but well worth it as it pushes me through the 82,000 mark! :D (Over 226,000Cr per mile!!!)

Extreme Hall : Real Circuit Tours : Tsukuba Circuit
Car: Panoz Esperante GTR-1 Race Car '98 (Tyres F/R: S2/S3) / FR / ?HP (752HP on garage screen) / 1150kg / ?kg/HP (1.5kg/HP using garage value) / 200 A-spec points!

vs. 10th lineup after reset (NTSC)
Bentley Speed 8 Race Car '03
Nissan R390 GT1 Race Car '98
Toyota GT-One Race Car (TS020) '99
Audi R8 Race Car '01
Nissan R92CP Race Car '92

All the rest of the cars pit, but with careful handling and a TCS setting of 1, the rear tyres on the Panoz will go the full 15 laps without a stop. Finished 0.437s ahead of Nissan R92CP Race Car '92 who was 2.4s behind at the beginning of lap 15! :scared:

*Edit*

Special Conditions: Tsukuba Wet Race : Normal difficulty
