Flipping heck Gyles, you are quick. Well done. Me trying to let you pass didn't quite work though, did it?

I made a tonne of errors:

Spun going into pits on 1st time (blind pit entrances aren't fun).
Spun in the fast left-right (before the really quick double right hander) early on in the race.
Pitted because I was told fuel was dangerously low, but I'd forgotten to press select. I had presumed they would do it automatically and didn't even check the light.
Of course ran out of fuel because of above.
Had some other big spins too, all in all last a minute in those incidents alone.

@ GT4 Genius.

I got tagged on my left rear going into the first corner. Not sure if that was your incident however, as I didn't hit anyone in the back. I was the one coming up the inside in the McLaren, attacking, but I was clear of other cars.

Kakundoo-I said I wasn't very good at this track...I was mainly focusing on letting everyone passed because I was in last.

But GT4genius what happened on the first lap? You pitted? I lost a wing, everything went mental and basically everyone spun.

I remember driving between two GTPers who had spun at the left hairpin in the middle of the lap. Who was that?

The first corner, I'm not so sure. I'm not going to guess who it was that hit me, they probably didnt even realise it with the lag bubble, just who was directly behind me going into the first corner?
Anyway after I started to spin two people flew past, then I seen Sureshot heading wide, probably avoiding me. Then I hit the brakes because I was afraid of reversing into Sureshots path, but because of that Kakundoo swiped my nose off that was unavoidable though. So then I limped back to the pits with no nose and a damaged rear wing then had a 13 second stop and headed on my way.

(To Sureshot) Not me, I didn't spin there, although I was close to it a few times. I only spun at the second from last corner, the first corner (twice, in a row!) and nearly when I went into the pits (They told me to pit, I was ready, but there was no blue line!)

I really could have done a lot better in that race, I was quicker than LewyOs, especially when I was heavy (??), so without the mistakes a podium was definitly within my grasp, but hey Appie and LewyOs didn't have traction problems and must've kept their heads better than me so fair play to them.

I would say I will do better next time, but I really don't like Melbourne and don't expect to come away with any good points, which is a shame because in the next race 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th places (in the championship) will be very close.

I'm sorry GT4 Genius, I didn't think I hit you, I thought I had gone straight passed. If you like I will give up my place to you as it was my fault that you were in the pits on the first lap and if it wasn't for me, you would have got a much better place, especially considering by the last lap, you were only half a straight behind me.

Of course not, I should apologies to you it was a choice between getting in your way or Sureshot's and I chose you, but only because it was Sureshots first race and I thought he deserved a bit of luck, no hard feelings. :nervous:

Good race, I remember seeing you kakundoo, that was when me and appie had a bit of a tussle, I lost a front wheel and a lot of time since appie didn't wait, but theres not alot we can do about that, I got him later on after catching him back up.

I had just pitted early before that, then lost my wheel, then saw you and you dart into the pits same lap.

Quite happy with my race total mistakes of 1, span as I was chasing down appie going onto the back straight.

Great race guys. Sorry if I hit any of you, especially at turn one. I was trying to stay tight to the apex and I was worried I might hit someone.

Nice race guys , relatively clean , I sustained a few bumps and bruises , but it's all good , only 1 major incident :ouch:, racecars front wing met my rear diffuser kind of hard and sent me for a wild ride in the sand, I'm sure the lag bubble got us into that one ( it's all good racecar 👍). Was running 4th at the time , after incident came back on in 9th pos. , raced back to finish up 5th. Lofasz , I was trying to get you when you went in the pits , thought I could make up some time while you were in , it just was not enough though , nice job. 👍. CONGRATS DUCK - quack quack.

1st - zeroduck1
2nd - GTP_RACECAR

Things were going well for me as I was in P4. That was until my first pit-in lap when I had trouble with traffic behind me and had my right rear tire cut down resulting in spinning out into the infield in that 6th gear turn. After that, it was all-pants.:guilty:

Not much to say about race, just rode around mainly by myself. Followed Lennon for a while being VERY CAREFUL not to tap my team mate. Seems like a better race up front tonight . Hope every onehad fun, See ya in Melborne next week. Glad Sepang is OVER!!

Well i was worried about start and it was tough got bumped 2 times but wasn't anything serious held the wheel tight and let off brakes and got in behind my teamate and away we went other than trying to miss doc when he spun really didn't have any problems no penalties no crashes 1st pit stop was a little slow 8.1 2nd pit stop was a 7.8 so it turned out pretty good thanx for a great race guys i want to say a big thanx to CAMikazi when i caught him to put him a lap down he moved over and let me go with no problems a very classy move and great sportsmanship thanx CAMikazi if tables are ever turned the other way i wont forget that

OOOOPS , sorry guys , I did not shut off the AI , hope it did not cause any problems.

Glad you brought that up. Need to setup next race with 10 cars. That way if someone late joins they will have a car.

He did that for me too(thanks), and I thought I had plenty of room and next thing I know I had no front wheel. :ouch: I had nearly caught up to Vdub and Lennon at that point. I was recovering from sitting P4 after exiting turn 2 and losing my left rear wheel at the start, not sure who it was but no worries.

Fun race. 👍

Ok, I was actually offering to organise it here in this thread, but whatever. 👍

I just started another thread to (hopefully) grab it's own attention, then if enough drivers are involved, we join in the season with both the exsisting comps.
If it becomes a little muddled for some, having 3 comps of posts, then there's a thread ready and waiting ,or like you say whatever.👍

Good race guys. I bumped into a few people in the early goings, but am happy overall, with my performance. I had a lot of fun, and that's the point. I hope you all had fun too, and look forward to racing with you guys more, after I return from LA in about a week.

Anyway, I've uploaded the picture of the race results, into one of my profile albums. I'm in the process of packing for my trip right at the moment, and am in a bit of a rush. If you'd like to see the screen shot of the results, please check out my profile page, and look in the F1CE race results album.

Thanks for another fun race guys. Hopefully I can get back on the podium, after a fun race in Melborne. 👍
