Hmm really? Well that sounds like I might pick up some better points than I expected. The 1:32.169 was really unexpected though, without that time I was mainly getting 1:33s.
I think it will be a very interesting race, but people have to watch out a lot more, especially when slip streaming people into a corner and most definitly at 6 or 7, can't remember which one, but a lot of accidents could happen there.

And at every other corner on the track. As long as people keep their head and remember the conditions, we should be all right.

Its a shame I'm probably going to miss this race, I love wet races and I especially love Melbourne.
It seems to have thrown a spanner in the works for a lot of you, which is what I like to see :D

Here is the equivalent PAL pic 👍

Also, I have actually sorted out the traction control problem. Basically, it was on TC 1 and when I changed it after the Bahrain race, it didn't save and so consequently it happened on Malaysia as well, which is annoying because I know I could have got a podium.

How often were you having this traction problem, cus you were 25 seconds off appie, and 27 seconds off me, and I lost a wheel.

LewyOs, i was having the traction problem at least twice per lap. So now that i've sorted (and tested) the problem, i should be quicker, well at least i won't spin when i accelerate.

I was really surprised at myself, I hate Melbourne and I really hate the rain and I managed to get a really quick lap of 1:32.169...over a second quicker than everyone else on medium, so I think I might have a better chance that I thought in the next race.

But oh well, the past is the past and now I must look forward and make sure I score some good points in Melbourne.

What about everyone elses times?

I started practising today and my best on low fuel is a 1:31.483, but most of my laps are in the low-mid 1:32's. That said, when I'm under pressure in the real event I don't usually race with this much composure. I think the key in this race is going to be qualifying.

Fishfash is either lying or being typically modest about his lap times. Expect to see him lapping in the 1:30's consistently. GT4genius is very adept at this circuit in the dry, it'll be an interesting battle with him I hope.

Fully expect me to be near the bottom. Hate the track, even worse in light rain. I'll try not to kill anyone. I'll have to remain consistent and hope for the best.

Expect be to be near the bottom, I like Melbourne but hate rain.

I must forget about Malaysia and look forward, try to score some points even though I hate rain.

Will there be AI or no AI?

Hey, Thanks for showing up to practice in the rain. What happened to you guys, did everyone get DC'd. I actually WON, WWOOO HHOOOO. Think Duck & RACECAR were sandbagging. I was able to cut my laps down to 1.33s. Seems brake early steady throttle out works.

An annoucement for the NTSC drivers - Biggles has decided to pull out of the championship for the time being, I will be looking to promote someone from GP2.

looooooooool dubs i wasn't sandbagging was just really wasted last night but i did get my butt kicked by fishfash yesterday looooooooool

I done a few laps earlier today, I could get into the low 1.31s provided I had clean air in front and had no short cut penalties! :dunce: I'm afraid I'm going to get a good few of them, I've a tendency to hit the brakes and let the back slide out causing me to over steer across the apex and that often ends in a penalty.
Bought a DFGT today, but havent got it just yet, so this'll probably be my last competitive race with a sixaxis, it'll be an emotional race. :P

Hmm, I'd give him the benefit of the doubt really.

Anyway, I believe fishfash is our current backup? Or GT4 Genius?
If it comes to the race time and Kakundoo hasn't posted here and hasn't hosted the race, then join either fishfash's or Genius' game, whoever. If neither can, feel free, pepsi :)

Another NTSC announcement: Lofasz will be unable to make it as well so we may be seeing 2 GP2 drivers tonight at Team Lofus.
