Oookay, who is up for another tuner challenge?

See, I told you ladies who has the best Megane and it's only a factory effort!! I'm actually pleased with those results. đź‘Ť

*looks and compares* Hmmm, I got 64pts. off both judges so far. It seems that PF didn't find my car as comfortable as the other Megane's which is weird but that's cool, I don't normally feel comfortable with it either :sly:, the areas I was more concerned with (perception & improvement) are right about where they should be. đź‘Ť

Atleast I'm killing it where it counts, in cornering prowess and attitude. :D As the GME motto goes: Factory Balance, Extreme Performance.

My Tigra lost to 4 other people this time, sucks to be that Tigra right now.........

woot, 85?? not bad. :sly::sly::sly: glad to see my Spoon's score is QUITE HIGH, unlike the first one.., (gets attention of that someone who gave 62 points....) :D:lol: j/k..,

All judging was done in close collaboration with my mate Mr Lawrence, who was a bloody trooper. We argued over every score, then revised every score relative to the better cars, then he insisted on driving each one again and reviewing the scores again.

@Paulie, yeah, that was one that I thought would do top 3 at least but the competition was tough. Great tune, lovely to drive.

@Drifting: great car, once I found the bloody thing

The best two were instantly recognisable to us (Acura and FTO) but the 04 Civic (sorry, dunno who made it) is exceptional. I can't remember why we marked it down, but it could easily have won.

All good PF. đź‘Ť Thanks for the input bro and thank Mr Lawrence for us aswell mate. :D

If possible mate, can you PM me to let us know what improvements can be made to the Megane. ;) Thanks. :)

Yeah well, it is sadly very slow, I can't expect first prize with it.:sly::sly:

oh well.. I'm sure that that puny FTO will score high later as well. *wink wink, nudge nudge at EA11R*

Hello kids, I've been away the last couple of weeks and just got around to checking up on things.
Whats with all B.S. about me not getting my settings right....

A: I can read
B: I can set a car up to what your specs are listed as
C: I did work out the odd typo I.E: auto 1 instead of 3

I drive a car a fast as it will go an still maintain its ability to handle around corners, an those that were getting lots of UNDERSTEER through hard corners were rated worse than those that still had good steering at high speed, simple. This was about tunning the car to be better than it is stock, so those that didn't spend much time on that did worse than others, and those that supped up thiers, some didn't a good job by my account.

I know how to get a car of the line for 400m etc. with no wheel spin, so I'd like to know how some people can get a faster time than I did, because that was the one thing I spent the most time on, an I revised it if I did better on the 1000m and top speed, vis-a-vis.

Know if the TCv4 was stated as being a road legal tuner test it would have been a different story for some of the cars, but people went the hole hog (me included), so i'm a affended at some of the coments in case you can't tell and think people are being sore losers because they think they should have done better than they did. I'm pretty easy going guy for those that don't know me, which is 99% of you, so people need to keep it a bit more civil as far as I'm concerned.
"Not happy Jan"đź‘Ž

P.S. If poeple want a point cleared up then I'm more than happy too, if its a respectful question, which you can send private or post it here.

A: I don't doubt that
B: You 🤬 up Mafs' car. I got pretty much your exact 1/4 mile, top speed, so on times by removing the turbo from his car (which also put the HP figure the same as his kW figure). You also boogered the points allocation on Roj's Civic.

I would like it if you would retest those two vehicles and get proper results from them. Mafs' has edited his parts list to remove ANY confusion there may be, and I don't know where the screwy figures for Roj's car came from.

EDIT: Civic judging results from you:

Comfort: 19
Cornering Attack: 18
Cornering Prowess: 21
Power to Capability: 20
400m: 14.777
1000m: 24.710
Top: 271.01kph
G.V.S.Best: 2'07.386
Total: 83

You're missing a category and have 5 points over the limit for another. EH?

Don't make me go into more detail about Mafs' car.

OK man if you think I stuffed up Maf's car I'll do it again, and sorry about the Civic Roj I'll do that again too, though I'm thinking of doin them all again because if you think I've stuffed it up that much I may as well, though I don't think I missunderstood the judging criteria and conditions.

I don't think you've stuffed it up on the other cars, just those two. The results from the rest are about consistent.

3rd for 4WD by Vince247, glad you liked it  The understeer in braking was the biggest headache for me :banghead:
I'll be setting the rest of those cars up myself very soon to compair them....

I've just judged the FF-Klasse and should have results shortly. I've judged in a very specific way, to try to honour the rubric RJ has given:

I drove all the cars (For 3 laps around El Capitan, by the way) once, writing down driving impressions and a laptime immediately, then moved on to the next car. Once finished, I fill in my chart quickly and imprecisely. I then look very thoroughly at each category and check to make sure the cars' scores are in order and proportion within that specific category. At the very end, I used a wonderful format tool to put the cars in order based upon their total scores. And luckily, there were no ties.

The idea is that I left the sumnation, and therefore the ranking, until the very end. I didn't actively rank the cars in order of my preference (In fact, I'm downright diassappointed with the finishing order), I ranked them as the sum of all the categories. I ranked them as per the rubric, with negligable personal bias.

oh well.. I'm sure that that puny FTO will score high later as well. *wink wink, nudge nudge at EA11R*

Congratulations to Mafs, Paulie and Kurei. I'm happy cause these were three cars I really wanted to do well but we had to mark down.

EDIT: I just looked over your FWD scores Nuro, and found we picked the same cars in the top two, though in different order

Just took a look at the FF scores from EA11R and I got bit, badly. Looks like I need to take a serious look at the Megane. Im gonna take it for a flog around El Capitan now.

EDIT: Lol, I didn't even care enough about the car to keep it, now I have to rebuild it again

Whoa! Almost perfect scores.:D It seems like Leo's FTO loses some of its awesomeness on bumpy tracks. Amazing to see how different drivers and tracks cause results to vary.

 FTO on El cap? no wonder it got bad score.. it's meant for fast tracks, not mini Nurb.. oh well.. I'm glad to see though, that the 3000GT still has some magic.

Notice how my car does well at all tracks?:P

EA11R's FWD judging
Also, it saddens me that this is the tame DC5 of RJ’s creation. I loved the old one, but only respecct this one.

See, while you loved my nutter DC5, others hated it because it attempted to kill them.

And I'm not one to back out of the FWD arms race, so I went rather nuts with the power once again. The gearing I agree could use some more refinement, and the suspension could as well, but I think for the next TC I'll not be running a DC5. They're too good.

Come on where's the RWD judging?:scared: Is anyone at all working on it?

*looks over at TCv4 thread* hey, new scores...

*I saw my Spoon Civic* 82?? not bad.., :)đź‘Ť

*I saw my Subaru Impreza GD* ......:sly::sly::sly::sly::sly:

......you weren't?? *looks over at AWD entries* .......oh......

Well I only used cars I had in Aussie Tuners already, and as it turned out I had never published an AWD car. What are the odds? Things are different in GT5, I do a lot more tunes.
