Oookay, who is up for another tuner challenge?

New fwd and awd scores.

7th place in fwd, not bad for a class I don't even care about.

Another back of the pack finish for the RUF, expected. Never taken it to Tsukuba or Motegi.

About the RUF, I have continued working on it. Completely changed the setup and got it to turn alot easier.

It shall return if there's a tcv5. :mischievous:

My Civic didnt do too well, but at least it isnt last. *nudges Leo* :sly:

Seems the Stagea powerslided its way into the 3rd spot in the lap times. Then loses out on podium on the actual judging. Still a good result for the wagon. :D

@ Camryfan

Understeer from my Evo's setup ?, sure your not mistaking it for just low traction ?, I know it has low traction entering a corner, but it shouldn't understeer, it'll still grip unless you push it, if anything it should be easily rotating through tighter corners, in WRC hairpin fashion

Did you adjust all the settings I had ?, only thing I can see making it understeer is incorrect LSD settings or no AYC...

^To elaborate on the LSD bit with the Evo, as I've seen others get confused...

When AYC is installed the front LSD is also adjustable. So install AYC, set it, and just click the adjust icon for the LSD (leave it as "standard"), and adjust the settings.

I'll be happily waiting for it, adam. ;)

I can probably release it in my garage before then, to get some early opinions on it.

So far I made it easier to drive, and yet quite a bit faster at the same time. Runs GVS in consistent 2;00-2:02's, runs the 'Ring in the low 7:20's. Top speed is now 208mph despite no change to gearing or horsepower. (probably due to it now having weight reduction) Horsepower has actually gone down due to racking up over 1000 miles on it now. (546)

It's turning out to be a fairly good car. It will probably never be perfect due to the limited tuning options compared to other cars. Definately not impossible to make a decent car out of it though.

I'm happy about my 2 car's, but I'm more happy about my TT. I should have made it with more power, but I played it safe Thanks for everything.

And sorry I didn't judge do to moving and a broken ps2:tup:

@Paulie: I've got and tuned almost all the cars, over the weekend we'll do a few more notes on the FWD class then do RWD

I'll take a second look at it to make sure it's all ok. It could be low traction but my feelings are backed up by the laptime.

Had a DS2 controller. The Evo seemed to work well on Tsukuba as I remember but not so well on Motegi East.

I've got to get the prize car from the Nissan Z-Series. Can anyone think of a car that will decimate the field so we can get through it as quickly as possible? I'm not too familiar with either the race series or the cars used.

Thanks

Any JGTC 350Z. :sly:

Decimate? That thing will do much, much more. :mischievous:

Edit: Actually, I'm not sure racing cars are allowed. If it isnt, just tune a 300ZX, any turbo Z32 model.

*looks at EA11R's results* HOLY 🤬!! :embarrassed::embarrassed::embarrassed::embarrassed::embarrassed::embarrassed::embarrassed::embarrassed: I am so chuffed at that!! :D 91pts. out of a factory spec car!! Thankyou bro, you've just confirmed that I am so on the right track with my factory division!! :D:D:D:D

I'm now inspired to go hard with some more driving now.

*goes off to review Top 3 judged in my AWD judging to confirm I have the right winner* :sly:

Three Fifty Zed will kill it bone stock in A-spec, for B-spec just throw money at it.

 Lack of sarcasm not found RJ. :P

This will be your race PF:

Start.....pass 5 cars by 1st corner......
round......
round......
round......
win.

Repeat x 5. Win new car. :P

I adore MFT's tune of this car so it will be an opportunity to do a few casual laps with a clear track, am looking forward to it.

Over the last 6-8mths of reviewing cars, I've largely lost the desire to race other cars, unless it's a really ugly Aspec pitfight. Once we start the Enduros it will come back to me.

Alright, because I tested it myself again and just as I remember, it lacks some feedback going into a corner, but it should easily rotate through the corner with some oversteer.

understeer and my car shouldn't be in the same sentence the way I tuned it, but this may be a difference between DS2 and the DFP that I wondered about with my cars..

right now I'm quite contented with the results of my Spoon Civic.., 62, 85, 82 compared to the results in the previous TC?? Oh yeah, I'm definitely putting this one up on my garage.., 👍👍

@ EA11R - what problems did you encounter with my EK9?? I can't seem to quite get what you said.., what did you mean by "dull" ??

*still waits for RWD, and another AWD judging...* :)

Yeah that's great, but in the future post in the judging thread first instead of making us wait like this.:P

And it's not even RWD Mafs, geeez.:P Seriously, now I know people are doing RWD, any ETAs?

78?? good enough for me :). congrats shoman, an almost perfect score!! 👍👍

4th, 6th, and 7th. I must say, I'm very impressed with the results on my Golf. I didn't think I'd be almost up in the top 3 with the car. But I'm glad my weird tuning/driving style fits someone. I'm starting to notice that the gearing is the major flaw on it though. I'm going to take note of it when I put it into the garage.
