I'm not sure, no-one has been active on the forums (from the PAL league) in a couple of days, but I will definitly be there (hosting it).

EDIT: I just talked to Shaggy and he will be racing tonight as well. So, so far that makes 3 of us.

Anyone that wants to practice on NTSC, I have a room called "GTP Canada GP Prac" up. Password is "CGP".

The new members Kingmart1n and and Jimmy should be there. Jim's PSN ID is JackBauer btw. Then there's me, you, Sureshot, LewyOs (he's been practising, I'm assuming he'll show) and hopefully Appie. That's 7 isn't it?

Any chance of you racing Ardius?

So that makes 6 with Appie turning up as well. I haven't heard from LewyOs for a while, so it might be seven, but I don't know.

Btw, are these new members really good? lol.

They are pretty good, not Fishfast fast, but fast, certainly enough to give me or you a run for our money.

BTW Kingmart1n and Jimmy if you're reading, please be careful to abide by the rules. Don't be over-zealous trying to overtake. When closely following another car you will most likely need to brake slightly earlier than normal or you will collide. Also be aware of the lag bubble, if you are overtaking a car and suddenly it spins off strangely even though you're certain you didn't touch it, unfortunately due to the lag bubble you have touched it. And remember if you're responsible for an accident, you need to wait for the car to pass you (unless you've lapped them).

Not going to be racing tonight, and with regret I'm pulling out of the championship. I thought I could mix this with other Sunday night commitments, but it's not working.

I may be turning up tonight, we shall see.

Are you sure? You can come back at a later date if you want.

It's something that I'd like to keep doing with you guys, so don't shut it off completely, just don't expect me to race on a regular basis.

Damn lol, looks like I will once again be the sole Jaguar driver. I'm looking for my first win tonight. It will be tough as I know Shaggy is quicker than me, and if LewyOs turns up, then that will make 2 people faster. Also, I don't really know what to expect from the new drivers so I just hope everything goes clean, smooth and that I don't get many penalties, otherwise, my chances are very slim.

EDIT: I'm sorry to hear that Sureshot, I hope you can participate more in the future :)

That's annoying. Would any other time on a Sunday suit you more in the future?

Someone definately has some explaining to do.

Who caused the pile up at the start, kakundoo or shaggy, either way we wern't even at turn 1 and as a result I lost my front wing, due to no fault of my own, so I have to make a pitstop at the end of lap 1 dropping me to last.

This ruined my entire race, yet both of you finish 1 and 2.

On lap 3 I overtook appie, but no he decided to ram and spin me off the road, I can't see how this wasn't unintentional, you did wait however, but then almost had me again at the hairpin which also looked like a deliberate move to take me out.

Action needs to be taken, or I'm pretty sure I'll be leaving.

God, I had an awful race pretty much from start to finish. My qualy was bad and I started second. I just maintained the racing line and then Kakundoo came accross onto it and forced me onto the grass, whether he saw me i don't know and as i came back on to the track I tapped him and he spun, I braked and then lost a wheel from a crash. Then I managed about 4 time penalties and a spin trying to catch Kakundoo.

I just couldn't find my groove. When I'm driving well it's almost subconscious and you don't really think a lot about it, whereas tonight I was hesitating all the time which resulted in tons and tons of errors.

Fairplay to Kakundoo, drove a flawless race, not a single mistake. My only chance of catching him was if he was to make a mistake, which he didn't.

Not that I think we should change times for one member, but to answer the question. 11PM or maybe 10:45PM would be fine. At the moment though I don't have to worry about Monday's as I'm not in college on a Wednesday (or much of the rest of the time!), whereas I know others will have work/college/school/uni on a Monday.

I had a great race :D.
1. Kakundoo
2. Shaggy Alonso
3. King.....
4. LewyOs
5. Appie

I managed to get pole position from Quali, which I REALLY didn't expect. My nerves were running on hypercharge from that point. When the lights went out I tried to move onto the racing line as I thought I would be in front of Shaggy but I span and lost my front wing and my front right tyre. This put me to (what I thought was) last, but I soldiered on, managing to overtake many people on the first lap! To my surprise, on the second lap I was behind King, who was in first place. He made a mistake at the hairpin a lap later I believe, which meant I could overtake him without hassle as I was right behind him.
From there on I just tried to keep my cool and get consistent laps. I saw that Shaggy got the fastest lap just before I made my first pit stop, which was a time of 9.2 seconds!! I thought it had ended my lead, but actually I had gained time. From then onwards I just did consistent laps, tried not to crash and on the 2 last laps I caught up to LewyOs but couldn't lap him, thus securing my first win of the season! :D

What? how can it be my fault when u tried to squeeze me off the road and i lost my tyre and wing? It seems when im around you something always happen. At the hairpin i tried to brake later as possible and again, i have no gain if i try to punt you or anything, because i will get penalized myself. Well now i know to stay away from you when im near you.

Results: NTSC Championship - Canadian GP (Congrats RACECAR, you're just too damn fast!:sly:👍):

Wow, just wow. The race was uneventful for me (other then overshooting one corner and getting penalty) but man, it looked like a Demolition derby. Seemed like last few laps, pieces were everywhere. First top was good, but the second stop gave me a heart attack as I got the last button wrong. Alll in all, I'm shocked. I really thought Z was gonna be the guy on my tail pipe, but he wasn't there.

Nice victory, RACECAR.. told you the other day that you'd probably win it. Sorry for the bump at turn 2.. I checked up just enough not to spin you. You barely got sideways and continued on your way. I got caught up in the moment and didn't brake properly for turn 3, resulting in a penalty that essentially ruined it all because you and Lofasz didn't make mistakes.

Duck was in hot pursuit, but something happened (??) in the early going and the gap between us increased. Lost my cool in the second stint (two punctures) and opened the door for him to take 3rd. Brought home the car in 4th, so with Lofasz finishing 2nd it was a decent haul of points for the team.

Onward to Indianapolis, where hopefully we can avoid something like this:

I had kind of a rough race here tonight , escaped the T-1 and T -2 mishaps , shot up into 4th for a few laps , got rear ended pretty hard and taken out , fell to P6 , raced around at P6 untill a few laps to go , got rear ended again , fell to P8.Actually P7 , AI car was involved.

WOW , What a performance by RACECAR 👍.
This guy was on a mission tonight , I think he was running from the police  , total domination by him , GOOD JOB 👍

Okay, I was concerned with giving you room and making sure I did not knock you off the road.

Speaking of which, I need to check out the Team points as I often get confused on how those work.

Oh gosh, again?:scared:

And wow, can't believe I pulled of the trifecta and strangely enough, with my third win.

No need to give me that much room. You had the acceleration off the line to gain the corner, so my only option was going outside of you. Not happening. I just tried to stay close enough to you so as not to get hit in the back, which didn't happen. :)

Looks like Aguri should be on 65 points after this and Lofus will jump up to 93, increasing the gap to Williams (who should have 76) since Duck was racing without a teammate. You should also take the lead by three points in the drivers championship.. that is, if my maths are correct.

I hope not! And speaking of starts, I just remembered that Magny Cours also has the possibility of the 'lap glitch'. Watch out for that since it's coming up soon. It wasn't on the list fishfash posted a few pages back.

Again, nice driving.

A VERY quite race for me.

After starting 7th I think,I began the race very cautious,up ahead I could see bits and pieces flying had to literally do first lap on the brakes as much as throttle. But managed to not hit or be hit. After that I really had no interaction with anyone, I rode around in 5th all race. But it could have been a lot worse.

Congratulations RACECAR on a STRONG race.👍

There were 2 distinct packs of cars on the track map tonight, and as normal I was stuck in the middle, between 2 worlds.

I was past you, and on the right side of the road, you had plenty of room, you lost your wheel and wing, I lost my rear tyre and rear spoiler, hence I was infront of you.

And at the hairpin, I was on the racing line and saw you fly past me down the inside and not get anywhere near to making the turn.
