I don't want to sound like a petulant child, but I feel it is very unfair that King gets 3rd place for using illegal tactics. He may not have realised what he was doing or it may have been an accident but the rules do clearly state that if you hit someone (especially if it slows them down) then you should wait for them and King did not wait for me on two occasions during the second from last lap and I was clearly quicker.

I think you need to be careful on your wording, Kak. I realise you probably haven't seen his post as you posted so close to each other, but he has said he didn't hit you, from his POV, the lag is a major problem and we shouldn't let it ruin our fun.

I qualified 4th. I got round turn 1 ok then saw the crash between Lew and kak and went past. I had a few bad laps which allowed Lew 2 catch up but then i started matching his times. Just before my second stop i came round a corner and magburner had spun, so i didn't know if his car was a ghost so moved 2 miss him and cut the corner which allowed Lew past. Then after kak's pit stop he was right behind me. We battled for a few laps and he said i hit him but on my screen there was a gap both times between us. Ended up 3rd.

Look, both of you need to be a bit more considerate over a major flaw in F1:CE's online system, its very unreliable at displaying true track position and the status of your fellow competitiors.
If you see a driver you're racing against suddenly disappear off the track, it is more than likely you have caused it through some kind of lag. In these situations we are expected to wait.

However, the flip side is, the driver getting smashed off needs to consider the driver who smashed him may have not noticed he did anything at all because of the lag or notice the lack of a competitor too late to decide whether it was a incident caused by him or his rival's own mistake.

I can't do anything to help this beyond asking people to look for their rivals and make sure they are ok at all times and to never assume they make mistakes by themselves, ok, its sometimes the case, but more often than not it isn't.
I can't penalise people for this beyond not taking enough care, I will take people out if they end up in many of these incidents, but I cannot take action for singular incidents.

I hope you both understand my position on this and king take more care and Kak have more consideration.

I understand Ardius, it's just very frustrating to have qualified 2nd, get hit off and race your heart out, get into the much needed position and then lose it from not looking behind to see what happened.

But anyways..

What will the weather be for Monza?

Good race, started 3rd, I think kakundoo must have braked real early since i was side by side after turn 1 and with no where to go I saw kak spinning off, I waited and let him past.
Couple corners later kak is crashed out looked like a collision with appie?

Started chasing down king from then on and passed him when he made a mistake and took a penalty, from then on out, straight forward race.

Wow, u have to blame for every mistake there is on me?:nervous:

Well anyway, i had a decent start and then i got punted off at the 1st (wich i knew that would happen). From there on i was in no mans land and did my laps, with one penalty. Overall im happy with the results.

Did a 1'28.985, was happy with that with the wheel. LewyOs, how did you manage to hit me when I let you lap me? :D

Did I hit you?

Sorry if I did, nothing on my screen, I thought you just pulled over, didn't loose too much time did you?

Again sorry mate.

Appie

Just saying what I saw, kak at the side of the track with bits of his car over the road, only other car around was yours.

Sorry guys, it's been a crazy couple of weeks. We've been bought out by another company and have had to convert all of their network. This has been the weekend from hell. It's all done now :D.

Again sorry for missing the race, I had planned on being there. S

Sorry Hemi, We'll catch third :D

Forgot to add that this race(TUR) was the first race for me with my wheel on the Fanatec RennSport Wheel Stand that I got a couple of days ago. I think it was quite a help with keeping the wheel and pedals in place while racing. ;) It's not a full fledged cockpit, but it'll do for the time being.

As for the race, I thought I put in a solid effort despite a couple of times that I got shunted into without suffering any damage and the addition of a couple of penalties for cutting corners - both by accident/lack of control.

Also, that colission on the back straight near T11 was something, I was fortunate to be far enough away not to get collected in the wreckage, but did let up on the gas to be safe.

Anyways, on to Monza! I just hope it's not too wet.

Fastest Lap: RACECAR - 1'26.934

Mofongo and Lofasz had problems and were logged out so thats why they aren't seen on the final screen.

Overview: Wow is all I can say, the perfect race for me. I got pole(not what I expected) and had a good start for once all while I saw some wheels and debris flying off people's cars behind me. Mofongo was closing on me for a bit, then ZERO was pursuing me, but I'm guessing he made a error somewhere because I never saw him ever again. Two great and fast pitstops and surprisingly, my fastest lap held up. That KERS is something else:D

Next is Monza, a favorite track of mine. Hopefully whatever conditions there is, I can get around it quick enough.

Well, I decided to forgo Q3 and start P10. How did that go you ask, NOT TOO GOOD  I did manage to miss the turn 1 shunt although it was not as big as I thought it was going to be :indiff: I had made it to P5 by turn 7 but got booted off and lost a couple of spots :grumpy: made up one and was hot on Mofongo's tail on the back stretch when I got a run on him to the outside. He came over, cut across my bow and I spun him out unintentionally but I should have lifted :ouch: I pulled over to let him back by as we both last a couple more positions :ouch::ouch: After Mofongo re spawned we both started running down those who past us :mischievous: it wasn't long before we were running P4 and P5, respectively. After my first stop things started getting a little strange :odd: Mofongo's car had engine failure (he got disconnected) and FormulaNone must have went off and I guess ZERODUCK pitted as I found myself in P2 in the span of a lap  but I still had a stop to make and the Duckmiester got back by me for P2 and I finished P3 25.4 seconds back of winner RACECAR 👍 for I believe my first podium

Well i took my usual starting position at the back, it really would be nice to start at the front, i dont know why we can't have better starts, if everyone would pay just a little bit more attention to whats going on around them, and stop trying to win the race on the first lap, we could have much better racing. I start at the back every week and i can make to the front every week. You guys could probably do the same thing , but you take yourselves out of contetion for a good finnish by not thinking. Everyone in this is fast, we all are pretty close, And i know we all want to win, thats why we are here competing in this tournament. Some of you guys are really getting a lot faster and with that you have more responsibility to the other competitors to pay attention. Im not calling anyone out. It's just my opinion. I have really been impressed with the progressing of some of the guys in this group, hats off to you your doing a FANTASTIC job. On to my race, started at the back finnished 2nd . Congradulations to RC you got all four, pole, fast lap, and the WIN, and you gained points on me, again congratulation. On we go to the next one.

If I've done my math correctly(and thats a really big "if"), The team championship should look like this:

Lofus - 132

Williams - 121

Super Aguri - 121

And now an onboard of Monza, courtesy of Felipe Massa:

No damage, just got shunted out to near the wall, requiring a quick whip of the wheel.

I believe we can minimize the 1st. lap mayhem by practicing a bit more with collision On. We practice so much with collision off that we don't change braking points or racing line, and we think we can carry the same speed to the corner as we do when we can driver through other drivers. I practiced just once with collision on before Istanbul. I put RACEcar out on the first corner. So for the next race, I knew that I needed another approach coming onto T1. So I did. During yesterday's race, me and RACEcar we both made it alive out of T1. I knew his braking point and his line for the first corner so I was able to avoid contact. I will practice with collision on more often from now going forward.

Whats the weather for monza then ardius?
Heavy rain = plenty of fun.

Heavy rain would be a laugh, slipstreaming at 210 MPH with zero visability is GOOOOD! 👍

I hope it is raining, Monza will be a bit strange given that whoever gets pole doesn't neccessarily have an advantage. I've sat in people's draft and caught them up by about 2 secs per lap despite not driving any quicker. Plus it's a bit random, a car can be 8 secs down the road then all of a sudden you feel its draft on certain straights, on certain laps but not always. Must be a glitch. BTW apparently results glitching can happen quite a bit at Monza.

However, the visibility will hamper your braking point serverly. Its hard enough to get a refference points in the dry so I can't imagine the T1 will be smoothly with the rain.

Please don't tell me there is a chance we'll have a repeat of Silverstone:scared:

So are we doing Subs or what? I have to miss this race (Moving Sunday) Internet guy won't be here until monday at the earliest. I also told Hemi he will need to host. 👍

If any of the NTSC drivers are interested, I'll have a practice room open in the Parabolica lobby.

Password is gt5p

Hmmm, I was thinking of running rain but apparently some people couldn't keep their mouths shut about it :P

I will be updating the tables tonight and I'll post the weather then, I'm still deciding what would be most interesting.

Edit: Tables updated, corrected Sureboss' new name (finally, lol). Hope you enjoy the weather and I hope it reflects this weeks Malaysian GP's weather too, I'd like to see it rain, but not so much that the race is stopped.
