Warning: We aren't responsible for any possible broken bones, blood loss or death as a result of sliding this thing too much and crashing it as a result. Be warned.

Anywho, this MR2 is, as if the warning didn't give it away, super slidey. Still doesn't stop it from being a fun pot though, and it has decent enough speed to do a good job in the racing division too. Well, if you can keep it straight.

So prepare for a slidey time and enjoy yourself.

If you can't get a CT230R, this can surely suffice. OK, the CT230R has been fixed now Spec II has come out, but even so, come on...this one's even road legal!

This Evo 7 has been modified into a very CT230R-like car, with the same very short gears, same sound  and a very similar feel. It feels very fast, and believe me, it is.

So, this is what you take when the CT230R simply isn't enough...although it usually is.

I think there's something wrong with the transmission settings for the EVARGT-02.

I think there's something wrong with the transmission settings for the EVARGT-02.

No, that's just how they're set up. They could be a lot longer but I did all testing on Tokyo R246, which has a very long straight, and I was literally mm's away from the limiter most of the time.

Actually, the problem is that I can't even get to those gear ratios. Did you use some kind of trick to achieve those ratios?

Actually, the problem is that I can't even get to those gear ratios. Did you use some kind of trick to achieve those ratios?

...Yes I did, actually. You have to set the final to the absolute top value it can be before changing anything else, then you set the gear ratios as put down.

I wonder, who will be the next character to get a tuned car?

Big guns...
little clothing.

(Time for another game of Guess that Character, FYI.)

The Elise 111R is one of the most tuned cars in the game still, and while some like our Elise GT stay simply modified, this Elise is fully race modified. It is a full mod minus extra exhaust parts, and is actually surprisingly calm despite the MR drivetrain. Have fun driving this thing.

Katie Hart's Elise is quite an entity when fully modded. With this setup, her Elise becomes a speedster with no room to lose races.

This is very similar to the Elise above. Katie's Elise might have 7 more PP, but they have the same p/w ratio, the same basic principle and the same good feel. The question is...which is faster? You decide.

The 190 E Evo II is the most awesome Mercedes ever. Period.

So we decided to improve on it. While it isn't a full tune, it acts similarly to the average German saloon - albeit with the exact opposite style of a normal German saloon. Whereas a normal German saloon is hugely powerful and heavy, this is less powerful but a lot lighter. Still makes it very good through the corners, mind you...

You might also be confused with the gearbox setting with this. However, the gearbox is actually set up to give the car a 155mph 'limiter', like other German saloons. Technically, rather than being an electronic limiter (as other German saloons use for their 155mph limiters), the 5th gear on this acts more like a cruise gear to get the 155mph limiter. Didn't stop it from necessarily breaking it in testing, though...

The explanation for the name is as follows. The AMG part obviously comes from the performance unit of Mercedes, the 190E name is obviously a feature, the E-Class name is joined to it just because. The "Evoll" part comes from the fact that when I played GT4 when I was younger, I always thought that the meaning of the extra section of the Touring Car literally said "EvoLL", not a shortage of "Evo II". Silly naming schemes always confused me  Mind you, it is some part of Evolution...

Note: Be very careful when braking with this thing. If you aren't, your life could be led to an untimely death. Thank you for reading this message.

VW have conquered the seas. They have conquered the hot hatch. They have conquered the Samba. And now...they're shooting for the skies.

This modified Volkswagen Schwimmwagen goes far beyond a normal stock versions capabilities. Everyone hates it, that's for sure, due to it being a 'pointless' addition to the game. Fact is though, every one of the classic VWs in this game though...I love 'em.

And that's why I bought this, and am happy with this result. So, haters, when you do buy one of these, and give it a full mod like this, maybe you'll think twice...right?

Here is a Honda Integra that is one of two things. It is either a) a really high-voiced princess that gives headaches but is also incredibly boss or b) an internet hit who creates some of the best music ever heard.

At first, with the wrong driving style, this Integra may seem rather bad. It may seem understeery like a normal FF, not have enough speed at the high end, and sound a lot, lot higher than you would be expecting (this can't be helped, sadly :().

But when you learn how to drive this thing, it becomes unbeatable. Nothing can stop it. It is very fast, huge fun to drive and, by the end of it all, maybe you will get used to that all too high-pitched sound by the end of it.

This is Nia(n Cat) Type-R, and she either a) asks what this is or b) says 'Nyan'. Enjoy. ;)

This Toyota Celica has been sitting in my garage now for quite a while...better get to releasing it while it's still here.

Despite being named after a Mac product/animal, the Celica rightfully deserves its name due to its great snow ability. It's probably for the best it was released like this, otherwise it might have ended up as a contender for the Touge Shootout. Speaking of shootouts...I still have no intention to enter the Roadster Shootout this time.

Yes, Def Leppard may be British, but a) they're a rock band, so an American car is fitting and b) it's funny, because the Celica above is clearly called Snow Leopard.

This Charger is built to do what they're meant to do - 1/4 mile drags. Try this with anything else and it'll go badly wrong. Use it there, and it'll rock. Try it and see if you get any results.

This is a 1000bhp Toyota Supra SZ-R.

Except it isn't really. It's only got 363bhp, which is why there's a trollface on the top of it.

Regardless, this Supra still drives pretty well given what it isn't. It doesn't feel as fast as it should be, even with the power it actually has, but regardless, it's a fine drive. Just...don't try this with an RZ. It's not one.

BMWs M Division never tuned up a 2002 Turbo ever. So, what if they did?

This would be the result. Obviously some of the tuning is a bit exaggerated, but apart from that it's fine. Think CSL Batmobile, made smaller and better handling (probably). Enjoy.

Here is a super powerful tune for you - the Mercedes-Benz SL 1000 Twin Turbo AMG.

Technically, a Mid Range Turbo Kit will give you more performance and still reach the 1000 mark. However, here, we've just gone all out for the power. Even Brabus wouldn't think to try this. The result is a 244mph run down SSR7s tunnel, and the car itself tends to come with some surprisingly good cornering.

Now, go out there and speed away into the distance. Nothing will see you ever again. Ever...

Mini Review- Mitsubishi Evo VII 'Epic long name that I can't be arsed to type out'
As you said, it is basically a CT230R clone that you can take into road legal cars only races. And as such, some of the minor flaws the CT230R had still remain. There's a little bit of off throttle understeer, and……that's it. Really. The brakes are a little bit…soft, but nothing else I need to point out. Now, nitpicking over, allow me to show you the more brilliant sides of this CT230R facsimile.

First…the go. Thanks to that close ratio 'box, acceleration is explosive for what little power this car has. You are constantly on the redline, it accelerates that quickly. Then there's the cornering. I'd say that this car imitates the HKS' cornering abilities very well. There is immense grip, just like the HKS. It holds its line in the corners very well, there's not much understeer to speak of unless you lift off the throttle. It feels very confident and sure-footed and most like the HKS, it rips lap times apart. It's only 0.5 of a second away from a MFT Evo RM. That should put it into perspective of how fast it is in my hands.

All in all, this road legal CT230R clone is an Evo that I can honestly say I like. I feel it does everything the CT230R sets out to do, but it just does it in the understated manner of a Evo. The only thing you need to do to make it that bit closer to being a CT230R for the road is paint it chrome red.

Yea, the thing's name is longer than the review, but just take it for now. And I'll just add this, it was good enough to actually inspire me to do something productive with the Evo V I have lying around. Imma makin' it into one of these! :D

Mini Review- Mitsubishi Evo VII 'Epic long name that I can't be arsed to type out'

Thanks much for that review. Nice to see the CT230R's Standard Cousin has done its job. Would imagine that it would balance out pretty well in 550PP lobbies...

As a quick note, thanks to Apokalipse for donating this to me. Not sure if the tradeoff was fair but eh 👍

Anyway, this RS6 is almost blindingly fast now with a completely fully modded engine making 763bhp now. Funny thing is though...no weight reduction. So therefore you can cruise to your workplace with speed and with comfort. And despite the 1840kg weight, the setup has meant that understeer is not prominent, even despite the lack of modification on the torque distribution either (it's still 45/55 as stock).

However, Audi drivers, this is not a car which you can drive like a snob in. If you do, you will probably be dead. Hah! :sly:

Stop press! While this may indeed be a Honda S2000 tune, it is actually not designed for the 450PP Roadster Shootout. Partially because it's overspecced obviously, partially because I decided not to enter, partially because this would be another S2000, among other reasons.

Even so, this tune is still a very fast little buzzer. It's even black and yellow, for christ's sake! Should have called it the hornet myself, goddamnit. :ouch: Even so, the handling is smooth, the car is surprisingly fast for its little power and this car with a bit of extra tweaking might be able to hang in with 500PPers.

Consider this the warmdown for any 450PP roadster testers. If you've been warped by the closely matched speeds of all of them, maybe this will bring you back to your senses. (Well, any tuner S2000 will really. Apart from the S2k Turbo, that's non-sensical entirely.)

Most people tend to think of the Honda Civic as a truly stereotypical ricer candidate. I don't find many here, with the normal case of tuned up cars coming from Peugeot 106s, 205s, 306s, Citroen Saxos and Vauxhall Corsas.

Regardless, this team has tried to build up a Civic as a ricer. This is the current in testing model, which hasn't been finished yet, but is partially ricered up for now. Giant Wing makes an appearance, along with massive weight reduction and fully tuned suspension and differentials are here as well. Either way, the Civic in its current state does at least feel decent, not to mention having some remarkably round stats - 200hp, 900kg, 420PP, making it a very well rounded car for use online.

But really, if I had to choose a car to rice, it would be a Saxo. Pity I have to go back to GT2 for that. :(

Now time for a tale of what I believe to now be my absolute favourite FF in the whole game. Bar none. No Eclipse could come near this, nor FTO, Integra, Civic, Mirage, Celica...because this Lantis beats them all. Wait...what?

Thing is, this Lantis is a miracle among FFs. When I picked it up for what was just for it looking good really and me therefore liking it, I decided to give it a few mods just because. Little did I know what was to follow...

The first sign of my love for this car is the crazy method of wing attachment for this thing. The wings on this car, rather than logically being attached to the back of the hatch, actually come up with holders on the edges of the rear windows. Hence why I believe you should fit it it you're using this thing for lols. Makes it look like a hatchback from the front view of it too

I then decided to fit it with some of the cheaper mods, which didn't make as much of a change as possible but still adjusted the car in a large way, with much power change and a decent amount of weight loss. I then fitted it with the LSD and Height-Adjustable Suspension, gave it a truly awesome sounding Semi-Racing Exhaust (with a superbly high sound at high revs and the ability to seemingly hear the turbo in the lower revs ), then went to Eiger with it. I wasn't expecting much with the car being an FF, was expecting some understeer more than anything to begin with.

I was wrong. This car handles better than any FF I've driven - and this is on Sports Medium tyres, remember, and I think it actually handles better than Nian Cat Type R. Which is an achievement in itself...

And to cap it off, the engine underneath is in actual fact a 2.0 V6. Which makes this perhaps the best FF ever and a Mazda that even the 787B cannot match for awesomeness...no joke.

When you see one of these, pick it up. Trust me, your disappointment will be non-existant with this thing. Thing is...no one has ever bought one before in the first place...:(

This is the McLaren MSG-4U "Messenger". And it does not care about your problems.

With all its power it will taunt at everything and leave it behind in a flash. It scares cars to death, it is more stealthy than a stealth bomber and it just in general shows up to cause all around it misery.

So put it into your hands and feel the power burning through your DS3/G25/7/DFGT/T500RS etc. Make speed your brethren with this thing.
