Spray painting is still a possibility. There was move tech demo that showed it. And remember GT5 is listed as move supporting title.

That last one is either Racing Modification or Racing Number, I would think. But it looks great. They actually WASH the car instead of doing the Hot Wheels Car Wash thing.

If you read the little print under "GT Auto", it says it will make your car to racing modification. If you can make any road car into a racer, looks like multi-class racing at Le Mans online can happen :dopey:. SWEET

In the higher quality video of the weather trailer we can see glowing brake discs on the LMP's!!

Glowing brakes have been in GT for years. Was anybody seriously NOT expecting them to be there? That they would actually take OUT visual features already present in earlier games?

I did assume that they would make a return, but until now we never saw an example of it :)

Plus many people were wondering if they would come back, questions have been answered!

I'm sure i speak on every ones behalf when i say.

I just didn't think this kind of stuff would be possible this gen....it's mind altering, The rain effects, the snow the effects, the night lighting, Like the use of real time headlights that very from HID-regular halogens, I just...didn't think it was possible this gen, maybe next, But, this is just staggering, the amount of love and detail put into this game, And I'm sure today and here on out every body recognizes what a game with a loving development time could be like. And there not even done, now there working on GT6, simply astonishing.

I can just remember the things said about GT5, Stagnant, stopped evolving, passed us the baton, GT is no longer relevant etc. then i sit back, and look at this like, Kaz and PD have done the impossible, It's just so much damn detail packed in it's sickening. ...PD Just Bravo.

You sir deserve a round of applause, a truly moving speech. And some ask why we think of PD as gods....THIS is why!

If i lived closer i would buy you a drink!

The next major feature unveiled was Dynamic Weather which, as you would guess, means the game will throw varying weather systems at you, and you’ve only minimal control over it (like a ‘suggested’ weather type, ranging from Sunny to Cloudy and finally Stormy. These changes simulate everything from temperature and humidity to pressure and beyond. There’s rain, snow, hail, sun, dirt, wind - the works, and it’s all dynamic and may of may not happen at night. So surface conditions will often change and depending on the time of day and your skill level, you might need to brace for impact.

That was it from the guys, though during the Q&A at the end, Yamauchi revealed a funny nugget of info where his engineers apparently cry every day that they’re working on a game of this nature to solid specs of 60 frames-per-second and at 1080p, but when asked if it was actually all that solid, he candidly responded that, ultimately, there wasn’t always going to be a perfect run of things, and that if everything was dialed up on-screen at one time, ie full, crazy weather effects, multiple cars etc, we might very well see the slightest drop in frame-rate. He also said that for that, he hopes we forgive him

Respect for Kazunori and his team.

Really shows the true power of the PS3

Slightest drop in frame-rate...thats amazing, that's something i'd expect from a ยฃ2000 pc gaming rig, not a PS3 :D
