I would be up for this series depending on the days and times of the races. I didn't see any info on that yet. The Speed 6 RM is a fun car to race.

They will be on sundays starting in a few weeks time but I am not signing anyone on until everyone from the last series has joined on.

I'm up for the next series! I suppose 'll be attempting to keep my title as LCS Champion! Europa, as we've made arrangements outside of this thread you of course know we'll be teaming up. I'll leave you to put that up on the board.

Me and my brother (TeamLotus_Seven) are teaming up, and are paint seam is going to be white with black alloys. I hope to see a lot of people on the grid for this next season.

TeamLotusGT5 Update: We are having a good shake down test at Indianapolis. We have found some good combinations for down force levels, and we are now seeing how long we can make the tires last at race pace.

Another TeamLotusGT5 Update coming after tomorrows test.

i believe we are making good progress :)

Fixed for you Esprit!

I too have been lapping the new car around Indy and all I can say is I'm impressed! At first, with stock settings make, you have a car that is very 'understeery'. I have tuned most of it out so I get a nice sharp turn in. After a few laps I was lapping in the mid 1:29s, I'm sure I can take a good amount of time off this.

It looks like we'll have to do some publicity, Europa!

Thanks. I was trying to do a lanch of our car. :)

I m in!

Xeriff u still looking for a teammate?

Bugger,

Thanks for the offer but didnt ask you or baku as we were in the top 3 of the last race. Maybe I should have made the unstoppable team.

Got a friend from the lotus forums who is coming in to race with me. New blood etc etc.

Shame we didnt get him for the elise series as we both own the real thing. (well maybe not RMed with 319 hp)

Nice pictures Esprit! It's good to see some enthusiasm for the next series. How are you finding the car? Like I said, it was feeling very understeery!

This is my half of Red Cow Racing!

I'm glad that I joined a team that allowed me to use my colour scheme, red and white, and my favourite number '7'.

I am also wondering if everyone would be able to get me a small thumbnail of their team's colour scheme. I am having some ideas about making the leader board more visual! The example of what I mean can be seen below, all you need to do is switch the car to 'share with friends' in-game and then sign in to GT5 online where the car will appear in your profile. You can then save and post the image here!

After my second practice and tuning run at Indy I'm running at a consistent yet conservative 1:30.000 pace. My best so far is 1:28.340 with a good few tenths to make time up on in the future. I'm not finding the car too kind on tyres, I seem to need a new set of front tyres after about 10 laps. This leads me to a suggestion!

I have been thinking about the idea of Racing Hard tyres, so long as we maintain the compulsory pit stop we should also maintain close racing yet give a much more open pit strategy. This could also add to the competitiveness between teams, different teams and team members on different tyre strategies could lead to exciting races! What does everyone think? I like the idea of choosing between Hard and Soft.

hi,

i like the sound of this competition and would like to add my name to the waiting list of drivers who can register once it is known how many of the original drivers will attend this season.

i read earlier in the thread that races are currently scheduled to run on sundays @ 4pm UMT - is this the same as 4pm GMT? (and are the races still scheduled for these days and times?)

PSN: HortusIX

thanks

Good to see someone else on-board! I think when you mean 'UMT' you actually mean UTC, this stands for Universal Time Current and, yes, it is exactly the same as GMT. It has become standard practice to refer to time zones in UTC +/- so that's what has been done to try and make it easier for some to understand.
