My entry.
(do I have to mark it as my final entry only if I'm changing my entry or what?)
[Nor]MclarenF1;5063932Stand up and spin 10 times, point. Repeat 19 times. Problem solved.
Looks like it's going to be a looong day for you
Do I have to take a new pic or can I use one I already have?
Does it have to be taken in black and white or can I take a color pic and edit out the color?
It can be either new or old, and you can edit a colour pic or it can be taken in black and white, as long as it's a fully desaturated picture, and complies with the rules on the first page of the thread, it counts
kiosI can use a picture I took in color and photoshop go to black and white? , sorry for my bad English
As the contest rules that everyone ought to carefully read before posting indicate:
[*]Mark your FINAL ENTRY clearly, with red text.
[*]You may change your entry once. Do it clearly; edit out your previous entry, and
either post the new one in a new reply, or in place of the original.
Thus, your final entry must be marked as such. Changing your entry requires a different process.
Right, wasn't sure if "Final entry" counted as any entry or only if you changed it. I did read the rules by the way.
Anyway, thanks and I've edited my post with the entry.
Since this is my first 2.0 entry, I'm a bit nervous. But I'm just asking to see if it's allowed. I've added the Black and White filter in GIMP. And adjusted the curve value. Some other coloring options were added though. And I'm sure that there's anything wrong with it.
Terronium-12: I've been putting together my top 20 using full-size images, since detail is very important to me. Do you happen to have a link to a full-size, or is this 500 pixel preview the largest I can view? Thanks!
Hmmm, Dolp's entry feels HDR-ish to me, but I'm not completely sure. Mind shedding some light (heh) on it, Dolp?
No HDR at all : post processing under Lightroom3 only (don't have any soft to make HDR even if I'm thinking at sometimes)
Dolp: Thanks for responding to Slip's concerns. As far as I'm concerned, your image is fine... now, with 60+ images for me to narrow down to 20, it still might not make it, but at least it won't be for that reason!
Actually, it is not black and white. If you copy that image and open it in photoshop and desaturate it you can definitely tell that it's not b&w. Definitely some greens and browns in there.
Congrats on entering the 2.0 for the first time, Fishy. It does look like there's a bit of a dutone effect, or color cast - for the sake of simplicity, I'm asking for strictly B/W images. Go ahead and edit it down, removing the colored toning and resubmit. Best of luck!

It looks better desaturated btw. So Dolp, you might want to check that out before the end of this.
That's what I thought. I can see it clearly, especially the greens!
Yeah, I'll fix that. It'll probably even look better without it.
Edited entry on post #134.
It's hopefully okay now.
