Race Percentage Completion
Drivers must complete atleast 85% of the overall race length or he/she will not earn a single championship point (bonus points is kept).
Points classification will move up accordingly. This means any D2 driver can earn as much as finishing second overall.

Bonus Points/Race Percentage completion:
Pole Position: 3p
Fastest Lap: 2p
Finishing race: All drivers will receive points if atleast 10% of the race is completed before a DC.% completion points:
0-9: 0p
10-19: 1p
20-29: 2p
30-39: 3p
40-49: 4p
50-59: 5p
60-69: 6p
70-85: 7p
86-90: 8p
91-95: 9p
96-100: 10p

Participation
To accommodate real life commitments, only the top 8 races will be counted into your standings.

Bonus points
Cannot be removed from the total score. If a driver completes 11/11 races and got 110 bonus points (10 bonus points/race), those points are kept.
This applies even when 3 rounds are dropped. This rule applies to Finished Races, Finished Race Percentage, Pole Positions, and Fastest Laps.

::::: CODE OF RACING CONDUCT :::::

Drafted by Masi_23 in collaboration with Denilson and their WSGTC peers. All rights belong to the original author/s and its affiliates. In no case shall the following be copied with no prior permission from the original author/s. All rights reserved.

I. Gentleman's Rule
a. Any GT300 car can use the entire width of the track, however, as soon as it is caught by a fast approaching GT500 car, the GT300 driver must hold its line and allow the faster car to go through at the first available opening.
b. If for some reason the GT300 driver has been caught up in traffic and is unable to hold it's line, he must do his best to allow the GT500 car go to past by him at the most safe and opportune time.
c. Any GT500 car can use its high beams to indicate an overtake. Any GT300 driver that chooses to ignore the signal multiple times will be reported to the Stewards.

II. Passing
a. Who has the right of way into a corner will depend on the positions of the cars. If an overtaking car is fully alongside its competitor within or after the braking point, the rights to the corner goes to the overtaking driver.
b. The car being overtaken must surrender the position and should not turn in to the other driver.
c. If the overtaking driver is not fully alongside its competitor within or after the turn-in point, the rights belong to the driver ahead, and it is the obligation of the car attempting to overtake to give the other driver room and do everything possible to prevent an incident.
d. Peripheral vision is limited in Sim Racing so it is advised that you maximize the available resources we have, such as mirrors, track maps, and audio cues like engine and exhaust notes, to prevent incidents.
e. Situational awareness is vital. Not seeing your opponent will not be a valid excuse if you are involved in an incident.

III. Defensive Driving
a. Depending on the situation, any car can be overtaken from either side of the track. You can defend your position only 'once' by changing the position of your car in relation to the track.
b. Anything aggressive such as sudden movements (when the overtaking car is about to pass and is very close) are strictly forbidden.
c. Deliberately squeezing a car beyond the edge of the track or any other unusual change of direction are strictly forbidden.
d. Driving down a straight and placing your car off or opposite the driving line far in advance before the braking zone, forcing your opponent to take the outside line or a different line in general, is considered a reasonable strategy for defending your position.
e. This counts as 'one move' (III-a.). Any further movements will be deemed as illegal blocking.
f. Rule (e.) may differ from each track in the calendar, notices will be posted prior to the race to accommodate unique variations from each venues (length and width - ex. Nurburgring, La Sarthe).

IV. Car Contact
a. Car contact will be strictly regulated to ensure a disciplined racing environment.
b. Any close or minimal contact with another car with small to no effect to the race outcome will be tolerated.
c. Any contact that causes any damage to another car/s is deemed illegal and will be subject to penalties.
d. Any car that gains a spot/s through contact with another car, must relinquish the said spot/s or he will be subjected to penalties.
e. Drafting must be conducted carefully. You cannot bump draft another car if you are about to enter the braking zone.
f. If by any case, an incident and or damage is caused by drafting, the drafting car (behind) will be deemed responsible at most cases.
g. A car ahead of drafting tandem/pack cannot be deemed responsible for any incident/damage if he commenced braking at a reasonable point inside the braking zone.
h. Reckless and overall aggressive driving will not be tolerated.

V. Track Contact
a. Drivers must always keep 2 wheels on (or vertically in line with) the track at all times.
b. The edges of the track are marked with white lines and are considered to be a part of the track. Gray/Concrete cobbles are part of the tack.
c. The Rumble Strips are part of the track; however, all surfaces with green paint, either beside it or be the rumbles themselves, are not part of the track.
d. Do not hit any objects visible or invisible (eg. cones, barriers, walls, etc.)

In a situation where the driver goes off the track, and without prejudice to part (e) below, he may rejoin, only when it is safe and without gaining any advantage.
Also, if a driver unintentionally or intentionally leaves the track and gains a spot, he must relinquish that spot or he will be penalized.

e. Drivers committing serious mistakes repeatedly or seem to have a problem with keeping the car on the track would be reported to the Stewards and could result in penalties.

At any given time during the season, drivers are expected to follow these rules. Any driver who deliberately appears to break any of these rules to gain advantage at any stage in the race or the season could be penalized by the Stewards.

t1.jpg

::::: PENALTY SYSTEM :::::

Stewards have the power to impose various penalties on a driver if he commits an offence during a race. Offences include jumping the start, causing an avoidable accident, unfairly blocking another driver, impeding another driver when being lapped, or gaining an advantage by leaving the track. Penalties will vary depending on severity of offence. Stewards can impose time penalties, reprimand a driver, exclude him from the results, or suspend him from the next race.

I. Offences
  • Breach of the required vehicle specs and 'Race Rules' (minimum DQ)
  • Breach of the 'Gentleman's Rule' (minimum 10 second penalty)
  • Breach of Track Contact Rules (minimum 10 second penalty)
  • False Start (Passing before start finish of Rolling Start) (minimum 10 second penalty)
  • Avoidable contact resulting to damage and/or lost time (minimum 25 second penalty)
  • Hindering drivers from overtaking by changing directions more than once (minimum 10 second penalty)
  • Illegal blocking/forcing cars off track (minimum 10 second penalty)
  • Not relinquishing gained position/s after going off track (minimum +25 second penalty)
  • Not relinquishing gained position/s after contact with another car (minimum +10 second penalty)
  • Rejoining track after an off without regards to oncoming traffic (minimum +10 second penalty)
  • Overall aggressive driving (minimum warning)
  • Breach of Probation (exclusion for the whole season)
Any of the above can add up together resulting to bigger timed penalties and/or Disqualification.

II. Penalties
Specifics
  • +10 seconds to Total Time
  • +25 seconds to Total Time
  • +40 seconds to Total Time
  • +5 spots down the grid to next race
  • Exclusion from Results (DQ)
  • Suspension for 1 Race + Probation for whole season
  • Exclusion from the whole season
Breach of Racing Code - IV. Track Contact
Three Strike System
Strike 1: Warning
Strike 2: +10 seconds
Strike 3: +25 seconds (May depend after Steward deliberation)
Further track contact violations will result to bigger timed penalties and/or Disqualification.

III. Reporting an Incident
Issues must be first kept privately between the parties involved (through the PM system). If the said parties do not come to a mutual agreement, the issue must be escalated and reported to the Stewards within 24 hours after the race, otherwise, penalties will not be given out or considered unless it is noted by the Steward. If you are involved, it is your responsibility to inform the Stewards of your side of the story within the 24 hours. However, not sending a report does not mean you will not be subjected to penalties. Stewards can observe replays and can apply penalties as seen fit without the notice of the parties involved. Furthermore, if a Steward/s is/are involved in an incident, he/she will be excluded temporarily from the Stewards Committee.

Please disclose important information about incidents along with your report.
  • Lap/Time when incident occurred
  • How long did incident occur (approx.)
  • How many were involved
  • Who was/were involved

Deliberation Process
  • An incident is reported and/or noted by Drivers/Stewards
  • Stewards will contact driver/s in potential fault
  • After hearing both parties, Stewards will review the replay and give suitable penalties.

Enforcing Penalties
Penalties will be strictly enforced. They can neither be appealed nor reversed.

::::: RULES & REGULATIONS :::::

CodeofRacingConductPNG12.png

This is your Bible. Respect this and read it WELL and THROUGH!

* Your car must be modded as listed below! Follow this accordingly or you will be penalized!
* Chasis rigidity is banned on all cars except for the NSX, where it is optional

bLVoM.jpg

ATTENTION: BHP are not exactly the same to all NSX's. Make sure to stay at 610 pp when aero is maxed out and everything will be fine.
You may reduce your aero settings, but you can not make up for the pp lost by upgrading your engine (turn up the power limiter e.t.c.).

Banned Cars: Honda EPSON NSX, Lexus ENEOS SC430 and Nissan WOODONE ADVAN CLARION GT-R.

7ko86.jpg

Tires: Racing Hard
Oil Change: Allowed
Engine Overhaul: Allowed
Chassis Restoration: Allowed
Installing Modified/Aftermarket Parts: Banned! (Unless it's in the list above)
Tuning (Suspension, Aero, Trans, Brakes, LSD): Allowed
Weight Ballast Tuning: Banned! (If forced upon you as a penalty, ballast is used)
Power Percentage Tuning: Banned! (It's only allowed for some cars according to the list in post #5)

All cars must follow the list above as far as modding goes. The PP stated for each car is with it's AERO set to max. You may change
your AERO, but your engine specs/Power curve/Power limiter can NOT be changed to make up for the PP lost due to reducing AERO.

Race Distance: 175km-250km
Mandatory Formation/Parade Lap: 1 (Nurburgring 24h and La Sarthe will not be run with a full formation-lap)
Mandatory Pit Stop: 1
Damage: Heavy

ABS: Optional (Not higher than "1")
Driving Line: Off
Active Steering: Off
Traction Control: Off
Skid Recovery Force: Off
Active Stability Management: Off
Grip Reduction on Wet Track/Tracks Edge: Real
Mic/Headsets: Off

* Do not buy any upgrades that are not listed/approved with the plan to remove/downtune it later.

Qualifying will be held through live online sessions. Any success ballast incurred to a driver will not be applied during qualifying.

Procedure
  • A group of drivers per class will be given 2 flying laps to set a qualifying lap. The race will be set to 4 laps; 1 outlap, 2 flying laps,
1 "cool down" (If more than 1 driver are qualifying, we need the 4th lap to not put any stress on the last driver in the pack since he
technically could be more than 180 seconds behind the first car, depending on how many cars are in the session at the same time).
  • Laps will be run in 'Race' and will depend on track size (Standard=2 laps).
  • Laps will be monitored and watched by fellow competitors to validate cleanliness.
  • The number of cars allowed to run in each session will depend on track length.
  • Once the race has been started by the host, cars will roll on their warm up lap.
  • Drivers must leave gaps between each other to allow sufficient space (around 20-30 seconds).
  • The standard '2 wheel on track at all times' rule will apply (Check Post #3 for Racing Conduct 'Ch.IV Track Contact').
  • Once finished, spectators will declare if their assigned driver ran a clean or dirty lap.
  • If a protest arises over a doubtful or dirty lap, the replay will be saved by the host and checked by the stewards.
  • If confirmed dirty, a timed penalty will be imposed depending on the severity of the offense (Standard 5 seconds).
  • The process will be until all drivers that are confirmed for the race have qualified.
  • For the Longer circuits, the procedure will be the same as for the "normal" quali, with the exeption that you'll only get 1 lap to
set your time, and the "Startline" will be from sector 2 at La Sarthe and sector 4 at Nurburgring 24h.

  1. If a driver runs into ANY trouble during an official qualifying session, the session can under no circumstance restart. Unless: Someting happens
during the outlap, and you're the only car on track, the session can restart as long as the timer for the first flying lap has not been activated.
  2. If a driver does not complete the 4th lap, and the replay file is corrupt, he runs the risk of not getting an official time, EVEN if the lap was
watched and verified clean by a spectator. (It's VERY important that you end the 4th lap)
  3. If a driver disconnects during a session, he may reconnect and drive up to that at which he got DC'd. If the DC occurs while on the 1st (2nd lap)
qualy-lap, he may restart and this time ONLY his 2nd (3rd lap) qualy-lap will be valid. The lap where the driver got DC'd counts as "dirty" with
    no registered lap-time.
  4. If the car that DC's has any form of damage, but still are able to reconnect and restart his session, that drivers must damage his car to the
same grade of damage that the car had just before he got DC'd.
  5. If a qualy-lap is "dirty", there are 2 scenarios.
    a. If a lap-time beyond any doubt was slower due to an "off track/dirty" situation, no penalty is given and the lap-time stays.
    b. If a lap-time could have gained any time what so ever due to an "off track/dirty" situation, a penalty of 5 seconds will be applied to the lap-time.

Qualifying Deadline: Friday 10.00 am CET / 09.00 am BST / 08.00 am UTC and Thursday 23.59 PM (PACIFIC STANDARD TIME) / 3.00 AM (EST). The deadlines are Fridays (UTC/CET)
and midnight Thursday night for PST/EST of the week each race is scheduled. Around 20 hours are left prior to race to give organizers time to sort the grid, view replays,
find hosts e.t.c. Under no circumstance can a Qualifying lap be run after the deadline has passed.

Any of the Stewards or Capable Hosts, under the supervision of a Steward/Capable Host, can announce and open a qualifying session at any time.
No qualifying sessions can be conducted after Thursday (Friday, depending on time zone). Qualifying will be completed on hard Racing Tyres.

The grid will be set by running a formation/parade lap. After the race countdown reaches zero, you must hold your positions! DO NOT MOVE ONE INCH!.
Remember your spot from the qualifying results, as well as the drivers in front of and behind you.

Same class:
Cars move from the grid ONE by ONEin qualifying order. The Pole car drives up and parks about 100 m (300 ft) a head. (WHILE DOING SO, THE OTHER CARS
DO NOT MOVE ONE INCH
). As he passes the start-line, the next driver can move up, and so on. When all cars are in the correct position and are NOT moving,
the pole car may start the formation lap.

Mixed class
GT300's will sort their grid positions first. While GT300's sort their grid, GT500's DO NOT MOVE. GT300 cars move from the grid ONE by ONE in qualifying order.
The Pole car drives up and parks about 100 m (300 ft) ahead. (WHILE DOING SO, THE OTHER CARS DO NOT MOVE ONE INCH). As he pases the start line, the
next driver can move up, and so on. Once all cars are in the correct position and are NOT moving, the pole car may start the first of two formation laps. When
the first lap is completed, be sure to pass the parked GT500 pack with caution. As soon as the GT300 pack have passed the GT500 pack (It's not always that GT300's need to pass the GT500's to lead the formation lap, details will be provided by the host before race start), the GT500's may pull
away from the start line ONE by ONE in starting order. From here on, GT300's lead the formation lap, with GT500's about 45-60 seconds behind.

We use this procedure to try and ensure that all cars got a decent chance of completing the race before the timer (max 180 sec) runs out. By doing this, we
also get finishing times for (hopefully) all cars making any penalties incurred easier to apply.

With this in mind, follow the steps below:
  • First, you must remember your Grid Spot (Super Lap Qualifying).
  • Hold your positions when countdown reaches zero.
  • Cars will make their way ONE BY ONE to the front and roll as a separate pack.
  • Cars must roll at a maintained pace of 55 mph / 90 kmh.
  • Field will roll double file (Single file for the Nurburgring 24h race).
  • Odd numbers will start on the inside lane relative to turn 1.
  • Even numbers will stay on the outside lane (Opposite side).
  • The Pole sitter will decide the point at which the race starts as he approaches the start-finish line.
  • You must maintain a minimum of One car length between you and the car in front (same lane).
  • One car length is the minimum, meaning it's up to you how large the gap is.
  • You must always maintain FULL visual contact with the ahead of you (opposite lane).
  • You're front bumper must not overlap the rear bumper of the car ahead of you (oposite lane), doing so can be viewed as a false start and a penalty can be applied as a result.
  • You must wait for the car ahead of you (opposite lane) to accelerate before you do!
  • No passing before the start finish line! Penalties will be strictly enforced for false starts, illegal passing, and overall aggressive driving!

* In case of a disconnect during the formation lap; cars behind must maintain position and can NOT move up the grid. Doing so can result in a penalty for breach of "jump start".

Diagram of an ideal rolling pack
Grid2.jpg

Real Life Example of a Rolling Start:

Mixed Class: There will be 2 races held which will be split into two rooms. Each race/grid will consist of Seven GT500 cars and seven GT300 cars.
The top seven qualifiers for each class will end up Division 1, while the bottom seven will go to Division 2.

Same Class: GT500 and GT300 cars will battle their own kind. There will be only one room per class. Top 14 qualifying times will make this single-room event.

Hosts: Announced 20 hours prior to the race.

Podium Finishers from each classes will be incurred Success Ballast Penalties (added weight) for the following race. Success Ballast Penalties can only
be removed 20kg at a time if you miss the podium the very next race. Ballast will accumulate depending on your success. Your ballast stays with you even if you miss a race, you can only get ballast reduced if you finish 4th or lower in a race. Ballast will only be added for races, all qualifying runs are done without incurring any weight penalties.
There is no mandated location or weight distribution for your ballast weight; you may change the position, just not the weight, at any time and at your discretion.
Each class has separate systems as shown below.
GT500 Class:
1st: 60 kg - Will depend on the Race Percentage Completion will affect the rest of the field.
2nd: 40 kg
3rd: 20 kg

GT300 Class:
1st: 50 kg
2nd: 30 kg
3rd: 10 kg

*To be able to remove ballast, you have to finish at least 75% of the race leangth. This is to ensure that no one participates for just a few laps to get ballast removed.

ALL drivers must be in the room atleast 15 minutes prior the race. If not, you will be excluded from the race, and all drivers below will move up accordingly.
We need to have 15 minutes to make sure that drivers have the time to change rooms/coming in from waiting lists. If you know that you'll be late, make sure to
notify the Host for your race in advance. If you do not notify the host, your spot will go to someone from D2/Waiting list as stated above.

All drivers must stay tuned of the situation 15 minutes prior the race by looking in this thread. If a driver is missing, a steward or the host for that race where a
driver is missing will state that wery clearly in this thread. If a driver is missing in D1, pole for D2 will move up to 7th in D1, and the first on the waiting list will
move up to 7th in D2, or if it's a "Same Class" race, the driver from the waiting list will start the race from last grid slot.

This is a bit of a communication issue, that's why I ask all drivers to stay sharp 15 minutes prior to the race to make the task as easy to manage as possible for us stewards.

I. Creating and Set-up Room
  • Setup the Race Room atleast 30 minutes prior to Connect Time (atleast an hour before the Green Flag).
  • Room Name - WSGTC ROUND X
  • Set Track / Set Distance in Lap Times / Make sure to include 1 Formation Lap
  • Race For Real / Number of Participants - 14 / Mic/Headset - OFF
  • High (Recommended) / NOT Fixed Room
  • Penalty - OFF / Grid Start / Grip Reduction on wet track/track edge - Real
  • Damage - Heavy / Race Finish Delay - 180 (max)
  • Time/Weather on all the enduros and tracks that got "Weather Change" as option.
  • Boost - OFF
  • 542 hp limit (When the race is about to start, let the car on track in PP order. From lowest to highest, you can let the cars to track using bhp as well. If we change the method,
the possibility to cheat will decrease)
  • 1050 kg limit for races that include GT300's/1090 kg for races that only includes GT500's
  • Tyres: Racing Hard / ASM - OFF / TCS - OFF / SRF - OFF / Active Steering - OFF / Driving Line - OFF

2. Post Room Number in the thread

3. Make sure to have the sarting grid close at hand. It will make it easy for you to answer any questions regarding grid spots.

4. If a driver is missing 15 minutes prior the race, you shall post in the thread that a driver from D2/Waiting list can enter. If the "original" driver shows up after you have
posted that a spot is open, you have to kick the "original" driver. If a driver states very clearly in the thread that he for some reason will arrive late, it's perfectly fine. But
he NEEDS to make sure that the host for the race he is going to participate in knows. Throwing a way a PM as a compliment to the post in the thread is a smart move.

5. Make sure to save the replay.

Prizes:
Total Overall winner: Any car from the NCD worth up to 1.000.000cr
Total Overall runner up: Any car from the NCD worth up to 750.000cr
Total Overall 3rd place: Any car from the NCD worth up to 500.000cr

Class Overall winner: Any car from the NCD worth up to 350.000cr.

100 % participation (All quali and race sessions): Any car from the NCD worth up to 500.000cr
To get this prize, you need to submit a quali lap prior every race, and also finish 9/11 races with more than 85 % completion, and at least start the other 2 races.

Yay. This week we're racing again. Still need to practice before qualy. Tested yesterday and was almost 2 sec of my qualy time of last season.

I'll post my driver updated pic tomorrow. Courtesy of Mr. Owens.

I'm not yet done with all details in the thread.. Please excuse me. I'll make sure to update as soon as possible.

On another note:
Drivers that will not participate this week:
Aderrrm
chorda
Imari
Supraphantom

Wait, when was my car changed? :yuck:

You don't like the RE Amemaiya?
I had to do some swaps to try to make everybody happy.

And since you only posted 1 choice, I did not know which car to put you in. Exept the Subaru, which car do you like the most?

Looking back I sounded real spoilt there sorry.:guilty:

I'll take the Ameniya to avoid further complication.👍

I'm not able to participate this week either.

Thanks for telling w-g-e! 👍

NOTE: Connect / Green Flag times stated in the race schedule (post 1) are not correct. I will sort it out tomorrow since I'm not able to at the moment.

Correct times are:

Connect Time: 19.30 PM (GMT), 20.30 PM (BST), 21.30 PM (CET)
Green Flag Time: 20.00 PM (GMT), 21.00 PM (BST), 22.00 PM (CET)

In other words, the exact same times as last season.
(Got a PM from JPzer that he cant race earlier than last season at all. Since he is one of the most commited drivers, and also last season winner, I decided to move the start 30 minutes.)

Hey every body. Just wanted to let you all know to keep a special eye on the OP of the series as it's currently just a shell, skeleton, frame, foundation, etc. of what's in store for the full glory of it all.

New newness to come all week long! Me and Denilson are co-operating in getting it all together.

This is the main thread!

Keep all discussions here. 👍

Which spreadsheet are we using for Season 2 qualifying? Just did my quali tonight and don't think I'll be beating that lap any time soon! Managed to go 0.6 quicker on my 2nd flying lap than I'd managed in the 1-2 hours previously :D

1472-6118-3658-4755-2996 should still be up with Kamy etc. I just left that though.

A link to the spreadsheet will be up in each round specific thread as soon as we're done with it. We are at the moment working hard to get the threads completed.

In the meantime, just post your time in the round 1 thread. 👍

@All: Try to keep all discussions in the main thread.
Hopefully I found the main thread... Pre-season thread, Fuji thread, too many threads :)

Ultrap: Penalties are listed in the main thread. First set of violations will in most cases render a warning. In the last season at Fuji, the penalties handed out was jumped up to 10 seconds because of the estimqted time gained. Let's say that out of 27 times running wide, maybee 50% of the occations ended up in time gained. So let's say that on the other occations no time was lost. So 14 occations multiplied with ,2 of a second would end up in ~3 seconds gained. 10 sec are more than enough if you ask me.
According to the rules:
  • In qualifying, just one breach of the on track rule in qualifying results in a 'dirty lap' and automatic 5 sec penalty.
  • In the race: "Breach of Track Contact Rules (minimum 10 second penalty)"
The rules for quali are clear but for race conditions they're quite vague which is why I asked. Thanks for clarifying. Good to know going into the race that even 27 violations in a 32 lap race still fall into the minimum penalty territory. Using the .2 sec gained 50% of the time as the yardstick, one could presumably run wide 100 times and still get away with a 10s penalty.

Pre-season thread is obviously not the one we use from now on. And when I asked the question of how we should do regarding the threads, we (the ones who cared to have an opinion) decided to have 1 big thread, with links to each round specific thread where we could read about that perticular race, and also get some important info out. We will also have all results from each round in the specific thread, and the total will be in the main thread.

If stewards think that you go wide in every corner ON PURPOSE, the penalty will ofc be more strict.

This makes perfect sense. I just didn't see the Main Thread as it was buried down while the Pre-Season thread was still active and near the top. Hopefully the Pre-Season thread dies soon at which point it's a non-issue.

I'd be the last one to advocate any kind of off-track driving, let alone on purpose. I simply needed to understand how on-track rule violation penalties are applied both as a driver and steward. I accept them even though IMO these penalties are too weak and don't enforce the on-track rule enough.

I left the room but it's still open.

Damn you Mole. Your time made me look for setup changes to get me anywhere near that. I was making such crazy changes the car became undrivable. I'll try it tomorrow. Now I need to rest. ;)

Ultrap: All penalties listed are minimum penalties. In other words, they can get more strict.

When judging the incidents last season, if I recall, we listened to all drivers involved, and came to the conclution that it was not on purpose and that the time gained was slim to none. In the end of the day, stewards handed out penalties that they thought was as accurate as possible. Right or wrong, I don't know. All I know is that stewards decitions must be respected.

We also had a discussion about the penalties in the pre-season thread, and once again, the ones who had an opinion did not think that we needed to change the minimum penalty.

Understood. That's why I was surprised to see that 27 (or 100) violations incur the minimum 10s penalty. In your own words, "10s penalty was more than enough".

The 10s minimum penalty is reasonable, there was never any reason to change it. Perhaps I would have suggested a multiplier for every X violations in a race to take some subjectivity out of the equation and prevent repeated cutting. I know I wasn't very active in the discussions the past few weeks, no need to keep reminding me. In the meantime, I'm OK with the current system now that I understand it going into the race. Peace.

So this is the main thread... Sorry Den I kept on posting on the Round 1 Fuji thread, I got confused for awhile. You and Wardez (and the rest of the stewards) are doing a great job. 👍👍👍
