Did I say that it would be applied to me?

However if jamman is disadvantaged then on a rare occasion when people without this ballast win a race it takes something away from it. the same as overtaking. If they are disadvantages whats the point?

its just an idea, I race in a gt500 series and it works wonders for that, not sure how it would be with lmp as its totally different but touring cars and super by it seems to work well.

its just an idea, I race in a gt500 series and it works wonders for that, not sure how it would be with lmp as its totally different but touring cars and super by it seems to work well.

Think of the preseason 20 points the same way as you think of the ballast on the fast guys. It makes it interesting :sly:

Tiss, me and BK were right on that same pace btw (~1'45). I'm one season and done in this thing though, as much fun as it is. I'll take my 4th and 5th place finishes in S5 and go on, my goal is steal 2 podiums, try and steal a W, and 3rd in points.

I'm at a loss since this spec 2 update. The bentley is hit hard. Tire wear is bad. I could do 12-15 laps no problem last season, now 10 laps is pushing it. Maybe it's set up, we'll see next race.

ight im pissed, i got my ps3 back from sony, they said my display cables were fried so they claim they replaced them with new one but apperantly the morons sent me back the same dead ones. im goona head to gamestop and buy hdmi cables, i got my ps3 sitting here for weeks......

Well, we have 100 more hp than last season. At a place like Suzuka with many fast corners and acceleration zones it's bound to have an effect.

I'm feeling pretty confident for Suzuka. I know I'm about 3 seconds faster than the BMW's on raw pace. But I'm gaining 2 of those through the first sector. I know it's the main bulk of the lap but that is where the Audi excels. After 10 laps my tires are shot but I'm still managing to claw out 1:45's/46's so long run pace looks good too. I'm pinning my hopes on a sensible weather decision and building a lead in the dry before it starts raining in the race, where MU geared, Paginas driven 908 will be very good lol

At least they are in Denmark: "We buy your old games and sell you new ones - of course, they pay $10 for an old one, and demand $90 for a new one... all competitors are cheaper, can't believe they still exist (at least in DK, of course).

Back on topic again--> I doubt I'll get any practice, so if we have the slightest risk of rain this Saturday, I'm using my DS3. If I were to drive a 787B in the rain I would need a couple of hours of practice.

Are you using the wing on the Audi? I need to add it and give it a shot.. I wouldn't think it make that much of a difference, but if it does it needs to be banned next season, its worse then the 01 audi (unless you can add a wing to that too?)

Nope, just the Pescarolo Hybride and R8 05
But yeah the R8 is very fast now, atleast in the hands of Jamman.

The r8 is half the issue at most. Jamman switching to his wheel is most of the problem. Banning cars sucks anyway.

The GT-One has a credibility to maintain here, and it's up to akmuq, mike and I to keep it up there. Team Toyota doesn't go down easy.

Only thing was I found the last comment he posted on GTPlanet and it said his PS3 should have been fixed within the last 2 weeks.

Moreover, why wouldn't he stay/keep up with us on GTPlanet?

First off what I'd say is Suzuka is one of the main tracks the wing really benefits on. Secondly, Suzuka is my favorite track

But yeah I can understand the questioning. The wing I found adds maybe 0.3-0.5 depending on track, for me anyway. To be honest I think the Audi generally is just very fast though.

I agree with Jake though, without trying to sound arrogant lol. The wheel is the main difference. As I said a few pages back, in the run up to this season I did a 1:44.9 as my best lap with the Audi round Suzuka with 700 bhp. Now with the wheel I'm in the 1:42's. Same setup, same car. Round Nurburgring, AMF had a slight edge on me last season when I used pad in the Audi. This season I was 1.6 seconds a lap on average faster than him. Spa in practices when I started using wheel I went straight from 1:59's to 1:56's.

Obviously pad can be more consistent more easily, especially in rain. But over one lap wheel has enormous pace difference, for me anyway, and that's when I really buckled down, get some consistency and decided to start using it for season 5. Now I'm feeling as quick as ever and consistency is feeling good too. I don't know if it's normal to gain that much time with a wheel but it's the only explanation I've got
