By my math team 908 leads Team BMW 136 to 113. We've gotta step it up Tissimo and BermudaKid, the team championship is all that's motivating me to keep driving the BMW.

lol Jk, it's a fun car to drive and it looks great but man you have to fight to get speed out of it.

I just need to 'warm up' my wheel before the race and I'll do ok. The last 20-25 minutes I did pretty well, managing to come back to 6th after lollygagging in 9-11th the first 30 minutes, lol.

Also need to spin Paginas first couple of laps every race.. well have the championship then. Team BMW Caboose (BK) thats your job.

is that a threat? Or a challenge lol

By my calculations these are the points standings at the top:

1. jamman48 90
2. paginas 65
3. bombe 32 61
4. jakegirard 60
5. tissimo 43
6. mu 38
7. drum 33

Whoa, how can Jamman have 90 points for finishing 1 race? Told you there was corruption when a dictator is in charge, lol ;)

QuickStat: 7 out of 18 "active" drivers have completed the first two events of the season, meaning 11 drivers have already used up their "lowest result" race and will certainly be out of championship contention if they miss another event or do not finish.

In other words, only 40% of league entrants may now be vying for decent points by the end of the season.

Double-check those LAN cables, gentlemen, and remember: your mum's shepherd's pie may be good, but it can always be reheated. LE MANS 4EVA.

Is that a reference to a certain goldfish?

Oh and Jamman, the F1 patch is today so do you want to do some co-op championship? I will sort out a wheel mount. If not, we must play Uncharted.

I think your calculations are slightly wrong Jake lol. I got 20 for pre-season, I got 3 points for qualifying at Daytona and I won on Saturday with the bonus points that it 35. So I'll be on 58 points I think? I've already used my worst result, but Daytona I always knew was going to be my weak race. Just too bad it's at the start of the season :(

So, to heck with GT5, but a F1 patch, "OMFG I need a wheel!.!"
What happened to your 11/10 Skyrim?

LOL.. why would jam want to do coop with golfer when he's similar (maybe exagerating) to tom LOL

you just summed it up. Plus me and Jamman had started a championship before but the AI got reset to amateur which mande turn one of Melbourne amausing. After turn 2, we had such a big gap that the AI weren't on the mini-map.

Also, bombe, Skyrim is epic. Best game ever. But there is a major glitch that occurs on the PS3 after about 20 hours. That and I want to play F1 because it has been fixed.

Main pro's of the patch

  • The graphics and handling are on another planet to before the patch
  • 11/11 spring rate bug fixed
  • Frame-rate now better at Monaco

Main con's of the patch

  • 11/11 spring rate bug is fixed but now the 6/6 spring rate is superior to all the rest.
  • Tyres now in some case double in wear inexplicably between practice sessions
  • Frame-rate better at Monaco but everywhere else it seems worse. Coming out the pits at Silvertsone I felt like I was a space hopper inside the cockpit.
  • Several new bugs

So overall another **** up by CM.

So I just did the Time Trial, and I looked at the top 10.

All using SRF.

Seriously? Why can't time trials at least have some sort of sorting for aids. Like, show times with no SRF. SRF is so cheap.

Thats what I get for smoking 2 monster joints before doing math LOL.

Yea so the points race is officially epic in that case, with Paginas, Jamman, Bombe and I all within 7 points. Tissimo Mu and Drum are within striking distance as of now.

why was points handed out for pre season race, don't think that's fair to be honest

To encourage people to turn up to pre-season. Otherwise people think, meh it's only a pre-season and don't bother showing up. They got 20 points but because I was busy that weekend, I don't get my 20 points. How unfair is that??!! :ouch:

Damn, what was the pace? I think i did a 1:44.9 on Saturday.

42.6 was his fastest lap i think.

After changing gearing, seems I have great acceleration at suzuka that should keep me somewhere near the mid of the pack? that will hopefully make up for my lack of skill at suzuka.

Sarthe gearing needs work. I can drive well there and my braking points are later than a few of you [sorry about hitting you jamman] but they always pull away very slowly :<

What mics / headsets are you using for the PS3? I might consider getting one sometime, but not for Christmas if that's what you think.

Jamman, don't you want some ballast to the Audi? This is going to be too easy for you...
--

BK, Idk if you've planned it already, but do you have a plan about the weather?

Drum, Paginas. I'll PM you the rain transmission for the 908 soon and it'll make driving it a piece of cake. We'll be guaranteed to get a 1-2-3 if it rains. I'll do it tomorrow as I can't remember it in detail off the top of my head. :)
