Jamman just fyi, our stats are eerily similar lol. 5 wins, 4 poles to 2, 8 Podiums, 1 Championship each...

I think I'm gonna have to come after you in a faster car in Season 6 LOL

Any of the NA guys joined Bermuda's lounge yet so we can join?

Edit: Yup, Jake has.👍

Great realised my brother was downloading bf3.. then he came in and unplugged my ps3. Thanks LOL
Anyway can the stewards look at lap 11 were Jake was a douche

Cheers

Edit: quali 2nd... That's the easy bit LOL
My lack if race practice showed as you can tell with all my mistakes but Jake was 100% an idiot and if I wasn't trying to get back up the field I would have just allowed him to hit me as hard as he was trying

Hope seb wins and bombe and seth make up the podium
:)

I actually really enjoyed the hard racing with you lol, guess you took my slides for intentionally pushing

if it was slides then i appologise.. just i'm in cockpit view and assumed you would be turning into me due to me hitting you previously..

if thats the case then I'm sorry

No the bmw is just so hard to keep traction on exit, i was trying to keep up but not put you off the track, which was sort of what happened. I know I pushed you wide on the exit of 4 once, for that i'm sorry.

I actually gained a lot of respect for you in those 2 laps we raced, you've improved.

Hehe. Easily my best drive ever personally. Led every lap, pole position, fastest lap (I hope it was anyway with a 1:42.3) and race win by well over a minute. Loved every second of it. I doubt I will take a win like that again :) It left me doing this for sure:

How you were so quick I don't know..

I couldn't believe how different the handling as that track mind lol.. I was running 44s and you were still pulling away :(

It's like watching Season 1 & 2 again with the 2001 Audies dominating...

good race all, had good fun fighting through the pack and I had a very good battle with bombe, his one of the best/respectful driver here, its a shame old mike blocked him and I got an easy pass, but I'm not complaining haha

sorry tiss for turn 4 on lap 1, I just caught the side of your car, 100% my fault... However the race got its revenge on me on the last corner when I got pushed wide into the gravel

looking forward to next race

oh and well done jam lol

I really need to fix my pedal.. Its odd..

When I first turn it on.. First 5 minutes are smooth throttle with a slight deadspot. After 5 minutes for another 30ish minutes its really jumpy. When pressing it it'll go from like 15% then jump to like 80-90% then settle at like 60%, causing horrible oversteer mid corner as I'm trying to accelerate out (think of just flooring it mid corner every corner). Then after the 30 minutes, its just a gap from ~15% to 35-40% but it doesn't jump when coming in allowing me to control it as I'm applying throttle mid corner.

After my wheel settled down I pulled a 1:43.7.. A good deal up from my previous best of a 1:46.1, LOL.

Haha np, combination of my oversteer + being slow out and you getting a good run. I would of been a road block for 1/2 the field anyways as I was only running 1:47s and maybe a high 1:46 at first.

Congrats to Jam on a Schu-like drive.

I mixed it up a bit for the first few laps then fell to the back and resigned myself as I had no time to practice this week. Still a fun track as there are very few places where you will stay on the track if you make a mistake.

Spun the car right between 2nd and 3rd place cars coming around into passing distance, with bombe diving low and Paginas going high and the latter gaining second position to the bizarre racing incident.

Thank you guys for the good turn out, points and scoring will be fully updated in several minutes from now on the official S5 master spreadsheet. Detailed past race results and points will be available when I have time to do them, probably Sun/Mon.

EDIT: Driver master statistics now updated through Race 2/6.

Why sebbbbbbbbbbbb we don't need pics to polute threads.
You realize that's the pot calling the kettle black, right? :)

Suzuka and then Spa coming up. This should play into the hands of Team 908 as it's more than likely to rain. :D

Suzuka is by far my favorite track as I have stated many times before. It's the track that sorts out the men from the boys. It's the crown jewel of my season, even more so than La Sarthe. So I don't even mind whether it rains or not. It's the track I most desperately want to win at though, again :)

Yeah Mike, it was a bit bizarre. You spun and in your attempt to give us room you couldn't see I was going outside as I was trying to avoid you. Nevertheless, I think Page would have beaten me anyway. I had defended myself for 4-5 laps with him on my tail after the last pit stop, but on worn tires he had previously eaten 10-15 seconds or so, just a matter of time when he would've passed me.

Obviously I get a little frustrated when it happens, but I am very pleased with 3rd today. I think I was the biggest surprise in the race, considering my previous race results. I have only won in the Audi, so I'm not that good.

Qualifying race was my biggest help. That Mazda can really accelerate, the damn Pugs was just spectators at race start, lol

But you don't have a GT-One anymore, and as we all know, the GT-One is epic at Suzuka. That Audi though, has so much grip in the corners, it will surely be able to stay with it, especially in Jamman's hands.

If it rains, i'm hoping my good rain experience without traction control will help make it play into my hands. That never happens anyway, because I always either don't show up, or finish 8th.

Then there's my teammate akmuq. Believe it or not, he is a rainmeister. If it rains, then he will shine.

Peter you don't quite understand how fast Jamm is right now..... you won't be racing him at all. I hit ak in the race today by accident, I let him back by but I felt bad.

A man can dream, no?

Over a single lap, I don't think i'm too far behind. I just need time to practise, which I just can't ever get. :ouch:

Working on the race edit now. I developed a new way to do them that takes less time and is easier 👍 Plus the new rewind feature helps.

I was going for 2nd place when all fell out of whack. I pit too early, ruined my tires for the end of the race. I really gotta get alone time when I can concentrate on the race and not have to hear my g/f complain or my son run around. In the beginning I was on a tear, went from 7th to 3rd pretty easily. It was good racing Paginas and Bombe but with the tires going out too fast it was not to be. Fell prey to Jake's BMW at the end as well. Way too much oversteer, and 60kg of ballast really hurts the tires since spec 2. I've noticed this with a couple other cars as well.

Fasta then me, well then he really is good :) 👍

Edit: add me on PSN jake.

Put it this way.. last year over 1 lap I was quickest.. this year I was 2nd 1.6 off jam.

I had no practice but I'm pretty sure that I couldn't find over a second from that lap
