Koenigsegg carries the Sweden flag better than Saab/Volvo-Polestar ever could. But it won't be Sweden.
I like them as much as the next guy but no matter where the game goes they won't leave out Koenigsegg. Volvo has so many cars I'd like to see, and that's not even counting cars that were past games.

Wherever it goes I just hope we get a dive into the local manufacturers like we got with Australia and UK. That's the only thing that disappointed me about Mexico, pretty much only the Vuhl and Taurus felt Mexican to me.

The first Series reprise will be High Performance! Guessing this means the Oval Track will return sooner than expected, but after I realized just how underwhelming the Italian Automotive returning cars were (I mean, who's going to turn down free STOs and Ageras over 4Cs?), I suppose this was inevitable.

Also, this week's Backstage Voting--probably the last time I'll be reporting on this--will be between the SRT Durango R/Hot Wheels Nash and the Horizon Race-Off Team Off-road Reward with the Plymouth Fury.

Nothing new for me, so I've now got 2 BS passes in hand. Currently at 833/891 (14 of those missing are DLC cars).

Speaking of. Last night I 100%'d the Rally Expansion and Hot Wheels Park--today I completed the Car Collection, for one last time.

As of today, my Horizon journey has finally come to an end--at least for now. I'll probably complete the rest of Midnight Muscle, but after that? I'm done. I have nothing pulling me back in. Mexico is over for me.

I think this is the earliest PG has stopped updating the game. If I'm not mistaken, PG continued to update the previous games with new content right up through the announcement of the next game in the series.

No doubt about that. That being said this is the first time a port to another console, especially a competitor's console, has ever been a factor for Forza. It's very possible that the whole reason we're seeing this happen now is because Playground might have been asked to go 'all hands on deck' for the PS5 port and leave live content by the wayside. Remember, there's still talk of one more update, Horizon Realms, that might drop when the PS5 port hits. If that's in May, and FH6 isn't announced then or at Xbox's big summer showcase, then it's possible that might also be the first update of a shortened Year Four and we get to do this all over again. :P

Other company (Hot Button) is handling the port. If anything, PGs attention has shifted to the new FH if they plan to release late this year, or early the next.

Oh I remember--heck right after I posted that I remembered just how much more sense it makes for the Playlist Voting to be how Horizon's live service would be handled on the PS5. Ah well, at least Horizon Realms will be the only real content update the PS5 version gets in that case.

Depends on how you look at it - Series 37 was the last new one for FH4 while FH5 got to Series 43, which is an extra six months. FH3 had 'only' 29 months of Forzathons, so we're more than a year past that point. The difference is that the release schedule is slowing dramatically - instead of every two years, FH5 took three, and FH6 is at three and a half and counting. That's why the sequel announcement hasn't kept up in my opinion, it's just taking longer to make the games.

That being said this is the first time a port to another console, especially a competitor's console, has ever been a factor for Forza.

It's not another console, but FH4 had the Steam port release only 3 months before FH5 was announced and new playlists ended. That too was outsourced though.
