I have to say, buying these have sort of been my "illegal" activity outside of home. Hiding it from my parents, buying it after work by borrowing my parent's car, and sneaking them inside. Snuck my recent purchases in by going to the library to get some books to cover them.

It's the other way around for me! It's my kids I have to hide my HW activity from. I hide them in the pockets of my jacket and then stash them around the home to be later taken unobstrusively to my room and examined in secret.
If they spot me it's a case of hearing: "You bought more cars? WUT?!!" with looks enough to make a saint feel guilty.
I shall continue though to sin. In secret.

Any other colors?

I must score the AE86, and several copies of that silver grey (?) 510 that a6m5 displayed. Again - asked before: the Ken Block cars - anyone see a difference in the packaging between the black and the white? Anyone got both? The black one has Ken's graphic on the top left; the white one doesn't.

And you know i got you covered on the pics, remember the last tomica limited and kyosho post i had, But man...massive package...not to mention the 1/24 scale tamiya kits, will take months(a year?) to put together, "initiate james may voice in your head" EXCELLENT!!

I decided to treat myself to some Hot Wheels today, and oh man did I score big. And by "score big", I mean "the Target had a lot of good 2012 stuff." So nothing to worry about here, Cano.

I will say that although I read every single post in this thread, there was only one car out of the whole lot that I knew about, which was a pleasant surprise.

Anyway, this is what I brought home:

Yes, this is a Matchbox 10-pack. I always look at the ten packs since they have variations you usually can't find as single cars, but I usually never buy them because I only buy one if I want enough of the cars in it to justify the purchase. This one definitely qualifies. The good stuff here is the sweet black with gold wheels CTS-V Coupe and the lime green Miura. The blue Mustang GT-CS and the red Panamera aren't too shabby either, and most of the rest of the cars will go to practical use in my Hot Wheels city.

This is an interesting one, a "Team Hot Wheels" (exclusive to Target) Toyota truck with a tasty paint job and interesting new fast wheels. Bought this both to try out on the tracks to see how fast the new wheels are, and because it's so ridiculous looking that it's awesome.

I didn't know about the M1 for "Hot Ones" either. That and AE86, I'd like to have. 917, I want to say I have it.

Edit: Sorry for the crap lighting(even with the new camera!). 510 I think is slate blue.

All these cars in multiple colours is going to drive me nuts.

While looking for Ken Block car, I decided to sort everything I've bought so far. Top honor for most colors went to the Challenger(1969?), which I picked up five different colors. :dopey:

Here's how much I like today's Mopar. Number of the Hot Wheels I have of the current Challenger: Zero!

Edit: Just found a Vintage Racing version of the Challenger. Make that six!

Ah.

My next project will be larger storage for my cars. When I first started collecting them, I think couple years ago, Cano told me that my one shoe box wasn't gonna be enough.

Just went out after work and bought these.

On another note, while searching through a large messy bin of hot wheels, I found a Ken Block Fiesta that was missing the entire front axle and wheels without being opened and damaged. Kinda wish I got a picture of it, but of course I had nothing to take a picture of it with. Also was very tempted to buy many of the 2012 models, but I felt that the 2011 models would disappear someday, so I bought them.

Nice start right there. Man, I gotta find the AE86 ASAP!!!

I also hide the new cars from my parents all the time

. Sometimes the "smuggling" action of a new car or cars you purschased under their noses is a great thing. Just put them somewhere so they won't find them and wait until the "heat" goes down( usually around 1-2 weeks) and mess with them when they are doing something or asleep. :sly:

Apparently the AE86 was part of the decades cars. It was the only one in the store that I was able to find. So I had to buy it, along with a much better livery than most of the other one's I've seen. About the incomplete Fiesta, would it be anything special to buy an defected one? If it is worth something (at least worth posting), I'm totally going to go back out and buy it! Also, there's a page on the hot wheels wiki of defects, so I think it'd be worth a post.

I have a Infiniti G37 (V37) coupe that's loose a little from the window not being bolted up correctly and it's missing a steering wheel. I'm thinking of reparing the window soon and mod it also. But I need the tools first :ouch:

Hi All

I started collecting some of the 2011 series of hot wheels last year and got a few good ones.

I got 2 papers (sat & sun) and got the free cars this week with the poster. I got to choose the cars. I also bought another as we see more 2012 stock coming out. I'm really impressed with the cars this year.

Haven't posted in here for a short while, anyway went in search of HW's.... nothing decent to be found except the new 73 Firebird (probably the best looking American car ever designed, imo), the only worthwhile thing i came across at my local supermarket (apart from the F'bird) was this:

REALTOY, GTR

i prefer it so much more than the HW version, it's a slightly larger scale at 1/60, but the proportions seem far superior than the HW.

The best thing about it though was the price.. bare in mind, HW's cost £1-£1.25 over here in blighty, but this thing only cost 69 pence.

The only thing i would fault, is that it would have been nice if the headlights were part of the windscreen plastic instead of just painted on.

PS, Sorry for the poor quality pics.. really do need to get myself a proper camera.

I ran over to the walmart next to work during my 15 min break to grab some cars quickly, but then I realized I didn't bring my wallet out so I flipped.

I hid the cars behind the track set boxes and prayed to whomever that no one would find it. I get off work an hour and a half later and asked dad to drop me off there, got out of the car and ran in there. Luckily it was untouched.

What I bought today:
Mini Cooper - White (2)
Honda S2000 - Red (to be painted black)
Lambo Estoque - Dark blue
El Camino - Yellow (Fort Worth fire)
Shelby GT500 - Yellow (it's this year's) (2)
Lambo Aventador - Orange, my 4th one :lol:

Someone must want this for like $5 if I keep it.
