alright lads how do i join?

Just like that! 👍

You've picked a cracking Friday to join...TSR I (Enduro) at Spa! Shame you missed practice last night, but if you're clean and fast, you should be sorted.

All I need to know is your RM No. Championship colours and Club Colours (car & wheels)

All rules and car requirements are on page 1 (if you haven't already checked along with the RM No.s that have already been taken)

Welcome to the CORE!

Third Reign
While you're at it, my number in the standings got messed up again
<-48 not 46

Ok no probs (it was probably me cutting and pasting in the spreadsheet, picking up the incorrect number)

While I'm on, I'll be listing some 'Standard' model cars later tonight to see what people have, for possible inclusion in future Club Racing Seasons.

Having to do this due to the nature of the UCD, wouldn't want to pick a car that will limit entry!

As long as the tuning on them can be removed (Some tuning parts will be allowed, it's just the non removable options I'm concerned about)

Following on from that post earlier today, here is the list I was refering to...

Toyota - Supra RZ '97
Subaru - Impreza Sedan WRX STi Version III '96
Peugeot - 106 S16 '03
BMW - CSL '03
Honda - CR-X SiR '90
Nissan - Skyline HT 2000GT-R (KPGC10) '70
TVR - V8S '91
Nissan - STAGEA 260RS AutechVersion '98
Mazda - Lantis Coupe 2000 Type R '93
Toyota - MR2 1600 G-Limited Super Charger '86
Toyota - MR2 GT-S '97
Alfa Romeo - Giulia Sprint GTA 1600 '65
RUF - RGT '00
Mitsubishi - Lancer Evolution V GSR '98
Toyota - 2000GT '67
Mitsubishi - GALANT 2.0 DOHC Turbo VR-4 '89
Honda - Civic Type R (EP) '01
MG - TF160 '03
Caterham - Seven Fireblade '02
Nissan - Primera 2.0Te '90

There, a 'reasonable' list of *Standard* cars, I may not use them all, but as a selection I hope we'll all have at least some that match!

Let me know what you have and I'll compile a list so I know what Standard cars we have available to be used in the Club Racing series. Obviously, the tunings will change depending on the car, but there is one stipulation, none of the cars should have the 'non' removable tuning options JUST INCASE :)

👍

Those are the ones i have definitly picked up. Cars that would be interesting as well might be
Mercedes 190 E 2.5 16 Evolution II '91 (Prize car)
Ford RS200 '84
NISMO Tuner cars (270R 400R etc)

more than likely have all the cars on the list:tup:

like the idea of standard cars (with suspension and gearbox)

i reckon it should be in classes eg; FF FR MR 4WD

LIKE tvr v8/supra/caterham(twitchy in the extreme)
love RUF RGT(real handful)
the scooby/evo combination could be a goer with the right PP limit.

the MR would also make a good event again with the right PP limit

but what about the ALFA GIULIA TZ2 it can be got in the dealership (for only $ 10,000,000 a real bargain )

Sorry, gents - couldn't get away on time before the race commenced :( Was near 10pm before I got back to the PS3.

Would it be possible for the winner (or other front runner) to post their setup? As I'm still only learning what everything does in the suspension menu, I'm interested to see how close (or far...) I was from the race winner's pace and their setup. Maybe it will make me quicker or maybe I was just as fast as my own style allowed.

That certainly was one of the more epic races.

@R063R I managed to get 3rd (as my name suggested) but scored the fastest lap at 2.28.6xx
Height: -25 |-20
Spring 11.0 | 13.0
Damp Ex 7 | 6
Damp C 4 |6
AR Bars 4 |5

Camber 1.5 |.5
Toe 0 | 0

Brake 6 | 5
Aero 15 | 35

LSD Front 5 15 8
LSD Back 7 25 10

Center Diff 10 | 90

Transmition Only did the Top Speed quick setting to 260 ( too lazy to get into transmission tuning for now)

I'm also interested what the quicker guys had for Settings (jamesy and richboy). My ride was very stable, just a little too much on the understeer side. Tried a couple of changes but they only made the rear loose.

Not to worry R063R

It was quite an epic race, granted the close racing we're used to didn't really come into play in this race, but then again it was our first enduro, so as you could expect, it was all about pace, tyres and fuel (well pace and tyres for ade :sly: he didn't bother with fuel - a first for the CORE GT Series I'd like to add 👍 )

I didn't make any mark on the race tonight, setup was only good for 5 laps, It chewed through the rubber, but still I DID enjoy the much longer race, really made you focus, 35 laps around Spa! :scared:

10 in and 10 out tonight, all accounted for! The new challengers have really mixed it up on the leaderboard! Trotter had a good race, his best score to date, not to mention his race sense when the leaders all caught up to him and got past without issue 👍 to that man!

Well that see's us a third of the way through season 3, TI is done, TII next week.

TI Final Standings.

*Congratulations*
jamesybograt for winning S3-TI 👍

Special mention goes out to RichyBoy2Mil for the first Pole & Win in a single race :sly:

Was a great race last night chaps, had some good battles with jamesy and geordie, Very clean and fair driving 👍

My setup was nothing special, mainly standard, i dont bother with any fancy setups as i find it slows me up. If i want to go a bit faster then i push a bit harder, instead of messing with the setup.

Heres my setup
DF front 15 , rear 25
Ride hight 20 , 20
Transmission 162mph

Everything else standard.

Cheers omnius :)

Great race last night, the hour and a half seemed to fly by. Thought I was being clever by thinking the fuel would last the whole race, but had to pit on lap 32 as I would have run out. Was too busy looking in my rear view at the chicane for the front runners coming up behind, and totally missed the pit lane by so much that I had to go the wrong way to get back in it.:dunce:
Well done to Richy for the win:tup:

We thought that it was your connection, and sadly you missed a blinder. Hope its OK for tomorrows SC practice.

I dare say, my wife has chosen her/our new car!

Been out today to have a look at one, I'm quite taken!!!

Nice car Omnius, 👍 will you be allowed to drive it, or is it the wifes:sly:

Done a couple of mods to my DFGT pedal box, stiffened the brakes, and fitted an aluminium checker plate cover.

The brakes feel a lot better, although they didnt help me last night.

Thanks to Trotterlover for the checker plate.👍

I'll get to drive it now and then

Liking the pedal mods....this was one reason I opted to upgrade to the G27 - better pedals with stiffer springs on the brake and clutch!

I bet the powercords add something to the break thats for sure 👍
