Will be there for Thursday practice, had a quick practice at Cape ring periphery tonight. Managed a 1:39.9xx. With the 2 parts of the track that make the car airbourne, I am hoping for better tyre life:lol:

Well I'm having to pull out this week,my telly's just gone tits up so no PlayStation for me.Gutted!!

Should be up and running for next week though, just need to get some parts ordered.

Bugger! Not to worry!

@kolden76 I'm sure you'll get sorted soon 👍

I wish i could participate more but recently I've been busy with sound production for a musical, it has been very time consuming.

Ooh interesting work there!

Ah well, not to worry, I'm sure we'll see you soon 👍

Is there practice tonight?

Big cock-up in the bravado dept :banghead: I'm afraid!

It's been a week where I've been a day out, kept thinking it was Wednesday all day, then coupled with what we do weekly on a Thursday, getting in late has thrown the veritable spanner in the works!

Thursday practice is a bit awkward for timing at this end (8pm) and to be honest Thursdays is cutting it too tight for when I get home and get sorted :scared:

I propose a different night if everyone is finding group practice worth while :)

No worries mate, we had a practice in my lobby tonight. It was interesting, with Richyboy setting the fastest lap time, and this track proving that it will be as equally demanding on tyres as Spa. Bazzabax also came for some practice, and he looked quite handy aswell. Should be a good race tomorrow.👍

Richboy did a 1:35.6xx
I managed a 1:35.9xx at the very end

I keep missing the exit of that damned spiral...did some "racing line on" laps on Cape north, but that line sure isn't helping me exit faster than on that 35sec lap, where i nailed it.

sorry i missed practice last night, didnt pay the bill but its done and im back. :banghead::banghead:

Sorry about this but I'm not going to be back until around 10, picking the wife up and dropping of some of her work friends :( so I'm afraid it's looking like a total wipeout :banghead:

Dont worry, these things happen. In your absence we did run an unofficial 20 lap race at 10.30pm. It was good fun, but I did forget to save the replay, so all I can tell you is I came 6th, Bazza 7th, Dowlin 8th.

1 Rhonny Jotten
2 Richboy
3 Me ( all within .300secs)
4 Mark Graham
5 Jamesy
6-8 see above

One more lap and i would have had them both up front ~_~
But Richboy did have an outstanding Blocking line, making it impossible to pass him on that last lap. Then again, my line of attack wasn't too great as well. I should have chosen a wider entry to have a quicker exit.

Well, what a night!

Thanks for everyone who came and to ade who ran an unofficial race in my absence.

What I'd like to do is re run it tonight if possible, anytime after 6pm (BST) to get it done rather than waiting until next week

If not we'll replay this race next Friday

Again apologies to everyone who had turned up and had practiced through the week

I will struggle to make it at 6.00pm, and I have planned a practice session for the Sunday Cup at 8.00pm, so next Friday would be better for me.

It would probably suit Geordie better if we ran it next week to.

I wouldn't mind either way. My only concern is that racing Today would be a short notice, making the turnout a bit low.

37 Laps will be playing in my favor thought ^_^

I wont be able to make it either, Im working all night tonight :/ I certainly dont mind racing it next week.

No problem omnius :)

I don't mind if we race it again tonight or postpone it till next week.

I wasn't trying to block you Third on the last lap last night, i was trying to overtake rhonny, but i did have a defensive line round the last corner :sly:. You seemed to have a lot of speed near the end of the race Third, Good driving 👍

Thanks once again for the support lads, you are all right of course, we will reconvene next Friday as normal and as if this Friday didn't happen (my end, not the racing ade held in my absence!)

What I will do to keep the season on track is run next friday's event for roughly the same length in time, but apply a 'Club Racing' style layout with some minor adjustments.

So it will still be around the 1 hour mark but we'll race both R5 and R6 as 30 minute races a la Club Racing BUT the change will be qualifying for both races. No reverse grid :)

By the time you all read this, Rochester 68 will be available to download from my GT5 Profile.

So, this time, who's in.....?
