Many appologies to Third_Reign!

Disconnections strike again, and I tried to quickly cancel the start but I was too late!

With it being an enduro and because of my mix-up with my max room entry I had to get going with the race.

You weren't the only one with connection issues, buraspo went at lap 14

(WOOHOO! Page 100 👍 👍 👍 )

Nice race, Omnius, I really enjoyed it. Apart from the night time! :P

Great fun! I'll come back for more. Not every week (because I can't) but I'll come back. :)

Thanks for the cameo! Pleased you enjoyed the new layout! 👍

Maybe I have my screen setting too dark

That may be it ade...I know when I rigged my PS3 up to my HD screen, I thought I had my settings 'set' until I got GT5, and noticed that the dark areas (shadows etc) were too dark, there was no gradient, it was just BLACK.

After tinkering with the TV, I found out that it was a setting on my PS3 under display - the colour range, it was set to FULL, but what worked on my TV was changing it to LIMITED

Have a check of your settings ade, just incase 💡

*Congratulations*
RichyBoy2Mil for winning S3-TII 👍

Commiserations go out to jamesybograt for losing TII by just 2 points!
Special mention goes out to WarriusZero for his cameo appearance :sly: and to Third_Reign for missing out on the points through disconnection trouble! There's still time to catch jamesy though! 👍

Just to see if I can still count:
Jamesy 45 points
Richboy 46 point
:crazy::dunce:
Jamesy may still be leading, but Richboy performed best in TII

You're right! I'm still counting it as a full season! :dunce: I should wait until the morning to do my updates! Tiredness after a enduro can really play with your calculations!!!

 Third 👍

Just like Ade said :)

Remember ALL the info is on Page 1, keep an eye on that page for all your CORE needs

If there is any breaking news, this is where it will be along with the leaderboards

Also, I'll need your RM number, car & wheel colours for the leaderboard

You got a good one there then mate, letting you race when you should be taking her out.:sly::sly:

She's as good as gold mate. If putting up with me doing Core, The Sunday Cup and Mini madness wasnt enough, she doesnt mind if I race on our anniversary.

Really enjoyed the racing tonight, especially the first 6 or 7 laps battling with Third_reign. I caned my tyres by the end of lap 7, and my second set didnt last as long as the first. But after my second pit, I managed to make them last for 11 laps, and made my final pit on lap 26. I know if I had looked after the tyres a bit better in the first half of the race, I could have done a 2 stopper.

Really enjoyed the race last night and delighted over getting my first CORE victory amid some controversy which I will look into later on, but otherwise a great nights racing especially with jamesybograt and geordie cheers Omnius.

Also a little benchmark time to share for the next race, 53:966 with a controller so I can be quicker on the wheel, and I was a few tenths quicker at one stage but messed up. Happy hunting.

Sorry i missed fridays race chaps, i went out for a few beers with some friends :)

Omnius what did you mean in Mini madness last night when you said:
"I was making up for the night before" is that because i was fairly quick in the first race?

again thanks for the invite so much fun even if i did come last but ill get there and having more pepole to play on my ps3 that like gt5 is great fun see you guys on friday

Hello..... Remember me???

Missing the craic with all you guys this last wee while, but have always had something to keep me away. Was the girlfriend's birthday last week and a squad of us went crazy golfing, and then Friday past there I managed to get tickets for the both of us to the Jeff Dunham show which hit Belfast in it's tour. Actually brilliant - never laughed as much in my life. And he's a pure talent at what he does.

Don't even know what had kept me away the other weeks......and it'll be another fortnight before I'm back :( Doing the evening shift again this week coming in so HOPEFULLY next week.

And Mr Omnius - congratulations on 2000 posts in this thread! To think you were gonna close the curtain on this fine venture not so long ago..... I think I speak for everyone that has ever took a place on one of your grids when I say thank-you for your patient perseverance ;) The CORE is stronger than ever and it's getting to the point where calling a slot on the grid needs to be done on a Sunday night to be guaranteed of one.....! Yikes.

Now, as I sign off I put a question out to anybody who wants to take it.... Downloading the GT Academy was a mess for me - needed 3GB and I had less than 1GB free as most of my HDD is full of movies recorded off Film4 via PlayTV. So I wanted to delete the movies to download the Academy, only PlayTV required 3GB of free space before it could even open. Catch 22. Grrrr.....

So - question (in Dwight Schrute voice ) - looking down the route of getting an external HDD for the PS3, do I need a specific type or can I get any old thing for it??? I have a Seagate 1TB HDD for my PC - don't think I need something quite that size for PS3 as I only need that for PC for all my big file photos - would like to put a few TATW podcasts onto PS3 for play thru 5.1 as PC only has the TV speakers ;) And the assurance that i can save more movies via PlayTV. Can I use a simple plug & play type HDD like my Seagate???

Can I use a simple plug & play type HDD like my Seagate???

Hello Roger, You can use any plug and play, as long as its FAT32 format. I have a 320GB external HD, which is really just like a massive flash drive. Have you tried plugging your seagate into your PS3 to see if it recognizes it? If you are about next Sunday, will you join us for the last SC race?
