Shelby?
Ford GT?

The Ford would be impossible (I think) to get under 500PP with only 5% limiter and 5% ballast.

The Shelby is obvious. I ran a test with it myself, but I just couldn't tear myself away from the bimmer.

Eh, from my past experiences with the C5, it's a bit like a missile wrapped in very thin fiberglass. Not exactly easy to drive. Though that was me from ever so long ago…it's left a nasty impression, so it seems.

Anyway, I've finally started on my car(s)…one being a rehashed car from a previous shootout and the other is a car which, I think anyway, would be fairly good fun for those driving with a wheel. Though the lack of a sharp feeling might be off-putting, I'm hoping I can get that fixed…but if not, then deal with it, really.

It's not like the testers for this particular shootout are all amateurs, so I'm relying on you lot to prove me right.

Nahh, the C5 is surprisingly manageable! 👍

Hey Jack, I took praiano's HSC out for a spin and noticed it's still gaining power (quite a bit actually!) 0 miles standards seem to do this like premiums. First impressions... driving that car is a lot like this...

Also tested Krenkme's Lotus, and all I'll say for now is... Holy Moley!

Standard cars received by ticket need mileage for full power, yes.

I believe OCD and UCD do not, but UCD might.

I have yet to post or share the setup I'm intending to use for this shootout: Mazda RX-8. There's no issue with me releasing it on the actual dealine? I've just been busy with real-life events, but I have every intention of entering a setup fot this shootout

Well, I actually said "Holy Moley" as I passed under the billboard on to the straight and saw the split time. I also think I was laughing like a crazy person at one point.

If I can get a tester to laugh and have fun, then I have done my job as a tuner :dopey:

Started to run the HSC, but ive encountered the same thing, the power rise after one lap it had 501pp, the car already had 501pp i reduced it to 500pp. Thx Jackthalad for sharing the car.

I received an HSC on my non-GTP account as a gift, thx Ealirendur! :dopey:

Heh. I had one of our Surfer's original tune built to 500, so I thought, why not? I'm trying to figure out whether I can afford to actually be a Chuck for this one, but I usually enjoy the shoot outs vicariously at least!

Looks like it needs Rigidity and Window weight, but it should be broken in, I hope.

Thx, i will give it a try as it is before switching to praiano's tune. :)

Eh…sorry to say guys, I might (not HAVE to, just a possibility) have to pull from tuning. The P(o)S3's screwed up, disc drive or whatever it is that you put the disc in won't scan the game…or something along those lines, so I'm not sure if I can make it in time…fingers cross though…

I've made some arrangements with a few guys, hopefully I can guess tune my way out of this one…but I've got no guarantee that it'll be safe or sane to drive now. Good luck.

Updated OP with Trackripper's car. Jahgee you still need to change your settings to meet the restrictions or your car wont be accepted.

And Onboy, sorry to hear that about your PS3 I too hope you can get it fixed soon.

And one more thing, The HSC I have on share. The PP seems to be rising on it. How have people gotten around this so far? I dont have the time to break the engine in and my B-Spec level isnt high enough to run endurance races so can't do that either.

Is anybody else going to host it?

Edit:
I have made Post #2 the results page. All results for all comps will be held there. Yes that means there will be more challenges to come after this one, if people are interested. This is what I quickly made on google.docs, I don't have the knowledge to add formulas so I will have to manually update it.

Original Sheet can be found here, this is just a screenshot that may not be up to date.

I can host it. I think. I'll check when I get home.

I can host the HSC as well when ill be done testing (will test tonight probably)
:)

Ok, so I think I'm almost done with my entry. It's not yet final but It's nearing completion.
The car is being shared now, it's the Lavender RX-8.

@ Jackthalad:
You are required to run as many laps untill you feel you have gotten the most that you can get out of the car.
How literal is this?

There's 2 weeks + to the deadline, I'm willing to drive the cars enough to get a real solid lap in, but the phrase taken literally would mean at least 20 laps worth of distance per car.

I ran 2-3 laps for my Nurb shootout, this having only 12 cars I imagine I can give them all a solid 5-10 runs/laps, so I'm wondering if that's enough or not, that's all. :)
