We still need this posted back in the S1 Trucks thread somewhere:

Season 2 of trucks still needs a final table put together and posted:

I can't believe I'm the only one who noticed that I'm erratically given 12 points for a sprint race? :boggled:

SPRINTS

To those who have full PM boxes, and not received one from me, you have about 36 hours left to get your votes in. Let's make every one count - there are some close categories at the moment.

There's no reason for me to vote because I didn't even race full-time... :boggled:

Anyone that ran in a single Sprint Cup event this past season is allowed to vote. I'm quite certain that you ran enough races (5 starts) to form intelligent opinions about the listed categories. For some, you could vote based on stats alone ("Rookie of the Year" and "best Road Course driver" both come to mind). Even if you don't want to vote in every category, you should definitely vote in some of them.

Sorry for this stupid question but...how to vote please?
Here is a single post with all nominations so you don't have to follow a lot of links: https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?p=7406631#post7406631

Votes are submitted via PM to Knelly.

PM Knelly here: https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/private.php?do=newpm&u=150151

Your PM should look something like this, with the drivers you are voting for listed out beside each category:

Unluckiest Driver of the Year:

Rivalry of the Year:

Race Battle of the Year:

Race Comeback of the Year:

Rookie of the Year:

Most Improved Driver of the Year:

Most feared driver:

Most respected driver:

Best Road Course driver:

Best Oval driver:

Best Overall driver:

I don't see any results for the final race.

I posted a fixed version...

Need Daytona results from Trucks S3 if anyone has them - Season 1 and 2 standings are up in respective threads.

May interest you guys, I have a B-Spec online driver called S.Park for you guys to use :)

I sent Furi the sprint race results since I have the replay still, and I remembered+worked out the top 4 finishers in the feature race (jedijoe, me, akmuq, carb). That still leaves places 5-11 unknown (I presume we had 11, since that's how many were in the sprint race)

Counting up as we speak.

Some are runaways and others are very tight. About half way through.

EDIT : All counted up and we have a clear winner (some only just) in each category. Ordering pizza to help me through the next few hours :D

Good luck to all Nominees.

Welcome to the Second Seasonal SPRINT Awards. Throughout the next few hours we will honour those drivers who, throughout Season 3, have earned the right to have been nominated, and voted for, to recieve a SPRINT Award.

We received 13 different sets of votes this season which resulted in some close contests, and some runaway winners.

So, without further ado, our first SPRINT is in the category of:

ROOKIE OF THE SEASON

This award is eligible for any driver who has participated in 5 or more races in Season 3, and did not compete in any more than 2 races in Season 2. 5 of the Rookies were voted for but the overwhelming winner of our very first award, is MÜLE_9242.

Mule showed his dominance early in the road courses by winning at Monza with an alternative strategy which allowed awesome tyre wear. And with making it comfortably into The Chase in his first season, as well as proving a threat week in and week out, the award is thoroughly deserved.

With Mule now being the Ford Team Owner, and fielding a very strong team for Season 4, the S3 Rookie of the Season could easily become a Most Improved Driver of the Season for next year, with a potential Championship to boot.

Mule, this Rookie of the Season award is yours. Congratulations man.

RIVALRY OF THE SEASON

And the Nominees are:

SGR versus The Field
Niop versus Joe for the Title

With only two nominations in this category, it was a very different story to last season, and guaranteed Niop an award either way.

The votes have been counted and verified and a score of 9 to 3 is SGR versus The Field.

This was put into the nominations for Niop taking a 2-car team first in the draft, and daring everyone else to beat them. Frequently employed creative pit strategies, yielding mostly positive results

Congratulations to SGR for picking this up, and on behalf of the team, I can say a lot of time and effort was put in to try and come up with the best race winning strategies. Some worked, and some needed improvement. Great working with you through all these strategies Champ 👍
